| 1 | Syndecan-2, negatively regulated by miR-20b-5p, contributes to 5-fluorouracil resistance of colorectal cancer cells via the JNK/ERK signaling pathway显示文摘5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) resistance has been long considered as an obstacle to the efficacy of chemotherapy in colorectal cancer (CRC). In this study, we demonstrated the role of miR-20b-5p-regulated syndecan-2 (SDC2) in 5-FU resistance of CRC cells. 5-FU-resistant SW480 CRC cells were established by treatment of SW480 cells with stepwise increase of 5-FU concentration. The results showed that SDC2 was expressed significantly higher in SW480/5-FU cells than in SW480/WT cells as revealed by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and western blot analysis. MTT assay and BrdU assay showed that SDC2 overexpression led to increased cell survival rate, while SDC2 knockdown reversed the drug resistance of SW480/5-FU cells. Wound healing and transwell invasion assays revealed that knockdown of SDC2 inhibited the migratory and invasive ability of SW480/5-FU cells. Moreover, animal experiments indicated that si-SDC2 plays a suppressive role in tumor growth in vivo. We also confirmed that miR-20b-5p interacted with SDC2, which reversed the effect of SDC2 in SW480/5-FU cells via the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK)/extracellular regulated protein kinases (ERK) signaling pathway. | 12 | erbB4/HER4在非小细胞NSCLC中的表达研究(英文)显示文摘Objective: To test the expression of HER4 in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and elucidate the relationship between its over-expression and the clinical pathology of NSCLC. Methods: 70 cases of paraffin-embedded tissues from informative NSCLC were tested for the expression of HER4 by means of immunohistochemical assay. Results: HER4 were overexpressed in NSCLC in 91.4%. The overexpression of HER4 correlated only with the lymph node metastasis, TNM staging and survival after operation. | 15 | A Cu-modified active carbon fiber significantly promoted H_(2)S and PH_(3) simultaneous removal at a low reaction temperature显示文摘Poisonous gases,such as H_(2)S and PH3,produced by industrial production harm humans and damage the environment.In this study,H_(2)S and PH3 were simultaneously removed at low temperature by modified activated carbon fiber(ACF)catalysts.We have considered the active metal type,content,precursor,calcination,and reaction temperature.Experimental results exhibited that ACF could best perform by loading 15%Cu from nitrate.The optimized calcination temperature and reaction temperature separately were 550℃ and 90℃.Under these conditions,the most removal capacity could reach 69.7 mg/g and 132.1 mg/g,respectively.Characterization results showed that moderate calcination temperature(550℃)is suitable for the formation of the copper element on the surface of ACF,lower or higher temperature will generate more cuprous oxide.Although both can exhibit catalytic activity,the role of the copper element is significantly greater.Due to the exceptional dispersibility of copper(oxide),the ACF can still maintain the advantages of larger specific surface area and pore volume after loading copper,which is the main reason for better performance of related catalysts.Finally,increasing the copper loading amount can significantly increase the crystallinity and particle size of copper(oxide)on the ACF,thereby improving its catalytic performance.In situ IR found that the reason for the deactivation of the catalyst should be the accumulation of generated H_(2)PO_(4)^(-) and S0_(4)^(2-)(H_(2)0)^(6) which could poison the catalyst. | Yingwu Wang Ping Ning Ruheng Zhao Kai Li Chi Wang Xin Sun Xin Song Qiang Lin | 2021 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,6: | 0 |
| 16 | Improving signal-to-background ratio by orders of magnitude in high-speed volumetric imaging in vivo by robust Fourier light field microscopy显示文摘Fourier light field microscopy(FLFM)shows great potential in high-speed volumetric imaging of biodynamics.However,due to the inherent disadvantage of wide-field illumination,it suffers from intense background,arising from out of the depth-of-field signal and tissue scattered noise.The background will not only deteriorate the image contrast,making quantitative measurement difficult,but also introduce artifacts,especially in functional imaging of the neuronal network activity in vivo.Here,we propose the robust Fourier light field microscopy(RFLFM),which suppresses the background in FLFM by introducing structured illumination and computational reconstruction based on HiLo.The superior performance of RFLFM is verified by volumetric imaging of biological dynamics in larval zebrafish and mouse in vivo,at a volumetric imaging rate up to 33.3 Hz.The statistical results show that the fluorescence background can be significantly depressed,with the signal-to-background ratio improved by orders of magnitude and the whole image contrast improved by as much as~10.4 times.Moreover,we stress that,in functional imaging of neuronal network activity in turbid brain tissues,our system can avoid artifacts resulting from background fluctuations,while conventional light field microscopy fails.As a simple but powerful tool,we anticipate our technique to be widely adopted in robust,high-contrast,high-speed volumetric imaging. | JIAZHEN ZHAI RUHENG SHI LINGJIE KONG | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,5: | 0 |
