| 1 | Zircon SHRIMP dating of granite from Qaidamshan,NW China显示文摘Zircon SHRIMP dating from Qaidamshan granite shows that the granite age is 446 Ma, similar to that of eclogite in the UHP belt. We think that both granite and eclogite may be formed at different stages during tectonic evolution of this area. | 2 | Erosion behavior and failure mechanism of Ti/TiAlN multilayer coatings eroded by silica sand and glass beads显示文摘Severe erosion by hard particles is a crucial problem to engine blades when aircraft take off and land in harsh environments, especially for the developed lightweight titanium alloy components. Here, we deposited the Ti/TiAlN multilayer coatings with various cycles on Ti–6 Al–4 V substrates by a home-made hybrid multisource cathodic arc system. The effects of the silica sand and glass beads on erosion behavior of the coatings were focused. Results showed that the Ti/TiAlN multilayer coatings eroded by the silica sand exhibited the predominant 'layer by layer' failure mechanism. In particular, increasing the number of cycles led to the dramatic increase in erosion rate for Ti/TiAlN multilayer coatings, due to the deterioration of their mechanical properties. Different from the silica sand case, however, the erosion rate of the coatings treated by glass beads indicated faint dependence upon the number of cycles, where the coating failure was dominated by the 'piece by piece' failure mechanism. Noted that the Ti layers along with the formed interfaces enhanced the erosion resistance of the coatings, although the failure mechanisms were differently eroded by silica sand and glass beads. | 4 | Urinary donor-derived cell-free DNA as a non-invasive biomarker for BK polyomavirus-associated nephropathy显示文摘BK polyomavirus-associated nephropathy(BKPyVAN)is a common cause of allograft failure.However,differentiation between BKPyVAN and type I T cell-mediated rejection(TCMR)is challenging when simian virus 40(SV40)staining is negative,because of the similarities in histopathology.This study investigated whether donor-derived cell-free DNA(ddcfDNA)can be used to differentiate BKPyVAN.Target region capture sequencing was applied to detect the ddcfDNAs of 12 recipients with stable graft function,22 with type I TCMR,21 with proven BKPy VAN,and 5 with possible Py VAN.We found that urinary ddcfDNA levels were upregulated in recipients with graft injury,whereas plasma ddcfDNA levels were comparable for all groups.The median urinary concentrations and fractions of ddcfDNA in proven BKPyVAN recipients were significantly higher than those in type I TCMR recipients(10.4 vs.6.1 ng/mL,P<0.001 and 68.4%vs.55.3%,P=0.013,respectively).Urinary ddcfDNA fractions(not concentrations)were higher in the BKPyVAN-pure subgroup than in the BKPyVAN-rejection-like subgroup(81.30%vs.56.64%,P=0.025).With a cut-off value of 7.81 ng/m L,urinary ddcf DNA concentrations distinguished proven BKPyVAN from type I TCMR(area under the curve(AUC)=0.848,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.734 to 0.963).These findings suggest that urinary ddcf DNA is a non-invasive biomarker which can reliably differentiate BKPy VAN from type I TCMR. | Jia SHEN Luying GUO Wenhua LEI Shuaihui LIU Pengpeng YAN Haitao LIU Jingyi ZHOU Qin ZHOU Feng LIU Tingya JIANG Huiping WANG Jianyong WU Jianghua CHEN Rending WANG | 2021 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2021，22，11： | 4 |

| 9 | Multimarker Detection of MAGE-1,MAGE-3 and AFP mRNAs by a Real-time Quantitative PCR Assay:a Possible Predictor of Hematogenous Micrometastasis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma显示文摘OBJECTIVE To explore the relationship between multimarker detection of MAGE-1,MAGE-3 and AFP mRNAs in the peripheral blood of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma and micrometastasis using a realtime quantitative-PCR(real-time Q-PCR)assay. METHODS Peripheral blood samples were obtained from control subjects and 86 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).Real-time Q-PCR was used to detect MAGE-1,MAGE-3, and AFP mRNAs in the blood cells. RESULTS In 86 tumor specimens,the positivity for MAGE-1, MAGE-3,and AFP genes was respectively 34.9%(30/86),60.5% (52/86)and 69.8%(60/86).All specimens expressed at least one marker.MAGE-1,MAGE-3,and AFP transcripts were detected respectively in 12(14.0%),18(20.1%)and 29(33.7%)of the 86 blood specimens from hepatocellular carcinoma patients,while 45 specimens(52.3%)were positive for at least one marker.In addition,MAGE-1,MAGE-3 and AFP gene transcripts were not detected in any peripheral blood specimens from 25 chronic liver disease patients and 28 normal healthy volunteers.The positive rate correlated with the TNM clinical stages,extrahepatic metastasis and portal vein carcinothrombosis(P<0.05).No correlation was found between tumor size,tumor number, differentiation,serum a-fetoprotein(AFP)and the positive rate.
