| 4 | Highly Improved Microstructure and Properties of Poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide) Paper-based Materials via Hot Calendering Process显示文摘In this study,the effect of hot calendering process on the microstructure and properties of poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide)(PPTA) paper-based materials was investigated.The microstructures of the fracture surface,crystalline structure,and single fiber strength of the PPTA paperbased materials as well as the different bonding behaviors between the PPTA fibers and PPTA fibrids obtained before and after the hot calendering process were examined.The results indicated that a high linear pressure would result in a limited improvement of the strength owing to the unimproved paper structure.The optimal values of tensile index and dielectric strength of 56.6 N·m/g and 27.6 kV/mm,respectively,could only be achieved with a synergistic effects of hot calendering temperature and linear pressure(240℃ and 110 k N/m,respectively).This result suggested it was possible to achieve a significant reinforcement and improvement in the interfacial bonding of functional PPTA paper-based materials,and avoid the formation of unexpected pleats and cracks in PPTA paper-based materials during the hot calendering process. | Bin Yang ZhaoQing Lu MeiYun Zhang ShunXi Song RuNan Wang | 2017 | Paper And Biomaterials2017,2,3: | 3 |
| 5 | Application of Human Adenovirus Genotyping by Phylogenetic Analysis in an Outbreak to Identify Nosocomial Infection显示文摘Nosocomial infections are common in pediatric patients and can be fatal in infants and immunocompromised patients. In September 2018, a high positive rate of human adenovirus HAdV was occurred among hospitalized children in the Children's Hospital Affiliated to the Capital Institute of Paediatrics in Beijing. To investigate whether this outbreak of HAdV was related to nosocomial infections or the result of community infections, we collected respiratory specimens from patients with acute respiratory infections in a respiratory ward during June to December 2018, and screened for respiratory viruses. Among 1,840 cases included, 95(5.2%, 95/1840) were positive for HAdV and 81 were genotyped based on phylogenetic analysis, including seven as HAdV-1(8.6%), 30 HAdV-3(37.0%), two HAdV-6(2.5%), and 42 HAdV-7(51.9%). More HAdV-positive samples were collected in August(4.7%, 12/255), September(15.0%, 41/274) and October(6.9%, 17/247), with a peak in September 2018. By combining the results of HAdV phylogenetic analysis with clinical data of patients, there were 77 cases(4.2%, 77/1840;81.1%, 77/95) excluded from nosocomial infections, eight cases representing possible infections transmitted by visitors or attending parents, three cases without sequences that might have been due to infection transmitted by roommates positive for HAdV, one case of a roommate without an HAdV sequence, and six cases that shared highly homologous sequences with those of their roommates, for which nosocomial infections might be considered. Firstly, the array gain requirements for different frequency bands are obtained through comparative analysis of the background noise level and the radiated noise level of the target. Secondly, an ultra wideband constant-beamwidth beamforming method with high robustness is established for the waveguide environment based on convex optimization. The radiated noise measurement and the following spatial array signal processing procedure is formulated. Finally, a vertical nested array measurement system is developed, and the radiated noise measurement method is verified using lake test data. | 14 | Simultaneous multi-material embedded printing for 3D heterogeneous structures显示文摘In order to mimic the natural heterogeneity of native tissue and provide a better microenvironment for cell culturing,multi-material bioprinting has become a common solution to construct tissue models in vitro.With the embedded printing method,complex 3D structure can be printed using soft biomaterials with reasonable shape fidelity.However,the current sequential multi-material embedded printing method faces a major challenge,which is the inevitable trade-off between the printed structural integrity and printing precision.Here,we propose a simultaneous multi-material embedded printing method.With this method,we can easily print firmly attached and high-precision multilayer structures.With multiple individually controlled nozzles,different biomaterials can be precisely deposited into a single crevasse,minimizing uncontrolled squeezing and guarantees no contamination of embedding medium within the structure.We analyse the dynamics of the extruded bioink in the embedding medium both analytically and experimentally,and quantitatively evaluate the effects of printing parameters including printing speed and rheology of embedding medium,on the 3D morphology of the printed filament.We demonstrate the printing of double-layer thin-walled structures,each layer less than 200μm,as well as intestine and liver models with 5%gelatin methacryloyl that are crosslinked and extracted from the embedding medium without significant impairment or delamination.The peeling test further proves that the proposed method offers better structural integrity than conventional sequential printing methods.The proposed simultaneous multi-material embedded printing method can serve as a powerful tool to support the complex heterogeneous structure fabrication and open unique prospects for personalized medicine. | Ziqi Gao Jun Yin Peng Liu Qi Li Runan Zhang Huayong Yang Hongzhao Zhou | 2023 | International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2023,5,3: | 0 |
| 15 | More common RNAemia in the early stage of severe SARS-CoV-2 BF.7.14 infections in pediatric patients显示文摘The risk factors of severe infections in children during the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS‐CoV‐2)outbreak in Beijing remain elusive.SARS‐CoV‐2‐positive children admitted to the intensive care unit(ICU)with collected plasma specimens were enrolled and screened for common pathogens using capillary electrophoresis‐based multiplex PCR from December 12,2022,to January 24,2023.The SARS‐CoV‐2 subvariants were identified using next‐generation sequencing.Plasma was positive for two(positive;P),one(suspicious;S),or no(negative;N)SARS‐CoV‐2 genes were classified as plasmatic RNA‐positive(RNAemia;P+S)or without RNAemia(N).Clinical and laboratory data of the enrolled cases were then collected and analyzed.The 34 enrolled children included 26 males and 24 younger than three years.All were negative for other respiratory pathogens.BF.7.14(18/29)was the predominant subvariant.Viral loads in respiratory specimens,hours from symptom onset to the first respiratory specimen collection(time‐variable),with comorbidities and BF.7.14 and BA.5.2 distributions were significantly different in P vs.N and RNAemia vs.without RNAemia group.Among most cases,the T lymphocyte ratios decreased,while the cytokine level and the B lymphocyte ratio increased.The time variables were 2.22±2.05 and 4.00±2.49 days in BF.7.14 and BA.5.2 infections,respectively.In conclusion,SARS‐CoV‐2 was more likely to cause severe infections among males aged≤3 years old with comorbidities during the SARS‐CoV‐2 outbreak in Beijing,while RNAemia is more common in children at the early stage of severe BF.7.14 infections,and most had high cytokine levels and B‐cell activation. | Yu Sun Runan Zhu Yang Pan Ri De Shuang Liu Liping Jia Bing Lv Xiaoyun Li Dongmei Chen Yao Yao Dong Qu Daitao Zhang Linqing Zhao | 2024 | Biosafety and Health2024,6,1: | 0 |

| 17 | Responses of CO_2 in surface water in subtropical West Pacific to El Nio event显示文摘In order to investigate the relationships between the change of T CO 2 , Δ P CO 2 and SST, current, upwelling and biological activities during El Nio event in the subtropical Pacific, the responses of T CO 2 and Δ P CO 2 in surface water in the subtropical Pacific during El Nio and La Nina have been simulated using a three dimension carbon cycle model with biota pump. The results of numerical simulations show that T CO 2 in sea water increases with reducing of SST during mature phase of El Nio in the subtropical West Pacific . At the same period ,the Kuroshio in this region was weakened ,the zonal currents were divergence , the upwelling carried the water with high concentrations of CO 2 to the sea surface , so both of T CO 2 and Δ P CO 2 in surface water were increased . But T CO 2 and Δ P CO 2 were decreased during La Nina period. | 20 | The molecular characteristics of soybean ARR-B transcription factors显示文摘The Type-B authentic response regulator(ARR-Bs)gene family is one of the important plant-specific transcription factor families involved in variety of physiological processes.However,study of ARR-Bs gene family in soybean is limited.Genome-wide analysis and expression profiling of the ARR-Bs gene family were performed in the soybean genome.31 ARR-Bs genes(namely GmARR-B1-31)were identified,containing conserved catalytic domains with protein lengths and molecular weights ranging from 246 to 699 amino acids(aa)and 28.30 to 76.86 kDa,respectively.Phylogenetic analysis grouped ARR-Bs genes into three clusters—Cluster I,Cluster II,and Cluster III—which included 15,12,and 4 genes,respectively,and were asymmetrically distributed on 17 chromosomes.Tissue specific expression analysis of GmARR-Bs family revealed a high transcription level in flowers,roots and seeds.The subcellular localization of GmARR5,GmARR14 were observed in the nucleus,and the promoter region of them included low-temperature responsive element(LTR),the C-repeat/dehydration responsive element(DRE),MBS,ABRE,MYB,MEJA and TCA-elements,which possibly participate in abiotic stress and hormones responses.qRTPCR analysis showed that the expression of GmARR-B genes were affected by different abiotic stresses,especially cold stress and salt stress,and GmARR-B5 and GmARR-B14 were significantly induced by cold stress.This suggested that ARR-Bs genes were involved in multiple abiotic stress response pathways and acted as a positive factor under cold stress. | HE LI RUNAN CHEN ZHONGCHENG CHEN JIAXIN LIN XIJUN JIN CHUNYUAN REN QIUSEN CHEN FENGQIONG CHEN GAOBO YU YUXIAN ZHANG | 2022 | BIOCELL2022,46,6: | 0 |
