| 1 | Management of post-hepatectomy complications显示文摘Hepatic resection had an impressive growth over time.It has been widely performed for the treatment of various liver diseases,such as malignant tumors,benign tumors,calculi in the intrahepatic ducts,hydatid disease,and abscesses.Management of hepatic resection is challenging.Despite technical advances and high experience of liver resection of specialized centers,it is still burdened by relatively high rates of postoperative morbidity and mortality.Especially,complex resections are being increasingly performed in high risk and older patient population.Operation on the liver is especially challenging because of its unique anatomic architecture and because of its vital functions.Common posthepatectomy complications include venous catheterrelated infection,pleural effusion,incisional infection,pulmonary atelectasis or infection,ascites,subphrenic infection,urinary tract infection,intraperitoneal hemorrhage,gastrointestinal tract bleeding,biliary tract hemorrhage,coagulation disorders,bile leakage,and liver failure.These problems are closely related to sur-gical manipulations,anesthesia,preoperative evaluation and preparation,and postoperative observation and management.The safety profile of hepatectomy probably can be improved if the surgeons and medical staff involved have comprehensive knowledge of the expected complications and expertise in their management.This review article focuses on the major postoperative issues after hepatic resection and presents the current management. | Shan Jin Quan Fu Gerile Wuyun Tu Wuyun | 2013 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,44: | 24 |

| 4 | Transcriptomic landscape regulated by the 14 types of bone morphogenetic proteins(BMPs)in lineage commitment and differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)are ubiquitously-existing multipotent progenitors that can self-renew and differentiate into multiple lineages including osteocytes,chondrocytes,adipocytes,tenocytes and myocytes.MSCs represent one of the most commonly-used adult progenitors and serve as excellent progenitor cell models for investigating lineagespecific differentiation regulated by various cellular signaling pathways,such as bone morphogenetic proteins(BMPs).As members of TGFb superfamily,BMPs play diverse and important roles in development and adult tissues.At least 14 BMPs have been identified in mammals.Different BMPs exert distinct but overlapping biological functions.Through a comprehensive analysis of 14 BMPs in MSCs,we demonstrated that BMP9 is one of the most potent BMPs in inducing osteogenic differentiation of MSCs.Nonetheless,a global mechanistic view of BMP signaling in regulating the proliferation and differentiation of MSCs remains to be fully elucidated.Here,we conducted a comprehensive transcriptomic profiling in the MSCs stimulated by 14 types of BMPs.Hierarchical clustering analysis classifies 14 BMPs into three subclusters:an osteo/chondrogenic/adipogenic cluster,a tenogenic cluster,and BMP3 cluster.We also demonstrate that six BMPs(e.g.,BMP2,BMP3,BMP4,BMP7,BMP8,and BMP9)can induce ISmads effectively,while BMP2,BMP3,BMP4,BMP7,and BMP11 up-regulate Smad-independent MAP kinase pathway.Furthermore,we show that many BMPs can upregulate the expression of the signal mediators of Wnt,Notch and PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathways.While the reported transcriptomic changes need to be further validated,our expression profiling represents the first-of-its-kind to interrogate a comprehensive transcriptomic landscape regulated by the 14 types of BMPs in MSCs. | Linghuan Zhang Qing Luo Yi Shu Zongyue Zeng Bo Huang Yixiao Feng Bo Zhang Xi Wang Yan Lei Zhenyu Ye Ling Zhao Daigui Cao Lijuan Yang Xian Chen Bin Liu William Wagstaff Russell R*Reid Hue H*Luu Rex C*Haydon Michael J*Lee Jennifer Moriatis Wolf Zhou Fu Tong-Chuan He Quan Kang | 2019 | Genes & Diseases2019,6,3: | 11 |
| 5 | Signaling pathways and targeted therapy for myocardial infarction显示文摘Although the treatment of myocardial infarction(MI)has improved considerably,it is still a worldwide disease with high morbidity and high mortality.Whilst there is still a long way to go for discovering ideal treatments,therapeutic strategies committed to cardioprotection and cardiac repair following cardiac ischemia are emerging.Evidence of pathological characteristics in MI illustrates cell signaling pathways that participate in the survival,proliferation,apoptosis,autophagy of cardiomyocytes,endothelial cells,fibroblasts,monocytes,and stem cells.These signaling pathways include the key players in inflammation response,e.g.,NLRP3/caspase-1 and TLR4/MyD88/NF-κB;the crucial mediators in oxidative stress and apoptosis,for instance,Notch,Hippo/YAP,RhoA/ROCK,Nrf2/HO-1,and Sonic hedgehog;the controller of myocardial fibrosis such as TGF-β/SMADs and Wnt/β-catenin;and the main regulator of angiogenesis,PI3K/Akt,MAPK,JAK/STAT,Sonic hedgehog,etc.Since signaling pathways play an important role in administering the process of MI,aiming at targeting these aberrant signaling pathways and improving the pathological manifestations in MI is indispensable and promising.Hence,drug therapy,gene therapy,protein therapy,cell therapy,and exosome therapy have been emerging and are known as novel therapies.In this review,we summarize the therapeutic strategies for MI by regulating these associated pathways,which contribute to inhibiting cardiomyocytes death,attenuating inflammation,enhancing angiogenesis,etc.so as to repair and re-functionalize damaged hearts. | Qing Zhang Lu Wang Shiqi Wang Hongxin Cheng Lin Xu Gaiqin Pei Yang Wang Chenying Fu Yangfu Jiang Chengqi He Quan Wei | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4: | 11 |

| 7 | Radial propagation of magnetospheric substorm-injected energetic electrons observed using a BD-IES instrument and Van Allen Probes显示文摘In cases where substorm injections can be observed simultaneously by multiple spacecraft,they can help elucidate the potential mechanisms of particle transport and energization,of great importance to understanding and modeling the magnetosphere.In this paper,using data returned from the BeiDa-IES(BD-IES) instrument onboard a satellite in an inclined(55°) geosynchronous orbit(IGSO),in combination with two geo-transfer orbiting(GTO) satellite Van Allen Probes(A and B),we analyze a substorm injection event that occurred on the 16 th of October 2015.During this substorm injection,the IGSO onboard BD-IES was outbound,while both Van Allen Probe satellites(A and B) were inbound,a configuration of multiple trajectories that provides a unique opportunity to simultaneously investigate both the inward and outward radial propagation of substorm injection.Indicated by AE/AL indices,this substorm was closely related to an IMF/solar wind discontinuity that showed a sharp change in IMF Bz direction to the north.The innermost signature of this substorm injection was detected by Van Allen Probes A and B at L-3.7,while the outermost signature was observed by the onboard BD-IES instrument at L~\0.These data indicate that the substorm had a global,rather than just local,effect.Finally,we suggest that electric fields carried by fast-mode compressional waves around the substorm injection are the most likely candidate mechanism for the electron injection signatures observed in the inner- and outermost inner magnetosphere. | ZONG QiuGang HAO YiXin ZOU Hong FU SuiYan ZHOU XuZhi REN Jie WANG LingHua YUAN ChongJing LIU ZhiYang JIA XiangHong QUAN Lin LIU Ying WANG YongFu | 2016 | Science China Earth Sciences2016,59,7: | 8 |

| 13 | The role of β18-β19 loop structure in insecticidal activity of Cry1Ac toxin from Bacillus thuringiensis显示文摘The β18-β19 loop in domain III of Cry1Ac toxin is unique among Bacillus thuringiensis Cry proteins. In this study, the role of the loop structure in insecticidal activity of Cry1Ac toxin was investigated. Alanine scanning mutations within the loop were initially generated and most mutants were over-expressed and reduced toxicity at different degrees, except mutant N546A that showed almost 2 times enhanced toxicity against Helicoverpa armigera larvae. Further mutagenic analysis of N546 revealed that a charged amino acid in this position would cause very unfavorable influence on insecticidal activity. In addition, the deletion of N546 led to protein instability because of destruction of the loop integrity. Besides, mutant W544F was much more toxic than W544Y, indicating that hydrophobic nature of the position was important for maintaining the stability and activity of Cry1Ac protein. | 20 | Extraordinary simultaneous enhancement of the coercivity and remanence of dual alloy HRE-free Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets by post-sinter annealing显示文摘Post-sinter annealing process plays an important role in the microstructures and magnetic properties of the Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets.In this paper,systematically investigated are the magnetic properties and microstructures of the as-sintered and post-sinter annealed Nd-Fe-B magnets with Pr-Fe-Ga boundary addition.Two choice consecutive annealing methods are adopted at high and low temperatures,namely the 1 st annealing at 880℃ for 2 h and then the 2^(nd) annealing at 440℃ for 3 h.It is exceptional to find out that both the remanence and coercivity are improved after 2^(nd) annealing process for this type of magnet.The coercivity is hugely increased from 10.09 kOe for the as-sintered sample to 17.19 kOe for the 2^(nd) annealed magnet,with a significant increment of 70.37%in coercivity.The extraordinary magnetic properties of B_(r)=14.44 kGs,H_(cj)=17.19 kOe and(BH)_(max)=51.08 MGOe are obtained for the designated Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets without heavy rare earth(HRE)elements manufactured by dual alloy method.The Curie temperature is monotonically decreased from 634 K to 602 K while the c-axis alignment degree is optimized after annealing.Microstructural observation and analysis indicate that the elemental distribution patterns are altered after the 2^(nd) annealing.The diffusion of the aggregate(Pr,Nd,Cu,Ga)-rich phase from triple junctions into the grain boundary regions is ascribed to the formation of thin and continuous grain boundary layer,which is critical to improve the microstructures and magnetic properties. | Qingfang Huang Qingzheng Jiang Jifan Hu Sajjad Ur Rehman Gang Fu Qichen Quan Jixiang Huang Deqin Xu Dakun Chen Zhenchen Zhong | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,11: | 3 |
