1不同收获方式含水率对油菜收获物流损失的影响显示文摘收获物流损失是影响油菜生产成本的重要因素,以DMH145油菜品种为对象,在丹麦FOULUM农业研究中心试验研究了油菜籽粒含水率对油菜分段收获和联合收获中3种主要损失的影响,建立了含水率与3种主要损失及总损失之间的数学函数,另外秸秆含水率对秸秆收获物流损失的影响也进行了研究。结果表明:随着含水率的降低,脱粒损失和清选损失降低,但是过低的含水量会使割台损失增大。总损失与含水率之间存在CUBIC函数关系且关系显著;不同含水率情况下,分段收获和联合收获籽粒平均损失率分别为16.358%和18.771%,分段收获平均高出联合收获2.4%;在三大损失中割台损失最低值0.976%,平均低于脱粒损失和清选损失;秸秆含水率对秸秆收获物流损失影响不显著。刘德军 赵秀荣 高连兴 Sφrensen C G 2011农业工程学报2011,27,10:46
2Improving crop nutrient efficiency through root architecture modifications显示文摘Improving crop nutrient ef ficiency becomes an essential consideration for environmentally friendly and sustainable agriculture. Plant growth and development is dependent on 17 essential nutrient elements,among them,nitrogen(N) and phosphorus(P) are the two most important mineral nutrients. Hence it is not surprising that low N and/or low P availability in soils severely constrains crop growth and productivity,and thereby have become high priority targets for improving nutrient ef ficiency in crops. Root exploration largely determines the ability of plants to acquire mineral nutrients from soils. Therefore,root architecture,the 3-dimensional con figuration of the plant's root system in the soil,is of great importance for improving crop nutrient ef ficiency. Furthermore,the symbiotic associations between host plants and arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi/rhizobial bacteria,are additional important strategies to enhance nutrient acquisition. 4Transrectal ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging measurement of extramural tumor spread in rectal cancer显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the agreement between transrectal ultrasound(TRUS) and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) in classification of ≥ T3 rectal tumors.METHODS:From January 2010 to January 2012,86 consecutive patients with ≥ T3 tumors were included in this study.The mean age of the patients was 66.4 years(range:26-91 years).The tumors were all ≥ T3 on TRUS.The sub-classification was defined by the penetration of the rectal wall:a:0 to 1 mm;b:1-5 mm;c:6-15;d:> 15 mm.Early tumors as ab(≤ 5 mm) and advanced tumors as cd(> 5 mm).All patients underwent TRUS using a 6.5 MHz transrectal transducer.The MRI was performed with a 1.5 T Philips unit.The TRUS findings were blinded to the radiologist performing the interpretation of the MRI images and measuring the depth of extramural tumor spread.RESULTS:TRUS found 51 patients to have an early ≥ T3 tumors and 35 to have an advanced tumor,whereas MRI categorized 48 as early ≥ T3 tumors and 38 as advanced tumors.No patients with tumors classified as advanced by TRUS were found to be early on MRI.The kappa value in classifying early versus advanced T3 rectal tumors was 0.93(95% CI:0.85-1.00).We found a kappa value of 0.74(95% CI:0.63-0.86) for the total sub-classification between the two methods.The mean maximal tumor outgrowth measured by TRUS,5.5 mm ± 5.63 mm and on MRI,6.3 mm ± 6.18 mm,P = 0.004.In 19 of the 86 patients the following CT scan or surgery revealed distant metastases;of the 51 patients in the ultrasound ab group three(5.9%) had metastases,whereas 16(45.7%) of 35 in the cd group harbored distant metastases,P = 0.00002.The odds ratio of having distant metastases in the ultrasound cd group compared to the ab group was 13.5(95% CI:3.5-51.6),P = 0.00002.The mean maximal ultrasound measured outgrowth was 4.3 mm(95% CI:3.2-5.5 mm) in patients without distant metastases,while the mean maximal outgrowth was 9.5 mm(95% CI:6.2-12.8 mm) in the patients with metastases,P = 0.00004.Using the MRI classification three(6.3%) of 48 in the MRI ab group had distant metastases,while 16(42.1%) of the 38 in the MRI cd group,P = 0.00004.The MRI odds ratio was 10.9(95% CI:2.9-41.4),P = 0.00008.The mean maximal MRI measured outgrowth was 4.9 mm(95% CI:3.7-6.1 mm) in patients without distant metastases,while the mean maximal outgrowth was 11.5 mm(95% CI:7.8-15.2 mm) in the patients with metastases,P = 0.000006.CONCLUSION:There is good agreement between TRUS and MRI in the pretreatment sub-classification of ≥ T3 tumors.Distant metastases are more frequent in the advanced group.Sφren R Rafaelsen Chris Vagn-Hansen Torben Sφrensen John Plφen Anders Jakobsen 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,36:14
5miRNA expression profiles in cerebrospinal fluid and blood of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia-an exploratory study显示文摘Background:MicroRNAs(miRNAs)are small non-coding RNA molecules that function as posttranscriptional regulators of gene expression.Measurements of miRNAs in cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)and blood have just started gaining attention as a novel diagnostic tool for various neurological conditions.The purpose of this exploratory investigation was to analyze the expression of miRNAs in CSF and blood of patients with Alzheimer’s disease(AD)and other neurodegenerative disorders in order to identify potential miRNA biomarker candidates able to separate AD from other types of dementia.Methods:CSF was collected by lumbar puncture performed on 10 patients diagnosed with AD and 10 patients diagnosed with either vascular dementia,frontotemporal dementia or dementia with Lewy bodies.Blood samples were taken immediately after.Total RNA was extracted from cell free fractions of CSF and plasma,and a screening for 372 known miRNA sequences was carried out by real time quantitative polymerase chain reactions(miRCURY LNA™Universal RT miRNA PCR,Polyadenylation and cDNA synthesis kit,Exiqon).Results:Fifty-two miRNAs were detected in CSF in at least nine out of ten patients in both groups.Among these,two miRNAs(let-7i-5p and miR-15a-5p)were found significantly up-regulated and one miRNA(miR-29c-3p)was found significantly down-regulated in patients with AD compared to controls.One hundred and sixty-eight miRNAs were frequently detected in the blood,among which miR-590-5p and miR-142-5p were significantly up-regulated and miR-194-5p was significantly down-regulated in AD patients compared to controls.Conclusions:Detection of miRNA expression profiles in blood and in particular CSF of patients diagnosed with different types of dementia is feasible and it seems that several expressional differences between AD and other dementia types do exist when measured in a clinically relevant setup.In this explorative pilot study,the deregulated miRNAs in CSF of AD patients may be associated with relevant target genes related to AD pathology,including APP and BACE1,which suggests that miRNAs are interesting candidates for AD biomarkers in the future.Sofie Sølvsten Sørensen Ann-Britt Nygaard Thomas Christensen 2016Translational Neurodegeneration2016,5,1:14

8Soil microorganisms alleviate the allelopathic effect of Eucalyptus grandis × E. urophylla leachates on Brassica chinensis显示文摘Soil microbes may be critical players in determining the allelopathic potential of some plants. Low levels of plant community biodiversity in Eucalyptus plantations have been attributed to the allelopathic potential of these tree species. The role of soil microbes in the allelopathic effect of leaf leachates of the hybrid tree Eucalyptus grandis×E.urophylla, was tested in Petri dish assays with Brassica chinensis as a receiver plant. Soils were collected from either a local garden(soil A) or a Eucalyptus plantation(soil B) and half of each soil was sterilized to remove microbes.These soils were then treated with E. grandis×E. urophylla leachates for 0–72 h. Seed germination of B. chinensis was significantly inhibited in soils treated with leaf leachates relative to untreated soils. The inhibitory effect of the leaf leachates was more pronounced in sterilized soils. Total phenolic content was obvious lower in nonsterile leachatetreated soils than in sterile soils. 9Application of heat shock protein expression for detecting natural adaptation and exposure to stress in natural populations显示文摘Heat-shock proteins (HSPs) play an undisputed role for maintaining cellular functioning under environmental challengesand protein denaturing conditions. Compelling evidence points to an evolutionary important role of HSPs and a strict evolutionarycontrol of these proteins as a balance between benefits and costs. While there is a great potential for using HSP expressionfor detecting natural adaptation and exposure to stress in natural populations, some obstacles and key issues await investigation.From an ecological perspective these key issues needs to be resolved in order to fully appreciate the complex responses andadaptations to stress and to increase our understanding of HSPs and other molecular chaperones for stress adaptation and potentialuse as biomarkers. 11Primary total elbow arthroplasty in complex fractures of the distal humerus显示文摘AIM:To evaluate short-to medium term outcome of total elbow arthroplasty(TEA)in complex fractures of the distal humerus.METHODS:A consecutive series of 24 complex distal humerus fractures operated with TEA in the period2006-2012 was evaluated with the Mayo Elbow Performance score(MEPS),plain radiographs,complications and overall satisfaction.The indications for surgery were 1:AO type B3 or C3 or Sheffield type 3 fracture and age above 65 or 2:fracture and severe rheumatoid arthritis.Mean follow-up time was 21 mo.RESULTS:Twenty patients were followed up.Four patients,of which 3 had died,were lost to follow up.According to the AO classification there were 17 C3,1B2 and 2 A2 fractures.Mean follow-up was 21 months(range 4-54).Mean MEPS was 94(range 65-100).Mean flexion was 114 degrees(range 80-140).According to MEPS there were 15 excellent,4 good and 1 fair result.Patient satisfaction:8 excellent,10 good,2 fair and 1poor.There were two revisions due to infection treated successfully with revision and three months of antibiotics.In two patients the locking split had loosened.One was referred to re-insertion and one chose yearly con-trols.Two patients had persistent dysaesthesia of their5th finger,but were able to discriminate between sharp and blunt.CONCLUSION:Our study suggests that TEA in complex fractures of the distal humerus in elderly patients can result in acceptable short-to medium term outcome.Brian Weng S?rensen Stig Brorson Bo Sanderhoff Olsen 2014World Journal of Orthopedics2014,5,3:5
12User Driven Innovation in the Building Process显示文摘During the late years there has been an ever-increasing focus on the possibilities to change the building process to raise quality on the final building products as well as the activities of actors involved in the building process. One reason for this interest is the new opportunities evolving due to introduction of advanced information and communication technology (ICT). The paper focuses on creative changes of the building process powered by user driven innovation activities. An overview of existing user driven innovation methodologies is given as well experiences from the ongoing Virtual Innovation in Construction (VIC) project. One important driving force for change is the opportunity for users to develop and articulate real needs concerning for example different functionalities of a building and its parts, but also on artifacts supporting the actual needs capture and requirements formulation during building design.
