1Potential Submarine Geologic Hazards at the Entrance of the Pearl River Estuary in the Northern South China Sea显示文摘The potential submarine geologic hazards were distinguished and categorized at the entrance of the Pearl River Estuary in the northern South China Sea, based upon the analysis of side scan sonar and sub-bottom profiler surveying data of about 2500 km long, in an area about 2000 km^2 around the Wanshan Archipelago. The data obtained in the survey has the highest spatial resolution by far, which could reveal more detailed distributions and characteristics of the geologic hazards than before. In the study region, three paleo-channels that were buried about 10–30 m below the seabed were found; more than 10 shallow gas areas were discovered. The sand waves found in the region were generally small and located near the islands, and twenty pockmarks found on the seabed were mostly concentrated to north of Zhuzhou island. There are also many man-made obstacles in the region, such as wreckages, pipeline, etc. In this paper we provide a detailed distribution map of the submarine geologic hazards in this region for the first time, and discuss their formation and harmfulness, which will provide a scientific basis for marine engineering construction, marine geologic disaster prevention and mitigation.ZHANG Zhiqiang WEI Zhiqiang HE Huizhong WEI Wei QIAN Libing LI Tuanjie 2016Journal of Ocean University of China2016,15,4:1
2Pre-judgment and Incomplete Allocation Approach for Query Result Cache显示文摘Query result caching is a crucial technique employed in search engines, reducing the response time and load of the search engines. As search engines continuously update their indexes, the query results in long-lived cache entries may become stale. It is important to provide the refresh mechanism to enhance the degree of freshness of cached results. We present a pre-judgment approach to improve the freshness of the result cache and design an incomplete allocation algorithm. We introduce the queryTime-to-live(TTL) and term-TTL structure to pre-judge the result cache. The query-TTL is used to pre-check the likelihood of a cache hit and term-TTL is applied to maintain all terms of the latest posting list. For the cache structure, we design a Queue-Hash structure and develop the corresponding incomplete allocation algorithm. The preliminary results demonstrate that our approaches can improve the freshness of cached results and decrease processing overhead compared with no pre-judgment approaches.QIAN Libing JI Zhenzhou FU Zhongchuan WU Qianqian SONG Guangjia 2016Chinese Journal of Electronics2016,25,6:1
3Nucleic acids analysis显示文摘Nucleic acids are natural biopolymers of nucleotides that store, encode, transmit and express genetic information, which play central roles in diverse cellular events and diseases in living things. 4MBD2 promotes Th2 differentiation in ovalbumin-induced CD4+T cells显示文摘Introduction:Allergen-specific CD4+T cells play a central role in autoimmune disorders, allergies and asthma, with Th2-type immunity being the typical functional response of CD4+T cells. This study aimed to investigate the role of MBD2 in regulating Th2 cell differentiation. Methods:Splenic mononuclear cells were extracted from C57BL/6 mice, and CD4+T cells were isolated using magnetic beads and confirmed through flow cytometry.Lentivirus was employed to construct MBD2-silenced CD4+T cells. In vitro experiments were performed to treat splenogenic mononuclear cells and CD4+T cells with Ovalbumin(OVA),and Th2 cell ratios and IL-4 levels were assessed using flow cytometry and ELISA.Results:The purity of the isolated CD4+T cells was 95.73%,confirming successful isolation of primary CD4+T cells.Compared to the control group, the Th2 cell ratio exhibited an increase in the Th2-induced group.Treatment with 5-Aza(concentrations,1-100μM)promoted Th2 cell differentiation and increased IL-4 levels.Notably, when combined with Th2 induction and 10μM 5-Aza treatment, silencing MBD2 further amplified Th2 cell ratios and elevated IL-4 levels in cell supernatants.Furthermore,OVA(concentration,200μg/mL)induced the differentiation of CD4+T cells into Th2 cells and increased IL-4 secretion.Interestingly, silencing MBD2 significantly increased the Th2 cell ratio and IL-4 levels in OVA-treated CD4+T cells. Conclusion:In summary,OVA promoted CD4+T cell differentiation into Th2 cells and enhanced IL-4 levels.MBD2 was identified as a mediator of Th2 cell differentiation in splenic-derived CD4+T cells, influenced by OVA or 5-Aza treatment.QILU PAN YAN JIANG LINQIAO LI XIAOJING DU QIAN HAN FEIXIANG LING ROU LI SHUYUAN CHU LIN MAI JIANWEI HUANG LIBING MA 2023BIOCELL2023,47,11:0
5Inhibition of MALT1 paracaspase activity improves lesion recovery following spinal cord injury显示文摘Spinal cord injury(SCI) is a devastating traumatic injury that causes persistent, severe motor and sensory dysfunction. Immune responses are involved in functional recovery after SCI. Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation 1(MALT1) has been shown to regulate the survival and differentiation of immune cells and to play a critical role in many diseases, but its function in lesion recovery after SCI remains unclear. In this paper, we generated KI(knock in) mice with a point mutation(C472 G) in the active center of MALT1 and found that the KI mice exhibited improved functional recovery after SCI.Fewer macrophages were recruited to the injury site in KI mice and these macrophages differentiated into anti-inflammatory macrophages. Moreover, macrophages from KI mice exhibited reduced phosphorylation of p65, which in turn resulted in decreased SOCS3 expression and increased pSTAT6 levels.Similar results were obtained upon inhibition of MALT1 paracaspase with the small molecule inhibitor‘‘MI-2' or the more specific inhibitor ‘‘MLT-827'. In patients with SCI, peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) displayed increased MALT1 paracaspase. Human macrophages showed reduced proinflammatory and increased anti-inflammatory characteristics following the inhibition of MALT1 paracaspase. These findings suggest that inhibition of MALT1 paracaspase activity in the clinic may improve lesion recovery in subjects with SCI.Hua Zhang Guodong Sun Xiaowei Li Zhen Fu Chengbin Guo Guangchao Cao Baocheng Wang Qian Wang Shuxian Yang Dehai Li Xichun Xia Peng Li Jing Zhu Wei Zhou Liangyan Zheng Jingxia Li Lei Zhang Jianlei Hao Libing Zhou Frederic Bornancin Zhizhong Li Zhinan Yin Yunfei Gao 2019Science Bulletin2019,64,16:0
