1MdATG18a overexpression improves basal thermotolerance in transgenic apple by decreasing damage to chloroplasts显示文摘High temperature is an abiotic stress factor that threatens plant growth and development.Autophagy in response to heat stress involves the selective removal of heat-induced protein complexes.Previously,we showed that a crucial autophagy protein from apple,MdATG18a,has a positive effect on drought tolerance.In the present study,we treated transgenic apple(Malus domestica)plants overexpressing MdATG18a with high temperature and found that autophagy protected them from heat stress.Overexpression of MdATG18a in apple enhanced antioxidase activity and contributed to the production of increased beneficial antioxidants under heat stress.Transgenic apple plants exhibited higher photosynthetic capacity,as shown by the rate of CO_(2) assimilation,the maximum photochemical efficiency of photosystem II(PSII),the effective quantum yield,and the electron transport rates in photosystems I and II(PSI and PSII,respectively).We also detected elevated autophagic activity and reduced damage to chloroplasts in transgenic plants compared to WT plants.In addition,the transcriptional activities of several HSP genes were increased in transgenic apple plants.In summary,we propose that autophagy plays a critical role in basal thermotolerance in apple,primarily through a combination of enhanced antioxidant activity and reduced chloroplast damage.Liuqing Huo Xun Sun Zijian Guo Xin Jia Runmin Che Yiming Sun Yanfei Zhu Ping Wang Xiaoqing Gong Fengwang Ma 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:9
2Overexpression of MdATG18a in apple improves resistance to Diplocarpon mali infection by enhancing antioxidant activity and salicylic acid levels显示文摘Marssonina apple blotch,caused by Diplocarpon mali,is one of the most serious diseases of apple.Autophagy plays a key role in pathogen resistance.We previously showed that MdATG18a has a positive influence on drought tolerance.Herein,we describe how overexpression(OE)of MdATG18a enhances resistance to D.mali infection,probably because less H2O2 but more salicylic acid(SA)is accumulated in the leaves of OE apple plants.Expression of chitinase,β-1,3-glucanase,and SA-related marker genes was induced more strongly by D.mali in OE lines.Transcript levels of other important MdATG genes were also drastically increased by D.mali in OE plants,which indicated increased autophagy activities.Taken together,these results demonstrate that OE of MdATG18a enhances resistance to infection by D.mali and plays positive roles in H2O2-scavenging and SA accumulations.Our findings provide important information for designing strategies which could induce autophagy to minimize the impact of this disease on apple production.Xun Sun Liuqing Huo Xin Jia Runmin Che Xiaoqing Gong Ping Wang Fengwang Ma 2018Horticulture Research2018,5,1:8
3Discovery of double-peaking potassic volcanic rocks in Langshan Group of the Tanyaokou hydrothermal- sedimentary deposit, Inner Mongolia, and its indicating significance显示文摘It is revealed that the protolith of gray-light brown potash-feldspar-leucogranulites and granulites in the 2nd formation of the LG in Tanyaokou deposit are quartz kerotophyre of synsedimentary eruption based on the following facts and features: (1) The rocks look compact and homogeneous without obvious crystals with naked eyes; (2) they contain blastoporphyritic or glomeroporphyritic and blasto-crystalloclastic crystals consisting of quartz with wavy extinction and albite with obvious alteration and deformation; (3) they also contain radiated and fibrous blasto-microspherulitic texture and swallow-tailed bifurcate and blasto-hollow-skeleton crystal texture, representing the rapid cooling characteristic of the magma during submarine volcanic eruption; (4) the major chemical compositions of the rocks are: SiO2 = 70.80%―76.00%, K2O (4.83%―6.22%)>Na2O(2.78%―3.80%), and K2O+Na2O = 8.63%―9.00%; and (5) their petro-chemical diagrams indicate that they are volcanic rocks. Together with the characteristic that they occur in the same sequence with potassic spilite (SiO2 = 46.12%―50.68%, K2O = 4.23%―5.93%>Na2O = 2.15%―3.14%, K2O+Na2O = 6.51%―8.08%), it can be confirmed that the vol-canics occurring in the 2nd Formation of the LG in Tanyaokou district are double-peaking potas-sic volcanic rocks. The discovery, together with the tuffs with ore minerals and the distribution of lead isotopic as well as the value of Co/Ni of pyrites >1 showing the obvious endogenic metali-zation, can prove that the Tanyaokou deposit is an untypical SEDEX-type deposit formed in the extension fault basin in the Mesoproterozonic aulacogen of the northern margin of the North China Platform, and its metallogenesis is related to the synsedimentary volcanic activities and the hydrothermal exhalation, and both the ore-forming material source and volcanics came from mantle or lower crust. These facts mentioned above, together with the meta-volcanic rocks (double-peaking) found in the Dongshengmiao and Huogeqi districts and the host stratigraphic sequence of LG, can further prove that the Mesoproterozoic aulacogen of passive continental margin of Langshan-Zhaertaishan area had been unevenly expanded. This provides some in-formation and new approaches for the study on tectonic-hydrothermal events in Lang-shan-Zhaertaishan aulacogen and their evolutionary process, hydrothermal dynamical source, the relationship between the volcanic activities and the ore-forming process, the regional ore-forming regularity as well as for the correlation with the similar deposits abroad.PENG Runmin1, ZHAI Yusheng1, WANG Zhigang2 & HAN Xuefeng2 1. 4Ore-forming Response to Syndepositional Submarine Volcanism in Langshan-Zhaertai Mesoproterozoic SEDEX Ore Belt, Inner Mongolia, China显示文摘Ore forming process of the Dongshengmiao, Huogeqi, Tanyaokou and Jiashengpan deposits in Langshan Zhaertai Mesoproterozoic SEDEX metallogenic belt is closely related to the syndepositional volcanic activities based on the following facts: (1) The Sm Nd isochron age of the basic volcanic rocks varies from 1 491 Ma to 1 824 Ma (more than or close to the model age of the lead isotope of all sulfide minerals) in these deposits, with ε (Nd, t ) =(3.48-6.40)±0.80, whose REE composition is enriched in LREE and depleted in HREE, indicating that these volcanic rocks were derived from the mantle or lower crust. (2) The REE composition of some Pb Zn Py ores is also enriched in LREE and depleted in HREE. The chondrite normalized REE patterns are similar to those of the basic volcanic rocks. (3) In the lead isotope composition diagram of Doe and Zartman, most of sphalerite, galena, pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite are plotted on both sides of the line for the mantle or between the lines for the mantle and lower crust. (4) Cobalt content of some pyrites is much higher than their nickel content ( w (Co)/ w (Ni)= 11.91- 12.19). (5) Some volcanic blocks and debrises have been picked out from some pyrite and pyrrhotite ores. (6) All Zn Pb Cu Fe sulfide orebodies in these deposits occur in the strata overlying the metamorphic volcanic rocks in the only second ore bearing formation. The Jiashengpan deposit lacks in syndepositional volcanic rocks in the host succession, only Pb and Zn occur without Cu, but the Dongshengmiao, Tanyaokou and Huogeqi deposits with syndepositonal volcanic rocks in the host succession contain Cu, indicating the relatively high ore forming temperatures, besides Pb and Zn. 5Observation and optimization of 2 μm mode‐locked pulses in all‐fiber net anomalous dispersion laser cavity显示文摘We integrally demonstrate 2μm mode-locked pulses performances in all-fiber net anomalous dispersion cavity.Stable mode-locking operations with the center wavelength around 1950–1980 nm can be achieved by using the nonlinear polarization rotation structure and properly designing the dispersion management component.Conventional soliton is firstly obtained with a total anomalous dispersion cavity.Due to the contribution of commercial ultra-high numerical aperture fibers,net dispersion is reduced to-0.077 ps2.So that stretched pulse with 19.4 nm optical bandwidth is obtained and the de-chirped pulse-width can reach 312 fs using extra-cavity compression.Under pump power greater than 890 mW,stretched pulse can evolve into noise-like pulse with 41.3 nm bandwidth.The envelope and peak of such broadband pulse can be compressed with up to 2.2 ps and 145 fs,respectively.The single pulse energy of largely chirped stretched and noise-like pulse can reach 1.785 nJ and 1.53 nJ,respectively.Furthermore,extra-cavity compression can also contribute to a significant increase of peak power.Wanzhuo Ma Desheng Zhao Runmin Liu Tianshu Wang Quan Yuan Hao Xiong Haiying Ji Huilin Jiang 2020Opto-Electronic Advances2020,3,11:2
6Overexpression of MdATG8i improves water use efficiency in transgenic apple by modulating photosynthesis, osmotic balance, and autophagic activity under moderate water deficit显示文摘Water deficit is one of the major limiting factors for apple(Malus domestica)production on the Loess Plateau,a major apple cultivation area in China.The identification of genes related to the regulation of water use efficiency(WUE)is a crucial aspect of crop breeding programs.As a conserved degradation and recycling mechanism in eukaryotes,autophagy has been reported to participate in various stress responses.However,the relationship between autophagy and WUE regulation has not been explored.We have shown that a crucial autophagy protein in apple,MdATG8i,plays a role in improving salt tolerance.Here,we explored its biological function in response to long-term moderate drought stress.The results showed that MdATG8i-overexpressing(MdATG8i-OE)apple plants exhibited higher WUE than wild-type(WT)plants under long-term moderate drought conditions.Plant WUE can be increased by improving photosynthetic efficiency.Osmoregulation plays a critical role in plant stress resistance and adaptation.Under long-term drought conditions,the photosynthetic capacity and accumulation of sugar and amino acids were higher in MdATG8i-OE plants than in WT plants.The increased photosynthetic capacity in the OE plants could be attributed to their ability to maintain optimal stomatal aperture,organized chloroplasts,and strong antioxidant activity.MdATG8i overexpression also promoted autophagic activity,which was likely related to the changes described above.In summary,our results demonstrate that MdATG8i-OE apple lines exhibited higher WUE than WT under long-term moderate drought conditions because they maintained robust photosynthesis,effective osmotic adjustment processes,and strong autophagic activity.Xin Jia Ke Mao Ping Wang Yu Wang Xumei Jia Liuqing Huo Xun Sun Runmin Che Xiaoqing Gong Fengwang Ma 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:1

9Shock-Wave/Rail-Fasteners Interaction for Two Rocket Sleds in the Supersonic Flow Regime显示文摘Rocket sleds belong to a category of large-scale test platforms running on the ground.The applications can be found in many fields,such as aerospace engineering,conventional weapons,and civil high-tech products.In the present work,shock-wave/rail-fasteners interaction is investigated numerically when the rocket sled is in supersonic flow conditions.Two typical rocket sled models are considered,i.e.,an anti-D shaped version of the rocket sled and an axisymmetric slender-body variant.The dynamics for Mach number 2 have been simulated in the framework of a dynamic mesh method.The emerging shock waves can be categorized as head-shock,tailing-shock and reflected-shock.An unsteady large-scale vortex and related shock dynamics have been found for the anti-D shaped rocket sled.However,a quasi-steady flow state exists for the slender-body shaped rocket sled.It indicates that the axisymmetric geometry is more suitable for the effective production of rocket sleds.With the help of power spectral density analysis,we have also determined the characteristic frequencies related to shock-wave/rail-fasteners interaction.Furthermore,a harmonic phenomenon has been revealed,which is intimately related to a shock wave reflection mechanism.Bin Wang Jing Zheng Yuanyuan Yu Runmin Lv Changyue Xu 2020Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2020,16,4:0
10A cluster positioning architecture and relative positioning algorithm based on pigeon fock bionics显示文摘Unmanned clusters can realize collaborative work,fexible confguration,and efcient operation,which has become an important development trend of unmanned platforms.Cluster positioning is important for ensuring the normal operation of unmanned clusters.The existing solutions have some problems such as requiring external system assistance,high system complexity,poor architecture scalability,and accumulation of positioning errors over time.Without the aid of the information outside the cluster,we plan to construct the relative position relationship with north alignment to adopt formation control and achieve robust cluster relative positioning.Based on the idea of bionics,this paper proposes a cluster robust hierarchical positioning architecture by analyzing the autonomous behavior of pigeon focks.We divide the clusters into follower clusters,core clusters,and leader nodes,which can realize fexible networking and cluster expansion.Aiming at the core cluster that is the most critical to relative positioning in the architecture,we propose a cluster relative positioning algorithm based on spatiotemporal correlation information.With the design idea of low cost and large-scale application,the algorithm uses intra-cluster ranging and the inertial navigation motion vector to construct the positioning equation and solves it through the Multidimensional Scaling(MDS)and Multiple Objective Particle Swarm Optimization(MOPSO)algorithms.The cluster formation is abstracted as a mixed direction-distance graph and the graph rigidity theory is used to analyze localizability conditions of the algorithm.We designed the cluster positioning simulation software and conducted localizability tests and positioning accuracy tests in diferent scenarios.Compared with the relative positioning algorithm based on Extended Kalman Filter(EKF),the algorithm proposed in this paper has more relaxed positioning conditions and can adapt to a variety of scenarios.It also has higher relative positioning accuracy,and the error does not accumulate over time.Zhongliang Deng Hang Qi Chengfeng Wu Enwen Hu Runmin Wang 2023Satellite Navigation2023,4,1:0
11Coiled Polymer Artificial Muscles Having Dual-Mode Actuation with Large Stress Generation显示文摘Coiled polymer artificial muscles with both large tensile stroke and giant force generation are needed for practical applications in robotics,soft exosuits,and prosthesis.However,most polymer yarn artificial muscles cannot generate a large force or stress.Here,we report an inexpensive Twisted and Coiled Polymer artificial muscle(TCP)that performs both large isobaric and isometric contractions.This TCP can generate a tensile stroke of 20.1%and a specific work capacity of up to 1.3 kJ kg^(−1) during temperature changes from 20 to 180℃.Moreover,the nylon yarn artificial muscle produced a reversible output stress of 28.4 MPa,which is 100 times larger than human skeletal muscle.A robot arm and a simple gripper were made to demonstrate the isobaric actuation and isometric actuation of our TCP muscle,repectivley.Thus,the polymer artificial muscles with dual-mode actuation show potential applications in the field of robotics,grippers,and exoskeletons and so on.Xinghao Hu Runmin Liu Kai Zhao Yilun Wang Xianfu Bao Lin Xu Guanggui Cheng Jianning Ding 2023Journal of Bionic Engineering2023,20,4:0

14Analysis of Mineralization System and Prediction of New-Type Ore Deposits显示文摘The discovery of new-type ore deposits, an important approach to guarantee the mineral resources supply in the 21st century, often brings about a gigantic increase in the mineral resources reserves. The analysis of mineralization system is of great importance to the discovery of new type ore deposits. ① The understanding of the relationship among various ore deposit types within a mineralization system in a region can help us to locate the unknown ore deposit types from the known ore deposit types, evidence that has been proved in the mineral prospecting history of ore belts in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, China. ② The understanding of the spatial structure of a mineralization system, especially of the vertical zonation, is helpful for the discovery of the concealed ore deposit types. ③ Clarifying the temporal structure of a mineralization system, including the iteration relationship between the mineral deposit types in the mineralization, leads to the location of the missing mineralization chains from the known mineralization chains (mineral deposit type), a method often proved to be effective in the magmatic hydrothermal mineralization system.④ Clarifying the factors restraining the diversity of mineral deposit types in mineralization system leads to the discovery of the potential of new type mineral deposits in relevant region. ⑤ Studying new mineralization setting and new ore forming processes leads to discovery of new type mineral deposit. 15A Secure Microgrid Data Storage Strategy with Directed Acyclic Graph Consensus Mechanism显示文摘The wide application of intelligent terminals in microgrids has fueled the surge of data amount in recent years.In real-world scenarios,microgrids must store large amounts of data efficiently while also being able to withstand malicious cyberattacks.To meet the high hardware resource requirements,address the vulnerability to network attacks and poor reliability in the tradi-tional centralized data storage schemes,this paper proposes a secure storage management method for microgrid data that considers node trust and directed acyclic graph(DAG)consensus mechanism.Firstly,the microgrid data storage model is designed based on the edge computing technology.The blockchain,deployed on the edge computing server and combined with cloud storage,ensures reliable data storage in the microgrid.Secondly,a blockchain consen-sus algorithm based on directed acyclic graph data structure is then proposed to effectively improve the data storage timeliness and avoid disadvantages in traditional blockchain topology such as long chain construction time and low consensus efficiency.Finally,considering the tolerance differences among the candidate chain-building nodes to network attacks,a hash value update mechanism of blockchain header with node trust identification to ensure data storage security is proposed.Experimental results from the microgrid data storage platform show that the proposed method can achieve a private key update time of less than 5 milliseconds.When the number of blockchain nodes is less than 25,the blockchain construction takes no more than 80 mins,and the data throughput is close to 300 kbps.Compared with the traditional chain-topology-based consensus methods that do not consider node trust,the proposed method has higher efficiency in data storage and better resistance to network attacks.Jian Shang Runmin Guan Wei Wang 2023Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing2023,37,9:0
