1Design and experiment on intelligent fuzzy monitoring system for corn planters显示文摘When sowing summer corn without tillage,it is necessary to ensure that the furrow opener is free from straw congestion and that the spacing of the sowing can be adjusted according to the breeds of corn and the preset seeding rate per acre.On the basis of the structural features of newly developed no-tillage corn fertilizers,an intelligent fuzzy monitoring system for corn planters was developed in this study.The system facilitates automatic control of the spacing adjustment and the status monitor for the fertilizer tank,seed tank,and seeding orifice.According to the preset number of rows,line spacing,number of plants per acre,and seed germination rate,the control rate can be calculated through designing in surveillance software.The control rate is output to the fuzzy controller through the digital output module of the CAN bus.Fuzzy control is applied to the DC motor for stepless adjustment of the spacing.A system for video surveillance of the working status of a planter is developed for displaying a real-time video image of the planter operation and achieving an anti-congestion status monitoring of a no-tillage planting operation in a dusty environment.Through field trials,the detection accuracy was 91.4%.The seed-clogging fault-alarm accuracy was 96.0%.The entire system remained stable and reliable.Du Ruicheng Gong Bingcai Liu Ningning Wang Chenchen Yang Zidong Ma Mingjian 2013International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2013,6,3:16

4Effects of Heat Treatment and Nitrogen on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of 1Cr12NiMo Martensitic Stainless Steel显示文摘A series of heat treatments using the orthogonal experiment method were performed to study the microstructure and mechanical properties of 1Cr12NiMo martensitic stainless steel containing various nitrogen content addition. The results indicate that the optimal heat treatment is annealing at 830℃ for 1 h, austenitizing at 985℃ for 1 h followed by oil quenching, and tempering at 630℃ for 4 h followed by air cooling. Nitrogen addition to 1Cr12NiMo steel can effectively hinder the austenite grain growth, refine the martensite lath, and increase the strength and hardness. 7Identification of the lower limit of high-quality source rocks and its relation to hydrocarbon accumulation——Taking the Beier Sag in the Hailaer Basin as an example显示文摘The theory of 'source rock control' has evolved from source-rock-control hydrocarbon accumulation, to effective source-rock-control hydrocarbon accumulation, and to high-quality source-rock-control hydrocarbon accumulation. However, there are problems, such as whether high-quality source rocks exist or not? What high-quality source rocks are, and how to identify them, are yet to be agreed upon. Aimed at this issue of concern to explorationists, and taking the Beier Sag in the Hailaer Basin as an example, this paper defines the high-quality source rocks and the lower limit for evaluation of high-quality source rocks, by using the inflection point on the relationship curve of hydrocarbon (oil) expulsion, which is calculated by the material balance principle, versus total organic carbon (TOC). The results show that when TOC is low, all source rocks have limited hydrocarbon expulsion and slow growth rate, thus they cannot be high-quality source rocks. However, when TOC rises to some threshold, hydrocarbon expulsion increases significantly with TOC. This inflection point should be the lower limit of high-quality source rocks: those with TOC greater than the inflection-point value are high-quality source rocks. In addition, the lower limit of high-quality source rocks is also related to the type and maturity of organic matters in the source rocks, as well as the mineral components of the source rocks affecting the residual hydrocarbons. Theoretically, the lower limit of high-quality source rocks depends on geological conditions rather than being a constant value. However, for the sake of simplicity and practicability, in this paper TOC=2.0% is regarded as the lower limit of high-quality source rocks. The examination of such standard in the work area indicates that the high-quality source rocks in members K 1 n 2 and K 1 n 1 of the Nantun formation contribute 76% and 82% to oil generation, and 96% and 91% to oil expulsion , respectively. 8Effects of key design parameters of tine furrow opener on soil seedbed properties显示文摘The structural parameters of tine furrow openers have significant effects on soil property of seed furrow in no-till planting,thereby affecting crop growth and yields.In order to analyze the effects of key parameters of tine furrow openers on soil properties(soil bulk density,soil water-stable aggregates(WSA),and soil disturbance)of the surface soil layer of 0-10 cm and surface straw disturbance,the tine furrow openers with different structural parameters,including cutting edge thickness,cutting edge curve,penetration clearance angle and rake angle,were designed and tested under no-till conditions.Orthogonal test and single factor test were performed to analyze the effects of different parameters.Results showed that the rake angle,cutting edge thickness and cutting edge curve had significant effects on cross-sectional area of furrow(Af)and disturbance of surface straw;the rake angle had a significant effect on soil bulk density.Soil types and operating depth had significant effects on soil disturbance caused by tine furrow openers.The concave type tine furrow opener produced the lowest soil disturbance and soil bulk density of seed furrow,the highest surface straw disturbance and the greatest content of WSA(>0.5 mm).With increasing rake angles of tine furrow opener,the width of seedbed(Wsb)and the Af decreased first and then increased,respectively,while the width of soil throw(Wst)and the height of ridge(Hr)increased.The Wsb and Af created by tine furrow opener with 60°rake angle were significantly lower than that with others,respectively.The tine furrow opener with rake angle ranged from 45°to 60°created the lowest soil bulk density.As the penetration clearance angle increased,the content of WSA(>0.5 mm)decreased,but the effect of penetration clearance angle on the content of WSA(<0.5 mm)was not significant.The cutting edge thickness(<2 mm)had no significant effects on soil properties of seedbed.This study could provide a reference for optimal design of the tine furrow opener to create more suitable seedbed environment,and promote the application of the light no-till planters.Zhang Xiangcai Li Hongwen Du Ruicheng Ma Shaochun He Jin Wang Qingjie Chen Wanzhi Zheng Zhiqi Zhang Zhiqiang 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,3:7

10Critical review of perovskites-based advanced oxidation processes for wastewater treatment: Operational parameters, reaction mechanisms,and prospects显示文摘In the field of advanced oxidation processes(AOPs) of wastewater, many materials can be used as heterogeneous catalysts. The role of these catalysts is to activate oxidants and generate reactive oxygen species(ROS) to decompose refractory pollutants. Perovskite oxide, an emerging catalyst in the field of AOPs, has been extensively studied in wastewater treatment. Nevertheless, the application of perovskite in AOP systems still faces some problems, such as leaching of metal ions, a small surface area, a low number of active sites, etc. Herein, this critical review comparatively examines the activation mechanisms of peroxymonosulfate, hydrogen peroxide, and peroxydisulfate. Furthermore, the formation pathways of oxidizing species based on recent advances in experimental and theoretical studies were evaluated. In addition, the impacts of water parameters and constituents such as initial p H, oxidant concentration, catalyst dosage,natural organic matter, halide, phosphate, and carbonate were discussed. 11Vertical Variation of Nitrogen Fixers and Ammonia Oxidizers along a Sediment Profile in the Dajiuhu Peatland, Central China显示文摘To investigate the vertical variation of microbial functional groups particular nitrogen fixers and ammonia oxidizers, sediment samples from a 155 cm deep peat profile were collected from the acidic Dajiuhu Peatland and subsequently subjected to clone library construction and quantification. Results showed that nifH gene abundance varied between 105–108 copies per gram dry sediment and reduced gradually with depth. The abundances of ammonia oxidizing archaea(AOA) and ammonia oxidizing bacteria(AOB) abundance were generally comparable in each sample. More AOA was observed with a depth ?55 cm, whereas AOB was more abundant with a depth >55 cm. Phylogenetically nifH could be divided into 94 OTUs which mainly affiliated with ?-Proteobacteria. AOA were affiliated with Nitrosotalea from Group 1.1 a associated(nearly 90%) and Nitrososphaera from Group I.1 b. All AOB belonged to Nitrosospira. Notably, DJH11 with the depth of 50–55 cm was observed to have the highest abundance and the highest diversity of nitrogen fixers and ammonia oxidizers among all the samples. Pearson's correlation analysis showed a positive relationship between water content and p H with the nifH gene abundance. 12Molecular dynamics simulation of chip formation mechanism in single-crystal nickel nanomachining显示文摘Nanometric machining simulations of single-crystal nickel were performed using molecular dynamics.The atomic displacement vector method was applied to study the relationship between defect displacement vectors and the crystal slip system during different deformation stages as well as the displacement trend characteristics of workpiece atoms under different deformations.The arrangement characteristics of atoms in the machining region,relative density of atoms at different machining zones,and proportion of different atoms were investigated in detail.In addition,the atom shunt phenomenon was observed by studying the displacement trend of the atoms adjacent to the machining tool,and a method for determining the location of the shunt point was determined.Moreover,direct evidence of crystal transition caused by temperature was obtained.The effects of machining depth on workpiece damage,surface flatness,and workpiece temperature were investigated.With increasing machining depth,the chip gradually changed from spherical to strip-shaped,the damage depth of workpiece gradually increased,but the atomic arrangement of the machined surface became neater.Simultaneously,the dislocation reaction of subsurface defects was studied,and the rationality of the reaction was analyzed using an energy criterion.Furthermore,the overall temperature of the workpiece increased,but the temperature of the chip part gradually decreased.ZHU ZongXiao PENG Bin FENG RuiCheng WANG LinJun JIAO Shi DONG Yun 2019Science China(Technological Sciences)2019,62,11:2
13Sensors for measuring plant phenotyping:A review显示文摘Food crisis is a matter of prime importance because it becomes more severe as the global population grows.Among the solutions to this crisis,breeding is deemed one of the most effective ways.However,traditional phenotyping in breeding is time consuming and laborious,and the database is insufficient to meet the requirements of plant breeders,which hinders the development of breeding.Accordingly,innovations in phenotyping are urgent to solve this bottleneck.The morphometric and physiological parameters of plant are particularly interested to breeders.Numerous sensors have been employed and novel algorithms have been proposed to collect data on such parameters.This paper presents a brief review on the parameter measurement for phenotyping to describe its development in recent years.Some parameters that have been measured in phenotyping are introduced and discussed,including plant height,leaf parameters,in-plant space,chlorophyll,water stress,and biomass.And the measurement methods of each parameter with different sensors were classified and compared.Some comprehensive measurement platforms were also summarized,which are able to measure several parameters simultaneously.Besides,some deficiencies of phenotyping should be addressed,and novel methods should be proposed to reduce cost,improve efficiency,and promote phenotyping in the future.Ruicheng Qiu Shuang Wei Man Zhang Han Li Hong Sun Gang Liu Minzan Li 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,2:2
14Preprocessing method of night vision image application in apple harvesting robot显示文摘Due to the low working efficiency of apple harvesting robots,there is still a long way to go for commercialization.The machine performance and extended operating time are the two research aspects for improving efficiencies of harvesting robots,this study focused on the extended operating time and proposed a round-the-clock operation mode.Due to the influences of light,temperature,humidity,etc.,the working environment at night is relatively complex,and thus restricts the operating efficiency of the apple harvesting robot.Three different artificial light sources(incandescent lamp,fluorescent lamp,and LED lights)were selected for auxiliary light according to certain rules so that the apple night vision images could be captured.In addition,by color analysis,night and natural light images were compared to find out the color characteristics of the night vision images,and intuitive visual and difference image methods were used to analyze the noise characteristics.The results showed that the incandescent lamp is the best artificial auxiliary light for apple harvesting robots working at night,and the type of noise contained in apple night vision images is Gaussian noise mixed with some salt and pepper noise.The preprocessing method can provide a theoretical and technical reference for subsequent image processing.Weikuan Jia Yuanjie Zheng De’an Zhao Xiang Yin Xiaoyang Liu Ruicheng Du 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,2:2
15Crack propagation mechanism of γ-TiAl alloy with pre-existing twin boundary显示文摘The deformation and failure mechanisms of γ-TiAl alloy with pre-existing crack and twin boundary are investigated by using molecular dynamics simulation. The effects of the crack position on the deformation and failure mechanisms of γ-TiAl specimen are analysed through the snapshots of crack propagation, microstructure of crack tip and stress-strain curves. The simulation results show that the dislocation motion is impeded, the good ductility can be maintained and the strength would be improved simultaneously by the twin boundary. The microstructure evolution of crack tip would change with crack positions. Essentially,the deformation behaviour mainly results from the reaction of dislocation-dislocation, dislocation-twin and twin-twin. Besides,the hierarchical twin is a main plastic deformation mechanism leading to strength of γ-TiAl specimen enhancement with noncompromising ductility and strain hardening. Based on stress-strain curves, it can be concluded that the yield strength varies with crack positions. They are the determinant factors for variation of the yield strength with different crack positions such as dislocation behaviour, stacking fault and hierarchical twin. The ductile-brittle transition associated with the dislocation motion and the decohesion failure of crack tip atom can be observed from the lower boundary crack and the center crack models. The crack propagation caused by the coalescent of the void and the crack tip is the main failure mechanism of γ-TiAl specimen.
