1西藏纳木错深水湖芯反映的8·4ka以来气候环境变化显示文摘利用地震剖面仪和回声测深仪调查了纳木错大部分湖区的水深和沉积物厚度分布,并在湖区东部水深60m的湖盆利用PISTON采样器获得一个332cm长的钻孔。对该钻孔进行了12个AMS14C年代测定,并进行了日历年龄校正和“碳库”效应估算,根据沉积物平均粒径建立了整个钻孔的深度-年代模式。对该钻孔进行了有机碳、总氮、正构烷烃、粒度、元素地球化学、碳酸钙和矿物等环境指标的分析,结果显示8·4ka以来湖区环境变化可以分为明显的3个阶段。早期约8400~6400aB·P.,以温度缓慢下降为主,但在8100~7800aB·P.出现一次显著的冷干事件;中期为6400~2900aB·P.,其开始显示了温暖湿润的环境特点,在6000aB·P.左右出现最强的暖湿特征后其后期转向冷干,在3000~2900aB·P.达到寒冷和干旱的低谷,反映了新冰期时期的温度强烈下降和降水的分配不均;晚期从2900aB·P.到现在,尽管温度出现回升,但总体上显示了向冷干波动变化的趋势,期间第一次降温在1800~1600aB·P.,之后温度回升后在600~300aB·P.再次下降,前者反映了公元初期的降温,后者则是小冰期的反映。朱立平 王君波 林晓 鞠建廷 谢曼平 李明慧 吴艳红 G.Daut R.Musbacher A.Schwalb 2007第四纪研究2007,27,4:69
2Effect of wall rougheners on cross-sectional flow characteristics for non-spherical particles in a horizontal rotating cylinder显示文摘Discrete-element-method(DEM) simulations have been performed to investigate the cross-sectional flow of non-spherical particles in horizontal rotating cylinders with and without wall rougheners. The nonspherical particles were modeled using the three-dimensional super-quadric equation. The influence of wall rougheners on flow behavior of grains was studied for increasing particle blockiness. Moreover,for approximately cubic particles(squareness parameters [555]), the rotational speed, gravitational acceleration and particle size were altered to investigate the effect of wall rougheners under a range of operating conditions. For spherical and near-spherical particles(approximately up to the squareness parameters [344]), wall rougheners are necessary to prevent slippage of the bed against the cylinder wall. For highly cubic particle geometries(squareness parameters larger than [344]), wall rougheners resulted in a counter-intuitive decrease in the angle of repose of the bed. In addition, wall rougheners employed in this study were demonstrated to have a higher impact on bed dynamics at higher rotational speeds and lower gravitational accelerations. 3Validation of a discrete element model using magnetic resonance measurements显示文摘The discrete element model(DEM)is a very promising modelling strategy for two-phase granular systems.However,owing to a lack of experimental measurements,validation of numerical simulations of two-phase granular systems is still an important issue.In this study,a small two-dimensional gas- fluidized bed was simulated using a discrete element model.The dimensions of the simulated bed were 44 mm×10 mm×120 mm and the fluidized particles had a diameter dp=1.2 mm and density p=1000 kg/m3.The comparison between DEM simulations and experiments are performed on the basis of time-averaged voidage maps.The drag-law of Beetstra et al.[Beetstra,R.,van der Hoef,M.A.,&Kuipers,J. A.M.(2007b).Drag force of intermediate Reynolds number flow past mono-and bidispersed arrays of spheres. 6An Approach to Polynomial NARX/NARMAX Systems Identification in a Closed-loop with Variable Structure Control显示文摘Many physical processes have nonlinear behavior which can be well represented by a polynomial NARX or NARMAX model.The identification of such models has been widely explored in literature.The majority of these approaches are for the open-loop identification.However,for reasons such as safety and production restrictions,open-loop identification cannot always be done.In such cases,closed-loop identification is necessary.This paper presents a two-step approach to closed-loop identification of the polynomial NARX/NARMAX systems with variable structure control(VSC).First,a genetic algorithm(GA) is used to maximize the similarity of VSC signal to white noise by tuning the switching function parameters.Second,the system is simulated again and its parameters are estimated by an algorithm of the least square(LS) family.Finally,simulation examples are given to show the validity of the proposed approach.O.M.Mohamed Vall R.M'hiri 2008International Journal of Automation and computing2008,5,3:6

8Climate change,thermal niches,extinction risk and maternal-effect rescue of toad-headed lizards,Phrynocephalus,in thermal extremes of the Arabian Peninsula to the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Determining the susceptibility of species to changing thermal niches is a major goal for biologists.In this paper we develop an eco-physiological model of extinction risk under climate change premised on behavioral thermoregulation.Our method downscales operative environmental temperatures,which restrict hours of activity of lizards,hr,for present-day climate(1975)and future climate scenarios(2070).We apply our model using occurrence records of 20 Phrynocephalus lizards(or taxa in species complexes)drawn from literature and museum records.Our analysis is phylogenetically informed,because some clades may be more sensitive to rising temperatures.The limits for computed hr predict local extirpations among Phrynocephalus lizards at continental scales and delineate upper boundaries of thermal niches as defined by Extreme Value Distributions.Under the 8.5 Representative Concentration Pathway scenario,we predict extirpation of 64%of local populations by 2070 across 20 Phrynocephalus species,and 12 are at high risk of total extinction due to thermal limits being exceeded.In tandem with global strategies of lower CO_(2) emissions,we propose regional strategies for establishing new national parks to protect extinction-prone taxa by preserving high-elevation climate refugia within existing sites of species occurrence.We propose that evolved acclimatization–maternal plasticity–may ameliorate risk,but is poorly studied.Previous studies revealed that adaptive maternal plasticity by thermoregulating gravid females alter progeny thermal preferences by±1℃.We describe plasticity studies for extinction-prone species that could assess whether they might be buffered from climate warming–a self-rescue.We discuss an epigenetic framework for studying such maternal-effect evolution.Barry SINERVO Donald B.MILES Yayong WU Fausto R.MÉNDEZ-DE LA CRUZ Sebastian KIRCHHOF Yin QI 2018Integrative Zoology2018,13,4:3
