| 1 | Rice allelopathy and its properties of molecular ecology显示文摘Crop allelopathy is a promising and environmentally friendly method in weed control;however,the inducible genetic trait for allelopathy in the suppression of weeds needs to be overcome for practical use.Further study needs to be directed to this end to elucidate the molecular genetics and its physiologic mechanism.In this paper,the authors review recent advances in the investigation of rice allelopathy and its molecular regulatory mechanism,especially in responses to stressful conditions including biotic and abiotic factors in China.Previous studies show that rice allelopathy could be enhanced when the rice accession was exposed to stressful conditions,and further analysis by the transcriptomics and proteomics approaches conducted in our laboratory indicated that the increase in allelopathic potential of rice,when exposed to the stresses,was attributed to increased expression level of genes involved in phenolic synthetic metabolism.The increasing phenolic compounds have been confirmed as the main allelochemicals and they jointly act to suppress the target,especially in responses to stressful condition,but it seems to be the primary effect in phenolic allelopathy.We still wonder how the exudates from rice root,which were released into rhizosphere soil,are transformed by soil microorganism to produce the higher secondary effect of phenolic allelopathy in the suppression of weeds.Therefore,the authors suggest that rhizosphere biologic properties of allelopathy in rice and its mechanism are being the key research areas in the world now,and systems biology and its approaches,such as metagenomics and metaproteomics,would be helpful to reveal the process and its molecular ecological mechanism regarding rhizospheric biology of rice allelopathy. | Wenxiong LIN Changxun FANG Ting CHEN Ruiyu LIN Jun XIONG Haibin WANG | 2010 | Frontiers in Biology2010,5,3: | 5 |

| 4 | Rapid construction of highly-dispersed cobalt nanoclusters embedded in hollow cubic carbon walls as an effective polysulfide promoter in high-energy lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘The ultrahigh specific energy density and low cost of lithium-sulfur batteries are suitable for the next generation of energy storage.However,the shuttle issue and sluggish conversion kinetics of polysulfides remain unsolved.Confining metal nanoclusters with strong polarity in conductive porous carbon is an effective strategy for tackling such knotty issues.Herein,we design and synthesize hollow cubic carbon embedded with highly dispersed cobalt nanoclusters as an effective sulfur reservoir for lithium sulfur batteries.The large cavity structure and well-dispersed cobalt nanoclusters,with uniform sizes near 11 nm,enable the hosting structure to hold the high sulfur loading,70%capacity retention after 500 cycles at 2 C with a high sulfur loading of 6.5 mg·cm^(−2),effective stress release,accelerated polysulfide conversion,superior rate performance,strong physical confinement and chemical absorption capability.Further density functional theoretical calculations demonstrate that the welldispersed cobalt nanoclusters in the hosting structure play a critical electrocatalytic role in boosting the capability of absorbing and converting polysulfides. | Lin Sun Yanxiu Liu Kaiqiang Zhang Feng Cheng Ruiyu Jiang Yangqing Liu Jing Zhu Zhong Jin Huan Pang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,6: | 0 |
| 5 | Handedness inversion of chiral mesoporous silica: A diffuse-reflectance circular dichroism study显示文摘Chiral mesoporous silica ribbons and rods with inversed handedness have been synthesized with the same enantio pure N-acylaminoacidat temperatures of 0℃and 20℃ respectively. With involving Cu^(2+)and meso-tetra(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphyrin(TPPS) as probes, ribbons and rods revealed opposite signals in diffuse-reflectance circular dichroism(DRCD) spectra, indicating the existence of inversed supramolecular chiral imprintings through helical stacking of amphiphiles. The structural evolution was systematically studied by the freeze-dried products sampled at different time after the addition of silica precursors. | 6 | A novel Tb^(3+) and Eu^(3+) co-doped dual-emitting phosphate K_(3)SrBi(P_(2)O_(7))_(2) phosphor for application in FIR thermometers显示文摘Rare earth co-doped phosphor for fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR) thermometer has gained increasing attention in recent years. Herein, the novel Tb^(3+)and Eu^(3+)co-doped K_(3)SrBi(P_(2)O_(7))_(2)(KSBP) phosphate phosphors were reported. The crystal structure of the title phosphor was determined using Rietveld refinement and proved to have a three-dimensional structure. The time-resolved spectroscopy reveals that there is almost no energy transfer between Tb^(3+)and Eu^(3+). More importantly, Tb^(3+)and Eu^(3+)emissions show different thermal quenching behaviors, which claims the potential of this material for application in optical thermometer. The FIR of the typical KSBP:0.02Tb^(3+),0.04Eu^(3+)sample demonstrates a polynomial relationship as a function of temperature and the absolute and relative sensitivity are0.025 K^(-1) and 0.59%/K, respectively.
