| 2 | Unique characteristics of the genetics epidemiology of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in China显示文摘Continual discoveries of new genes and unraveling the genetic etiology in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS) have provided greater insight into the underlying pathogenesis in motor neuron degeneration, as well as facilitating the disease modeling and the testing of targeted therapeutics. While, the genetic etiology accounted for two-thirds of FALS and approximately 11% of SALS in Caucasians. However, the contributions of these causative genes to ALS vary among different populations. Furthermore, the prominent difference between Chinese population and other ethnics remains a source of ongoing debate. We systemically reviewed genetics literature of Chinese ALS populations and updated the mutation frequencies of the main ALS-implicated genes aiming to determine the genetic features of ALS in Chinese population. We also reviewed the associations between ALSimplicated single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) and the risk of ALS in Chinese population. A total of 116 studies were included in this analysis(86 gene mutation study articles and 30 SNPs study articles). The results showed that the overall gene mutation rates of ALS-related causative genes were 55.0% in familial ALS(FALS) and 11.7% in sporadic ALS(SALS) in Chinese population. In Chinese FALS, the highest mutation frequency was found in SOD1 gene(25.6%), followed by FUS(5.8%), TARDBP(5.8%), DCTN1(3.6%) and C9 orf 72(3.5%). In Chinese SALS, the highest mutation frequency was also identified in SOD1 gene(1.6%), followed by ANXA11(1.4%), FUS(1.3%), SQSTM1(1.0%), OPTN(0.9%) and CCNF(0.8%).The associations between several SNPs and risk of ALS were also reported in Chinese population. The genetic features of ALS in Chinese population are significantly different from those in Caucasian population, indicating an association between genetic susceptibility and origin of population. | 3 | A preliminary analysis of fishery resource exhaustion in the context of biodiversity decline显示文摘Marine biodiversity in almost all oceans is being threatened at the genetic, species, and ecosystem levels. The marine ecosystem is being degraded and the extinction rate of marine organisms has accelerated. In this paper, the potential causes of fishery resource exhaustion in the East China Sea are analyzed, including the change in the stoichiometric composition of seawater with regard to the concentrations of N and P, toxic effects of marine pollution, marine habitat destruction, increased seawater temperatures caused by climate warming, ocean acidification, pressure from overfishing, and the spread of marine pathogenic bacteria. It is believed that the factors mentioned above have significant impact on the exhaustion of fishery resources in the East China Sea. However, considering the cumulative, synergistic, and superimposed effects as well as the amplification effects resulting from their interactions, the actual risk of ecological extinction of marine organisms might be even more severe than that previously estimated. Hence, ecosystem management and research focused on a single risk factor or influencing factor is not enough to prevent marine ecosystem degradation and fishery resource exhaustion. | 4 | Exchange-coupling interaction and effective anisotropy in nanocomposite permanent materials显示文摘Taking Nd2Fe14B/α-Fe as example, the exchange-coupling interactions between magnetically soft and hard grains in nanocomposite permanent materials and their effects on the effective anisotropy of materials were investigated. The calculation results expressed that the exchange-coupling interactions are enhanced with the reduction of grain size, and the effective anisotropy of materials decreases with the reduction of gram size and the increase of magnetically soft phase component. The remanence and the effective anisotropy of materials possess the opposite variation trend with the change of grain size and phase ratio. | 5 | Nanosecond-pulsed, dual-wavelength, passively Q-switched ytterbium-doped bulk laser based on few-layer MoS2 saturable absorber显示文摘A compact saturable absorber mirror(SAM) based on few-layer molybdenum disulfide(MoS2) nanoplatelets was fabricated and successfully used as an efficient saturable absorber(SA) for the passively Q-switched solid-state laser at 1 μm wavelength. Pulses as short as 182 ns were obtained from a ytterbium-doped(Yb:LGGG) bulk laser Q-switched by the MoS2 SAM, which we believe to be the shortest one ever achieved from the MoS2 SAs-based Q-switched bulk lasers. A maximum average output power of 0.6 W was obtained with a slope efficiency of 24%,corresponding to single pulse energy up to 1.8 μJ. In addition, the simultaneous dual-wavelength Q-switching at 1025.2 and 1028.1 nm has been successfully achieved. | 6 | Road Performances of Mesoporous Nano-silica Modified Asphalt Binders显示文摘The objective of this paper was to find new modifier to improve the aging resistance and low temperature cracking resistance of asphalt. To investigate the aging resistance of modified asphalt binders, mesoporous nano-silica(doping Ti^(4+)) was used as a asphalt modifier. Some physical properties including penetration, ductility, and softening point of asphalt were analyzed with RTFO(Rotating thin film oven) aging and ultraviolet aging. Moreover, the performances of high and low temperature of modified asphalt binders with pressure aging were tested by dynamic shear rheometer(DSR) test and bending beam rheometer(BBR) test. These results showed that the penetration decreased, low temperature ductility, and softening point increased when adding mesoporous nano-silica to base asphalt. After ultraviolet radiation aging, the penetration loss and ductility loss of modified asphalt decreased than that of original asphalt, the increase of softening point was also significantly reduced than that of base asphalt. Furthermore, The test results of DSR and BBR showed that the G*sinδ and creep modulus‘s' of pressure aged asphalt decreased, but the creep rate ‘m' increased. | 9 | Effect of microstructure on the coercivity of HDDR Nd-Fe-B permanent magnetic alloy显示文摘The effect of the grain boundary microstructure on the anisotropy and coercivity was investigated in an HDDR Nd-Fe-B permanent magnetic alloy. Considering the special microstructure of its magnetic powder grain, an anisotropic theoretical model influenced simultaneously by the structure defect at the grain boundary and the exchange coupling interaction was put forward. The variations of the structure defect factors based on the nucleation and pinning mechanism with 2r0/lex (where r0 and lex are the defect thickness and the length of exchange coupling, respec-tively) were calculated. The results show that the coercivity mechanism of an HDDR Nd-Fe-B permanent magnetic alloy is greatly related to its microstructure defect at the grain boundary. For a fixed lex, when 2r0/lex < 1.67, the coercivity is controlled by the pinning mechanism; when 2r0/lex > 1.67, it is determined by the nucleation mechanism. The coercivity reaches the maximum when 2r0/lex = 1.67.
