| 1 | Pseudo-noise preamble based joint frame and frequency synchronization algorithm in OFDM communication systems显示文摘Frame and frequency synchronization are essential for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) systems. The frame offset owing to incorrect start point position of the fast Fourier transform(FFT) window, and the carrier frequency offset(CFO) due to Doppler frequency shift or the frequency mismatch between the transmitter and receiver oscillators, can bring severe intersymbol interference(ISI) and intercarrier interference(ICI) for the OFDM system. Relying on the relatively good correlation characteristic of the pseudonoise(PN) sequence, a joint frame offset and normalized CFO estimation algorithm based on PN preamble in time domain is developed to realize the frame and frequency synchronization in the OFDM system. By comparison, the performances of the traditional algorithm and the improved algorithm are simulated under different conditions. | 8 | Hot-top direct chill casting assisted by a twin-cooling field:Improving the ingot quality of a large-size 2024 Al alloy显示文摘Microstructure inhomogeneity and negative segregation have long been challenges for large-size alloy ingots,directly affecting the downstream processing and final performance of products.Here,we used2024 aluminum alloy as a model alloy to propose a technique,named double-cooling field casting,i.e.,one 2024 Al alloy rod(Φ20 mm)at room temperature was introduced into the melt along the central axis of the hot-top with the protection of a thermal-insulation tube during the direct chill(DC)casting process of aΦ300 mm 2024 Al alloy ingot.The results show that the introduction of the same alloy solid insert has a remarkable influence on refining grains in the center region of the ingot,reducing negative centerline segregation and decreasing the depth of the center part of the sump.With the application of the 2024 Al insert,the mean size of equiaxed grains at the center part of the ingot decreased from1204±132μm to 721±69μm.The relative deviation of the Cu and Mg main solutes reduced from-0.062 and-0.054 to-0.03 and-0.024,respectively,and the sump depth decreased from 280 mm to242 mm.Moreover,the shape of the solidification front was changed from‘V’-shaped to‘W’-shaped.The ingot quality was thus improved,mainly arising from the dissolution of the cold 2024 Al insert at a proper position of the hot-top counteracting some latent heat of solidification of the ingot,dissipating the heat of the central part of the hot-top by conducting the 2024 Al insert to the outside,and providing extra-nuclei from the unmoltenα-Al particles of the insert. | Cheng Zhu Zhihao Zhao Qingfeng Zhu Gaosong Wang Yubo Zuo Qiangqiang Li Gaowu Qin | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,17: | 1 |

| 11 | Identifying miRNA-disease association based on integrating miRNA topological similarity and functional similarity显示文摘Background:MicroRNAs(miRNAs)are a significant type of non-coding RNAs,which usually were encoded by endogenous genes with about?22 nt nucleotides.Accumulating biological experiments have shown that miRNAs have close associations with various human diseases.Although traditional experimental methods achieve great successes in miRNA-disease interaction identification,these methods also have some limitations.Therefore,it is necessary to develop computational method to predict miRNA-disease interactions.Methods:Here,we propose a computational framework(MDVSI)to predict interactions between miRNAs and diseases by integrating miRNA topological similarity and functional similarity.Firstly,the CosRA index is utilized to measure miRNA similarity based on network topological feature.Then,in order to enhance the reliability of miRNA similarity,the functional similarity and CosRA similarity are integrated based on linear weight method.Further,the potential miRNA-disease associations are predicted by using recommendation method.In addition,in order to overcome limitation of recommendation method,for new disease,a new strategy is proposed to predict potential interactions between miRNAs and new disease based on disease functional similarity.Results:To evaluate the performance of different methods,we conduct ten-fold cross validation and de novo test in experiment and compare MDVSI with two the-state-of-art methods.The experimental result shows that MDVSI achieves an AUC of 0.91,which is at least 0.012 higher than other compared methods.Conclusions:In summary,we propose a computational framework(MDSVI)for miRNA-disease interaction prediction.The experiment results demonstrate that it outperforms other the-state-of^the-art methods.Case study shows that it can effectively identify potential miRNA-disease interactions. | Qingfeng Chen Zhao Zhe Wei Lan Ruchang Zhang Zhiqiang Wang Cheng Luo Yi-Ping Pheobe Chen | 2019 | Quantitative Biology2019,7,3: | 1 |

| 14 | Chiral AuCu heterostructures with site-specific geometric control and tailored plasmonic chirality显示文摘Rational design and construction of chiral-achiral hybrid structures are of great importance to realize the multifunctional complex chiral structures toward emerging technological applications. However, significant challenges remain due to the lack of fine control over the heterostructure. Here, we have developed a general bottom-up synthetic strategy for the site-selective growth of Cu nanodomains on intrinsically chiral Au nanocrystals. Chiral AuCu heterostructures with three distinct architectures were achieved by controlling the overgrowth of Cu nanodomains in a site-specific manner. The geometry-dependent plasmonic chirality of the heterostructures was demonstrated experimentally by circular dichroism spectroscopy and theoretically through finite-difference time-domain simulations. The site-specific geometric control of chiral AuCu heterostructures was also extended to employ anisotropic chiral Au nanoplates and nanorods as the building blocks. By virtue of the galvanic replacement reactions between metal ions and Cu atoms, chiral heterostructures with increasing architectural complexity and compositional diversity can be further achieved.
