| 1 | Exact solutions for the flow of non-Newtonian fluid with fractional derivative in an annular pipe显示文摘This paper deals with some unsteady unidirectional transient flows of Oldroyd-B fluid in an annular pipe. The fractional calculus approach in the constitutive relationship model Oldroyd-B fluid is introduced and a generalized Jeffreys model with the fractional calculus has been built. Exact solutions of some unsteady flows of Oldroyd-B fluid in an annular pipe are obtained by using Hankel transform and Laplace transform for fractional calculus. The following four problems have been studied: (1) Poiseuille flow due to a constant pressure gradient; (2) axial Couette flow in an annulus; (3) axial Couette flow in an annulus due to a longitudinal constant shear; (4) Poiseuille flow due to a constant pressure gradient and a longitudinal constant shear. | 2 | Analysis of the flow of non-Newtonian viscoelastic fluids in fractal reservoir with the fractional derivative显示文摘In this paper, fractional order derivative, fractal dimension and spectral dimension are introduced into the seepage flow mechanics to establish the relaxation models of non-Newtonian viscoelastic fluids with the fractional derivative in fractal reservoirs. A new type integral transform is introduced, and the flow characteristics of non-Newtonian viscoelastic fluids with the fractional order derivative through a fractal reservoir are studied by using the integral transform, the discrete Laplace transform of sequential fractional derivatives and the generalized Mittag-Leffler function. Exact solutions are obtained for arbitrary fractional order derivative. The long-time and short-time asymptotic solutions for an infinite formation are also obtained. The pressure transient behavior of non-Newtonian viscoelastic fluids flow through an infinite fractal reservoir is studied by using the Stehfests inversion method of the numerical Laplace transform. It is shown that the clearer the viscoelastic characteristics of the fluid, the more the fluid is sensitive to the order of the fractional derivative. | 3 | High temperature and high pressure rheological properties of high-density water-based drilling fluids for deep wells显示文摘To maintain tight control over rheological properties of high-density water-based drilling fluids, it is essential to understand the factors influencing the rheology of water-based drilling fluids. This paper examines temperature effects on the rheological properties of two types of high-density water-based drilling fluids (fresh water-based and brine-based) under high temperature and high pressure (HTHP) with a Fann 50SL rheometer. On the basis of the water-based drilling fluid systems formulated in laboratory, this paper mainly describes the influences of different types and concentration of clay, the content of a colloid stabilizer named GHJ-1 and fluid density on the rheological parameters such as viscosity and shear stress. In addition, the effects of aging temperature and aging time of the drilling fluid on these parameters were also examined. Clay content and proportions for different densities of brine-based fluids were recommended to effectively regulate the rheological properties. Four rheological models, the Bingham, power law, Casson and H-B models, were employed to fit the rheological parameters. It turns out that the H-B model was the best one to describe the rheological properties of the high-density drilling fluid under HTHP conditions and power law model produced the worst fit. | 4 | Effect of Ti substitution on hydrogen storage properties of Zr_(1-x)Ti_xCo (x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3) alloys显示文摘Zr1-xTixCo(x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3) alloys were prepared by arc-melting method and the effect of Ti substitution on hydrogen storage properties was studied systematically. Hydrogen desorption pressure-composition-temperature(PCT) measurements were carried out using Sievert's type volumetric apparatus for ZrCo(at 473 K, 573 K and 673 K) and Zr1-xTixCo alloys(at 673 K), respectively. Products after dehydrogenation were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD). In addition, the kinetics of Zr1-xTixCo hydride was investigated at 473 K and 673 K,respectively, under hydrogen pressure of 5 MPa. Results showed that Ti substitution for Zr did not change the crystal structure of ZrCo phase.With the increase of temperature from 473 K to 673 K, the extent of disproportionation for ZrCo alloy increased. With Ti content increasing at 673 K, the desorption equilibrium pressure of Zr1-xTixCo-H2 systems elevated and the disproportionation reaction of Zr1-xTixCo alloys was inhibited effectively. | 6 | Factors influencing pore-pressure prediction in complex carbonates based on effective medium theory显示文摘A calculation model based on effective medium theory has been developed for predicting elastic properties of dry carbonates with complex pore structures by integrating the Kuster-Toksǒz model with a differential method.All types of pores are simultaneously introduced to the composite during the differential iteration process according to the ratio of their volume fractions.Based on this model,the effects of pore structures on predicted pore-pressure in carbonates were analyzed.Calculation results indicate that cracks with low pore aspect ratios lead to pore-pressure overestimation which results in lost circulation and reservoir damage.However,moldic pores and vugs with high pore aspect ratios lead to pore-pressure underestimation which results in well kick and even blowout.The pore-pressure deviation due to cracks and moldic pores increases with an increase in porosity.For carbonates with complex pore structures,adopting conventional pore-pressure prediction methods and casing program designs will expose the well drilling engineering to high uncertainties.Velocity prediction models considering the influence of pore structure need to be built to improve the reliability and accuracy of pore-pressure prediction in carbonates. | Wang Ruihe Wang Zizhen Shan Xun Qiu Hao Li Tianyang | 2013 | Petroleum Science2013,10,4: | 3 |
| 7 | Changes of Soil Microbial Biomass C and P During Wheat Growth After Application of Fertilizers显示文摘A pot experiment was carried out with a clay loam in a green house. The results showed that soil microbial biomass C increased with the application of organic manure at the beginning of the experiment and then gradually decreased with declining of the temperature. The soil biomass C increased at the tillering stage when the temperature gradually increased, and rose to the highest value at the anthesis stage, being about 554.9-794.4 mg C kg-1. The application of organic manure resulted in the highest increase in biomass C among the fertilization treatments while that of ammonium sulphate gave the lowest. At the harvest time the soil biomass C decreased to the presowing level. Like the soil biomass C the amount of biomass P was increased by the incorporation of organic manure and was the highest among the treatments, with the values of the check and ammonium sulphate treatments being the lowest. | 8 | Development and Evaluation of a New Nanometer Based Spacer NMS-I显示文摘In view of the inadequate cementing quality in the cementation for long isolation intervals of oil and gas wells, and considering the field practice in Tarim Oilfield,a nanometer material LC-212 was introduced as the base stock to experimentally develop a new spacer system NMS-I,in combination with other materials,including a chemical gel plugging agent,carboxymethyl cellulose and barite.Experimental results indicated that the system had a wide adjustable range of density,good rheological property,static stability and compatibility with cement slurry.It also showed no flocculating or thickening effect on the water-base drilling fluid and low-density cement system.Meanwhile,the capacity of lost circulation control and the influence of the spacer on the second interfacial cementing strength were evaluated by a self-made lost circulation simulator and shearing test facility.The results showed that the spacer had favorable plugging and flushing effect,and the second interfacial cementing strength can be greatly improved.Moreover,based on the experiments,the mechanisms of spacer function were analyzed.The results obtained from the investigation offer a novel approach to resolving some practical problems in cementing jobs. | Cheng Rongchao Wang Ruihe Cao Huilian Bu Yuhuan Cheng Yuanfang | 2007 | Petroleum Science2007,4,1: | 2 |

| 20 | Patterns of biomass,carbon,and nitrogen storage distribution dynamics after the invasion of pine forests by Bursaphelenchus xylophilus (Nematoda: Aphelenchoididae) in the three Gorges Reservoir Region显示文摘Masson pine stands infected by Pine wilt disease(PWD) in the Three Gorges Reservoir Region of central China were surveyed to quantify the immediate responses and subsequent trajectories of biomass,carbon(C),and nitrogen(N) in stand-level major ecosystem compartments.The biomasses of above-and belowground tree components,as well as of the understory,forest floor,and mineral soil(0–40 cm),were determined within each stand.C and N storage were also estimated for each ecosystem compartment.Overstory biomass decreased steadily with the extent of PWD infection.Understory biomass ranged from1.97 to 4.16 Mg ha^(-1),and the observed value for forest floor biomass was 12.89–22.59 Mg ha^(-1).The highest mean C and N concentrations were found in the stem bark and needles of Masson pine,respectively,while the lowest were found in the semi-to fully decomposed layer of the forest floor and stem wood of Masson pine,respectively.The C and N storage of aboveground trees,tree roots,and the aboveground ecosystem decreased with the extent ofPWD infection.However,the C and N contents of the understory,forest floor,and total mineral soil initially declined after PWD infection before recovering over the following several years.Those result concluded that the biomass,C,and N storage of different forest ecosystem compartments have experienced certain variations following the PWD epidemic.This is vital to understand the shifts in stand-level C and N allocation in PWD-damaged forest stands,as well as for predicting the responses of regional and global C and N cycling. | Ruihe Gao Youqing Luo Zhuang Wang Hanjun Yu Juan Shi | 2018 | Journal of Forestry Research2018,29,2: | 1 |
