1Influence of the post-treatment of HZSM-5 zeolite on catalytic performance for alkylation of benzene with methanol显示文摘The porous material HZSM-5 zeolite with micro-mesopore hierarchical porosity was prepared by post-treatment(combined alkali treatment and acid leaching) of parent zeolite and its catalytic performance for benzene alkylation with methanol was investigated. The effect of post-treatment on the textural properties was characterized by various techniques(including ICP-AES, XRD, nitrogen sorption isotherms, SEM, NH3-TPD, Py-IR and TG). The results indicated that the post-treatment could modify the structural and acidic properties of HZSM-5 zeolite. In this procedure, not only additional mesopores were created by selective extraction of silicon but also the acidity was tuned. Consequently, the modified HZSM-5 zeolite showed larger external surface area with less acid sites as compared to the parent zeolite. It was found out that the modified zeolite exhibited a higher benzene conversion and xylene selectivity for alkylation of benzene with methanol as well as excellent life span of the catalyst than conventional ones. This can be explained by the facts that the presence of additional mesopores improved the diffusion property in the reactions. Furthermore, the modified zeolite showed an appropriate Br?nsted acidity for effective suppression of the side reaction of methanol to olefins, thus reduced the accumulation of coke on the HZSM-5 zeolite, which was favorable for the catalyst stability. 2Benzene alkylation with methanol over phosphate modified hierarchical porous ZSM-5 with tailored acidity显示文摘The acidity and acid distribution of hierarchical porous ZSM-5 were tailored via phosphate modification. The catalytic results showed that both benzene conversion and selectivity of toluene and xylene increased with the presence of appropriate amount of phosphorus. Meanwhile, side reactions such as methanol to olefins related with the formation of by-product ethylbenzene formation and isomerization of xylene to meta-xylene were suppressed efficiently. 3Synthesized high-silica hierarchical porous ZSM-5 and optimization of its reaction conditions in benzene alkylation with methanol显示文摘In our present work, the high-silica hierarchical porous ZSM-5 with appropriate Br(o|¨)nsted acidity and hierarchical porous structure was synthesized by sol-gel method for continuously catalytic conversion of benzene alkylation with methanol to xylene. The effects of temperature, pressure, benzene/methanol molar ratio and weight hour space velocity(WHSV) on the catalytic performance of the catalyst were investigated as well. As a result, the high-silica hierarchical porous ZSM-5 showed great performance as the yield of xylene was up to 41.1% under the optimum reaction conditions(500 ℃,0.1 MPa,M_(benzene)/M_(methanol)= 1:1.5 and WHSV=4 h 1), while the selectivity to by-product, ethylbenzene, was well suppressed(below 0.1%). 4A leaf shape mutant provides insight into PINOID Serine/Threonine Kinase function in cucumber(Cucumis sativus L.)显示文摘Optimizing leaf shape is a major challenge in efforts to develop an ideal plant type. Cucumber leaf shapes are diverse;however, the molecular regulatory mechanisms underlying leaf shape formation are unknown. In this study, we obtained a round leaf mutant(rl) from an ethyl methanesulfonate-induced mutagenesis population. Genetic analysis revealed that a single recessive gene, rl, is responsible for this mutation. A modified Mut Map analysis combined linkage mapping identified a single nucleotide polymorphism within a candidate gene,Csa1 M537400, as the mutation underlying the trait.Csa1 M537400 encodes a PINOID kinase protein involved in auxin transport. Expression of Csa1 M537400 was significantly lower in the rl mutant than in wild type, and it displayed higher levels of IAA(indole-3-acetic acid) in several tissues. Treatment of wild-type plants with an auxin transport inhibitor induced the formation of round leaves,similar to those in the rl mutant. Altered expression patterns of several auxin-related genes in the rl mutant suggest that rl plays a key role in auxin biosynthesis,transport, and response in cucumber. 7Comparative Cyto-molecular Analysis of Repetitive DNA Provides Insights into the Differential Genome Structure and Evolution of Five Cucumis Species显示文摘The genus Cucumis, includes the cucumber(2n = 14), melon(2n = 24), and other wild species, which is a good model for studying genome organization and evolution due to their variation in genome size and basic chromosome number. In this study, five Cucumis species with different geographical origins and basic chromosome numbers(i.e., C. sativus, C. hystrix, C. melo, C. anguria, and C. metuliferus) were used to identify and characterize the repetitive DNA in detail using a phylogenetic method. Comparative cyto-molecular genetic analysis of repetitive DNA was carried out using a graph-based clustering method, construction of Neighbor-Joining tree and fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH).The results revealed that the five Cucumis species had differences in the repeat content of their genome, as well as in the composition of repetitive DNA and their genomic proportions. Three species from subgenus Melo showed a decreased tendency in both repeat types and genomic proportions, while two species from subgenus Cucumis also showed a decreased tendency in repeat types, but an increased tendency in genomic proportions. Phylogenic analysis of Cucumis Ty1/Copia, Ty3/Gypsy, and 45 S rDNA ITS regions revealed that C. sativus, C. hystrix, and C. melo were closely related species, which C. sativus and C. hystrix were closer, while C. anguria and C. metuliferus were closer to each other and further from the other three species. Differential accumulation and elimination of different repeat types divergently shaped the genomic architecture of these five Cucumis species, contributing to the genome’s evolution and diversification. 9A resource recycling technique of hydrogen production from the catalytic degradation of organics in wastewater显示文摘A resource recycling technique of hydrogen production from the catalytic degradation of organics in wastewater by aqueous phase reforming (APR) has been proposed. It is worthy of noting that this technique may be a potential way for the purification of refractory and highly toxic organics in water for hydrogen production. Hazardous organics (such as phenol, aniline, nitrobenzene, tetrahydrofuran (THF), toluene, N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and cyclohexanol) in water could be completely de-graded into H2 and CO2 with high selectivity over Raney Ni, and Sn-modified Raney Ni (Sn-Raney-Ni) or Pd/C catalyst under mild conditions. The experimental results operated in tubular and autoclave reactors, indicated that the degradation degree of organics and H2 selectivity could reach 100% under the optimal reaction conditions. 11Probing deactivation by coking in catalyst pellets for dry reforming of methane using a pore network model显示文摘Dry reforming of methane(DRM) is an attractive technology for utilizing the greenhouse gases(CO_(2) and CH_(4)) to produce syngas. However, the catalyst pellets for DRM are heavily plagued by deactivation by coking, which prevents this technology from commercialization. In this work, a pore network model is developed to probe the catalyst deactivation by coking in a Ni/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst pellet for DRM. The reaction conditions can significantly change the coking rate and then affect the catalyst deactivation. The catalyst lifetime is higher under lower temperature, pressure, and CH_(4)/CO_(2) molar ratio, but the maximum coke content in a catalyst pellet is independent of these reaction conditions. The catalyst pellet with larger pore diameter, narrower pore size distribution and higher pore connectivity is more robust against catalyst deactivation by coking, as the pores in this pellet are more difficult to be plugged or inaccessible.The maximum coke content is also higher for narrower pore size distribution and higher pore connectivity, as the number of inaccessible pores is lower. Besides, the catalyst pellet radius only slightly affects the coke content, although the diffusion limitation increases with the pellet radius.
