New mass loss kinetic model for thermal decomposition of biomass显示文摘Based on non-isothermal experimental results for eight Chinese biomass species, a new kinetic model, named as the 損seudo bi-component separate-stage model (PBSM)? is developed in this note to describe the mass loss behavior of biomass thermal decomposition. This model gains an advantage over the commonly used 損seudo single-component overall model (PSOM)?and 損seudo multi-component overall model (PMOM)? By means of integral analysis it is indicated that the new model is suitable to describe the mass loss kinetics of wood and leaf samples under relatively low heating rates (e.g. 10℃/min, used in this work). | LIU Naian FAN Weicheng R.Dobashi LIN Qizhao | 2001 | Chinese Science Bulletin2001,46,16: | 6

Disease severity dictates SARS-CoV-2-specific neutralizing antibody responses in COVID-19显示文摘COVID-19 patients exhibit differential disease severity after SARS-CoV-2 infection. It is currently unknown as to the correlation between the magnitude of neutralizing antibody(NAb)responses and the disease severity in COVID-19 patients. In a cohort of 59 recovered patients with disease severity including severe, moderate, mild, and asymptomatic,we observed the positive correlation between serum neutralizing capacity and disease severity,in particular, the highest NAb capacity in sera from the patients with severe disease, while a lack of ability of asymptomatic patients to mount competent NAbs.Furthermore, the compositions of NAb subtypes were also different between recovered patients with severe symptoms and with mild-tomoderate symptoms. These results reveal the tremendous heterogeneity of SARS-CoV-2-specific NAb responses and their correlations to disease severity, highlighting the needs of future vaccination in COVID-19 patients recovered from asymptomatic or mild illness. | Xiangyu Chen Zhiwei Pan Shuai Yue Fei Yu Junsong Zhang Yang Yang Ren Li Bingfeng Liu Xiaofan Yang Leiqiong Gao Zhirong Li Yao Lin Qizhao Huang Lifan Xu Jianfang Tang Li Hu Jing Zhao Pinghuang Liu Guozhong Zhang Yaokai Chen Kai Deng Lilin Ye | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 1

A potent human monoclonal antibody with pan-neutralizing activities directly dislocates S trimer of SARS-CoV-2 through binding both up and down forms of RBD显示文摘The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has caused a global pandemic of novel coronavirus disease(COVID-19).The neutralizing monoclonal antibodies(mAbs)targeting the receptor-binding domain(RBD)of SARS-CoV-2 are among the most promising strategies to prevent and treat COVID-19.However,SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern(VOCs)profoundly reduced the efficacies of most of mAbs and vaccines approved for clinical use.Herein,we demonstrated mAb 35B5 efficiently neutralizes both wild-type(WT)SARS-CoV-2 and VOCs. | Xiaofei Wang Ao Hu Xiangyu Chen Yixin Zhang Fei Yu Shuai Yue Arong Li Junsong Zhang Zhiwei Pan Yang Yang Yao Lin Leiqiong Gao Jing Zhou Jing Zhao Fang Li Yaling Shi Feng Huang Xiaofan Yang Yi Peng Luoyang Tu Huan Zhang Huanying Zheng Jun He Hui Zhang Lifan Xu Qizhao Huang Yongqun Zhu Kai Deng Lilin Ye | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,5: | 1
Direct observations of reaction zone structure in shock-induced ignition of methane air mixture显示文摘Ignition of methane/air mixture by the passage of a shock wave is an important issue for understanding more details ofits gaseous detonation. The experiments of shock-induced ignition of stoichiometric methane/air mixture were conducted on a shock tube platform. The reaction zone structure in weak and strong ignition cases were investigated by digital chemiluminescence imaging and planar laser induced fluorescence(PLIF) techniques.Due to smaller gradients in induced time in weak ignition, which provided more time to nonlinear chemical reaction process, the results show that the reaction structures are highly nonuniform in those weak ignition cases, which become more regular while induced shock waves become stronger. In strong ignition case,it gives a typical detonation structure. The characteristics of reaction zone released by single-pulsed OH PLIF technique agreed well with other experimental measurements in this paper and were also in accord with the conclusions of previous researches. The successful implementation of the PLIF system has explored a new high temporally and spatially resolved method for the study ofinteraction between shock wave and gaseous matter in shock tube. | WANG GaoFeng MA ChengBiao WANG BaoYuan LIN QiZhao | 2009 | Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,13: | 1
Experimental Investigation on Macro Spray Characteristics of Octanol-Biodiesel-Diesel Ternary Fuel Blend显示文摘This study investigates the spray characteristics of ternary blends composed of octanol, biodiesel, and diesel fuel.Experiments are conducted using six materials to examine the variation in spray characteristic and to verify and compare a previously established spray tip penetration model with a modified model. The results show that the addition of OB100(30%of octanol, 70% of biodiesel) improves the spray characteristics of the fuel. Specifically, the addition of 10% or 20% of OB100 leads to a slight increase in the spray tip penetration, average spray cone angle, maximum spray width, and the spray area of the fuel blend;however, further addition of OB100 causes a corresponding decrease in these parameters. Based on previous research, this study uses kinematic viscosity instead of dynamic viscosity and density to modify the prediction model of spray tip penetration. The modified model exhibits a better fit quality and agreement with the experimental data, making it more suitable for predicting the spray tip penetration of fuel blends compared to the Hiroyasu-Arai model. | Tian Junjian Qiu Zhicong Zhao Lifei Li Fengyu Hu Peng Lin Qizhao | 2023 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2023,25,4: | 0
Effects of Blending Long-Chain Alcohols with Jet Fuel on the Macroscopic Spray Characteristics显示文摘Long-chain alcohols were considered to be promising alternative fuels and fuel additives. This study was aimed at figuring out the influences of blending long-chain alcohols with jet fuel on the macroscopic spray characteristic. n-Butanol and n-pentanol were chosen as tested alternative fuels. A common-rail injection system was used to create high-pressure injection conditions. The Schlieren imaging system was used to capture spray processes. Results showed that with the addition of long-chain alcohols, the spray tip penetration and the peak spray tip velocity increased, whereas the spray cone angle and the spray area decreased. Comparisons between those macroscopic spray characteristics of AKB blends and AKP blends were also conducted. Compared to AKB blends, AKP blends showed similar spray tip penetration, larger peak tip velocity, smaller spray cone angle, and smaller spray area. | Li Fengyu Liu Yanju Huang Qifu Fu Wei Shi Weidong Lin Qizhao | 2019 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2019,21,4: | 0
