1Ultralight X-type lattice sandwich structure(I):Concept,fabrication and experimental characterization显示文摘A new type of ultra-lightweight metallic lattice structure (named as the X-type structure) is reported. This periodic structure was formed by two groups of staggered struts in the traditional pyramid strurture, and fabricated by folding expanded metal sheet along rows of offset nodes and then brazing the folded structure (as the core) with top and bottom facesheets to form sandwich panels. The out-of-plane compressive and shear properties of the X-type lattice sandwich structure were investigated experimentally and compared to those of the sandwich having a pyramidal truss core. It is found that the formation of the 2-dimensional staggered nodes can effectively make the X-type structure more resistant to inelastic and plastic buckling under both compression and shear loading than the pyramidal lattice truss. 2Closed loop control design for the sense mode of micromachined vibratory gyroscopes显示文摘This paper presents a novel design method of force rebalance control for the sense mode of micromachined vibratory gyroscopes.Specific theoretical deductions are performed to identify a precise linear model of the open loop system of the sense mode,which is crucial for the PI controller design.The frequency responses obtained by experimental tests agree well with those calculated with the theoretical model,indicating the accuracy of the theoretical analyses.Experimental results demonstrate that the bandwidth of the closed loop is extended to 94.8 Hz from 2.3 Hz in the open loop and the quadrature signal is suppressed by about 64 dBV in the closed loop system.The overshoot and stable time in the step response of the closed loop system are measured to be about 15% and 35 ms,respectively.The mode-splitting gyroscope with the closed loop controlled sense mode achieves a scale factor of 41.0 mV/deg/s with nonlinearity of 0.09% and asymmetry of 1%,and a bias instability of 4.0 °/h with angle random walk of 0.171 deg/h1/2.HE ChunHua ZHAO QianCheng LIU YuXian YANG ZhenChuan YAN GuiZhen 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,5:10

4In-situ observations of damage-fracture evolution in surrounding rock upon unloading in 2400-m-deep tunnels显示文摘The damage-fracture evolution of deep rock mass has obvious particularity,which is revealed in 2400-mdeep tunnels by field tests.The evolution of the excavation damaged zone depth is consistent with that of the fractured zone depth.The ratio of the excavation damaged zone depth to the excavation fractured zone depth is greater than 2.0 in a rock mass with both high strength and good integrity,but less than1.5 in a rock mass with lower strength or poor integrity.Zonal disintegration in a rock mass with high strength and fair integrity is more likely to occur when it contains more than two groups of primary fractures in damaged zones.Fractures develop outward in zonal disintegration but are totally different from the single-zone fracture,in which the fractures develop inward,and it is the starting position of the fractured zone when the excavation surface of the middle pilot is 7–9 m close to the pre-set borehole and it stops after the excavation surface of the baseplate is 11–14 m away.The most intense evolution occurs around 2–4 m from the pre-set borehole in the sidewall expansion stage.The research results provide a reference for the monitoring scheme and support design of CJPL-Ⅲin its future construction.Haosen Guo Qiancheng Sun Guangliang Feng Shaojun Li Yaxun Xiao 2023International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,4:5

7Novel hierarchical structure of MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites for dramatically enhanced electromagnetic absorbing properties显示文摘In order to prevent the microwave leakage and mutual interference,more and more microwave absorbing devices are added into the design of electronic products to ensure its routine operation.In this work,we have successfully prepared MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) hierarchical composites by one-pot hydrothermal method and focused on the relationship between structures and electromagnetic absorbing properties.Supported by comprehensive characterizations,M0S_(2) nanosheets were proved to be anchored on the surface and interlayer of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) through a hydrothermal process.Additionally,TiO_(2) nanoparticles were obtained in situ.Due to these hierarchical structures,the MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites showed greatly enhanced microwave absorbing performance.The MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites exhibit a maximum reflection loss value of -33.5 dB at 10.24 GHz and the effective absorption bandwidth covers 3.1GHz(13.9-17 GHz)at the thickness of 1.0 mm,implying the features of wide frequency and light weight.This work in the hierarchical structure of MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites opens a promising door to the exploration of constructing extraordinary electromagnetic wave absorbents.Heng DU Qipeng ZHANG Biao ZHAO Frank MARKEN Qiancheng GAO Hongxia LU Li GUAN Hailong WANG Gang SHAO Hongliang XU Rui ZHANG Bingbing FAN 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,5:4
8A Self-Biased Low-Jitter Process-Insensitive Phase-Locked Loop for 1.25Gb/s-6.25Gb/s SerDes显示文摘The paper presents a fully integrated multiphase output low-jitter CMOS phase-locked loop for1.25 Gb/s to 6.25 Gb/s wireline Ser Des transmitter clocking. The self-biased bandwidth technology with simplified structure is applied to reduce the sensitivity to process variations. A differential Charge pump(CP) which is suitable for low power supply and process migration is proposed. An accelerator is built to avoid the disadvantage of great damping factor. Self-adaptive frequency dividers are used to improve power efficiency. 9Performance enhancement of sandwich panels with honeycomb–corrugation hybrid core显示文摘The concept of combining metallic honeycomb with folded thin metallic sheets(corrugation) to construct a novel core type for lightweight sandwich structures is proposed. The honeycomb–corrugation hybrid core is manufactured by filling the interstices of aluminum corrugations with precision-cut trapezoidal aluminum honeycomb blocks, bonded together using epoxy glue. The performance of such hybrid-cored sandwich panels subjected to out-of-plane compression, transverse shear, and three-point bending is investigated, both experimentally and numerically. The strength and energy absorption of the sandwich are dramatically enhanced, compared to those of a sandwich with either empty corrugation or honeycomb core. 10Three-point bending of honeycomb sandwich beams with facesheet perforations显示文摘A novel square honeycomb-cored sandwich beam with perforated bottom facesheet is investigated under threepoint bending,both analytically and numerically.Perforated square holes in the bottom facesheet are characterized by the area ratio of the hole to intact facesheet(perforation ratio).While for large-scale engineering applications like the decks of cargo vehicles and transportation ships,the perforations are needed to facilitate the fabrication process(e.g.,laser welding)as well as service maintenance,it is demonstrated that these perforations,when properly designed,can also enhance the resistance of the sandwich to bending.For illustration,fair comparisons among competing sandwich designs having different perforation ratios but equal mass is achieved by systematically thickening the core webs.Further,the perforated sandwich beam is designed with a relatively thick facesheet to avoid local indention failure so that it mainly fails in two competing modes:(1)bending failure,i.e.,yielding of beam cross-section and buckling of top facesheet caused by bending moment;(2)shear failure,i.e.,yielding and buckling of core webs due to shear forcing.The sensitivity of the failure loads to the ratio of core height to beam span is also discussed for varying perforation ratios.As the perfo-ration ratio is increased,the load of shear failure increases due to thickening core webs,while that of bending failure decreases due to the weakening bottom facesheet.Design of a sandwich beam with optimal perforation ratio is realized when the two failure loads are equal,leading to significantly enhanced failure load(up to 60%increase)relative to that of a non-perforated sandwich beam with equal mass.Pengbo Su Bin Han Zhongnan Zhao Qiancheng Zhang Tian Jian Lu 2018Acta Mechanica Sinica2018,34,4:3
11Strength optimization of ultralight corrugated-channel-core sandwich panels显示文摘Novel ultralight sandwich panels, which are comprised of corrugated channel cores and are faced with two identical solid sheets,subjected to generalized bending are optimally designed for minimum mass. A combined analytical and numerical(finite element) investigation is carried out. Relevant failure mechanisms such as face yielding, face buckling, core yielding and core buckling are identified, the load for each failure mode derived, and the corresponding failure mechanism maps constructed. The analytically predicted failure loads and failure modes are validated against direct finite element simulations, with good agreement achieved. The optimized corrugated channel core is compared with competing topologies for sandwich construction including corrugations, honeycombs and lattice trusses, and the superiority of the proposed structure is demonstrated. 13Framework Zr Stabilized PtSn/Zr-MCM-41 as a Promising Catalyst for Non-oxidative Ethane Dehydrogenation显示文摘Non-oxidative ethane dehydrogenation is a promising route to produce ethene.Herein,PtSn supported catalysts were investigated to achieve better ethane dehydrogenation performance by introduction of different Zr promoters,i.e.,framework Zr and ZrO_(2),to mesoporous MCM-41.In-situ XRD,TEM and CO chemisorption show that aggregation of metal particles and phase segregation of Pt_(3)Sn to Pt and PtSn_(3) at high temperature occur for PtSn/M,leading to bad ethane dehydrogenation activity.Strong interaction be-tween ZrO_(2) and PtSn species,as proved by XPS,results in restrained metal particles,which promotes the initial reactivity.However,Pt phase generated on surface is disadvantageous for the desorption of produced ethene as indicated by CO-IR and C_(3)H_(6)-TPD,and pyridine-IR and NH_(3)-TPD indicate strong acidity generated.Both deactivate the catalyst rapidly by deep dehydrogenation and coking.Moderate interaction between PtSn species and Si-O-Zr with much weaker acidity is formed when framework Zr is incorporated into MCM-41,which benefits the dispersion of metal particles,formation of Pt_(3)Sn/Pt species and stabilization of metal species from phase segregation.Outstanding initial ethane conversion and ethene selectivity of ca.99%were achieved for the optimal PtSn/ZrM,which is more coking-tolerant and stable by generating graphitic carbon mainly on support instead of active metals.Jisheng Xu Chengxiang Shi Shuguang Zhang Qiancheng Zheng Lun Pan Xiangwen Zhang Ji-Jun Zou 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,8:2
14Analytical design of effective thermal conductivity for fluid-saturated prismatic cellular metal honeycombs显示文摘A comparative optimal design of fluid-saturated prismatic cellular metal honeycombs(PCMHs) having different cell shapes is presented for thermal management applications. Based on the periodic topology of each PCMH, a unit cell(UC) for thermal transport analysis was selected to calculate its effective thermal conductivity. Without introducing any empirical coefficient, we modified and extended the analytical model of parallel–series thermal–electric network to a wider porosity range(0.7 ~ 0.98) by considering the effects of two-dimensional local heat conduction in solid ligaments inside each UC. Good agreement was achieved between analytical predictions and numerical simulations based on the method of finite volume. 16EXPERIMENTAL AND SIMULATED COMPRESSIVE PROPERTIES OF WORK-HARDENED X-TYPE LATTICE TRUSS STRUCTURES显示文摘The expanded metal sheets were folded with 11% work-hardening. These were subsequently used with resistance welding to construct X-type lattice truss sandwich panels having a core relative density of 0.17. The sandwich panels were tested in uniaxial compression and, for comparison, the method of finite elements was employed to simulate the measured compressive stress-strain curves. The peak compressive strength was 32% higher than that of pyramidal core sandwiches. 17Stability of phenolic compounds and drying characteristics of apple peel as affected by three drying treatments显示文摘To realize high-value utilization of discarded apple peel,this study investigated the effects of three selected commercial drying methods on drying kinetics,microstructure,color,phenolic stability and antioxidant capacity of apple peel.Apple peel was dehydrated by hot air drying(AD)at 75,65 and 55℃,heat pump drying(HP)at 65,55 and 45℃,and vacuum freeze-drying(FD),respectively.The results showed that HP was superior to AD and FD in terms of drying rate.In addition,HP at 65℃provided high-quality dried apple peel due to less browning and brighter appearance,the highest retention of total phenolics(29.35 mg/g)and the strongest antioxidant activities,with the highest ABTS and FRAP value of 127.15 and 219.57μmol TE/g,respectively.The content of the six major individual phenolics,i.e.caffeic acid,(-)-epicatechin,hyperoside,rutin,phlorizin and quercitrin,were found to be the highest in HP dried samples.Interestingly,the content of rutin was even increased after HP compared to the fresh sample.Considering drying efficiency,organoleptic quality and phenolic stability of the products,HP at 65°C is suggested for drying of apple peel.Qiancheng Ma Jinfeng Bi Jianyong Yi Xinye Wu Xuan Li Yuanyuan Zhao 2021Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,2:2
18Dose-dependent effects of apple pectin on alleviating high fat-induced obesity modulated by gut microbiota and SCFAs显示文摘Recently,pectin has been used as an alternative for commercial prebiotic products to modulate gut microbiota.In this study,the standard diet(Chow group)and high fat diet containing 0%(HF group),1%,3%,5%,8% or 12%(m/m)apple pectin(HF-P group)were offered ad libitum for 8 weeks to 4-week C57BL/6J mice(n=10/group).Results showed that body weight gain(R^(2)=–0.990),subcutaneous adipose accumulation(R^(2)=–0.930),serum triglyceride elevation(R_(2)=–0.879),acetate(R^(2)=0.955)and propionate concentration reduction(R2=0.985)were suppressed by pectin from 1% to 12%,indicating dose response to pectin consumption.Moreover,abundance of obesity-related bacteria Coriobacteriaceae,and pectin-degradating bacteria,Faecalibaculum,Ruminococcus were significantly increased with pectin dosage increased,and the R^(2) were 0.936,0.963 and 0.937,respectively.Besides,attenuations for colonic injury and liver steatosis were observed after adding 5% and 8% pectin,respectively.This study confirmed the dose-sensitive manner of pectin to alleviate HF-induced obesity by modulating gut microbiota and enhancing short-chain fatty acids production.Yuanyuan Zhao Jinfeng Bi Jianyong Yi Jian Peng Qiancheng Ma 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,1:1
19An experimental investigation on decoupling performance for a lateral axis micromachined gyroscope with varying environmental parameters显示文摘This paper carries out an experiment study of decoupling performance for a novel lateral axis micromachined gyroscope with varying environmental parameters. The non-ideal mathematical model for the coupling mechanism of the gyroscope is established through the gyro dynamic response matrix. The coupling components varying with ambient pressure and temperature induced by stiffness coupling,damping coupling and electrostatic force coupling are semi-analytically discussed. The overall coupling ratio is evaluated via experiments in the custom-built installation. The testing results show that the decoupling performance of the gyroscope is sensitive to the environmental parameters and all the non-ideal errors are determined as a function of ambient pressure and temperature. The coupling error varies from 0.05% to 0.25% within the pressure range of 100 Pa-100 kPa. The characteristics of coupling with temperature are measured from 20°C to 100°C with a variation from 0.35% to 0.41%. The results also indicate that within the range of measured ambient pressure and temperature,the minimum coupling ratio occurs at 100 Pa and room temperature. The overall performance of the gyroscope is tested under the pressure of about 2000 Pa and room temperature to achieve a relatively low coupling ratio. The scale factor is measured to be 7.8 mV(°) -1 s-1 with nonlinearity about 0.45% in the full-scale range of 600(°) s-1.
