1高温连续干燥与干燥-通风联合对稻谷品质的影响显示文摘利用不同的干燥方式对稻谷进行干燥,降至安全水分含量12%(湿基),测定干燥后稻谷的整精米率(head rice yield,HRY)、脂肪酸值以及RVA特征值。结果表明:对于连续干燥作业,缓苏过程中存在一个临界缓苏时间,达到临界缓苏时间能显著提高整精米率,且干燥温度越高,该临界缓苏时间的出现越明显;但干燥温度高于60℃,且一次降水幅度不小于9.4%,缓苏温度与干燥温度相同时,通过延长缓苏时间,整精米率难以达到70%;对于干燥-通风联合作业,干燥温度高于60℃,且缓苏温度不低于干燥温度时,虽能保持较高整精米率(>72%),但稻米的RVA特征值(峰值黏度、最低黏度、崩解值、最终黏度、回生值)总体上随着干燥温度、缓苏温度的升高和缓苏时间的延长而增加,且存在一些波动,干燥温度、缓苏时间对其影响显著性低于缓苏温度。两种干燥方式的脂肪酸值都存在不同于恒低温干燥持续增加的变化趋势。杨国峰 周雯 Rose Prabin Kingsly Ambrose 夏宝林 仇红娟 刘强 张越 陈江 2014食品科学2014,35,17:13
2真空干燥-常压缓苏后稻米品质指标的相关性研究显示文摘以不同干燥温度、相对真空度为因素对稻谷进行真空干燥-常压缓苏实验,研究其干燥后稻米爆腰增率、整精米率及蒸煮质构品质变化,分析其相关性,并通过扫描电镜观察不同干燥条件对稻谷籽粒显微形态的影响。结果表明:干燥温度和真空度对稻谷干燥后爆腰增率及整精米率影响极显著(p<0.01)。干燥温度、真空度且二者交互作用对米饭质构特性有极显著影响(p<0.01)。经过对稻谷干燥后各品质相关性分析,得出稻谷爆腰增率与其蒸煮硬度、胶黏性及胶着性呈极显著的正相关性(p<0.01),稻谷整精米率与硬度、胶黏性、胶着性呈极显著负相关性(p<0.01),且二者均与弹性、咀嚼性及内聚性没有相关性。干燥温度越高,相对真空度越大,干燥速率越大,淀粉粒与蛋白质的结合度越小,结构越稀松,干燥裂纹越粗大,数量越多。刘兵 仇红娟 刘强 万忠民 杨国峰 陈江 Rose Prabin Kingsly Ambrose 2016食品工业科技2016,37,1:8

13Field assessment of straw pellet combustion in improved heating stoves in rural Northeast China显示文摘Straw pellets are widely promoted and expected to be a cleaner alternative fuel to unprocessed crop residues and rawcoal in rural China.However,the effectiveness of these dissemination programs is not well evaluated.In this field study,emission characteristics of burning strawpellets,rawcoal,and unprocessed corn cobs in heating stoveswere investigated in a pilot village in Northeast China.Emission measurements covering the whole combustion cycle(ignition,flaming,and smoldering phases)shows the promotion of improved heating stoves and straw pellets could reduce pollutant emissions(e.g.,SO_(2) and CO),but increase NO_(X) and PM_(2.5) emissions compared to the initial stove-fuel use pattern in the studied area.There is a significant variance in emission characteristics between different combustion phases.The normalized emission concentrations of the different stove-fuel combinations were higher than the limits in the Chinese national standard for heating stoves,indicating that the standard is not met for real-world emissions.Coal consumption was lower than official data.Household surveys were conducted to identify the barriers to fuel and stove access associated with existing promotion strategies,management,and policies.The pilot program was of the typical“subsidy-and-policy-dependence”pattern and was unlikely to be implemented on a large scale.Technological innovation,operational optimization,and proper policies considering the local socioeconomic factors are needed to sustain the promotion of biomass straw pellets and stoves.Yafei Liu Zhimin Li Emily Floess You Zhang Nicholas Lam Sylvester K.Mawusi Prabin Shrestha Xinghua Li Chunyu Xue Guangqing Liu 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,5:0
14民用方型蜂窝煤燃烧采暖的减排效果及经济性分析显示文摘采用低排放-低成本的洁净型煤取暖技术路径有效解决散煤燃烧取暖带来的环境污染问题,是现阶段实现我国欠发达农村地区清洁取暖的有效举措之一。系统评估了2种新型民用方型蜂窝煤配套专用炉具燃烧采暖的减排效果和经济性。结果表明,无烟煤方型蜂窝煤和烟煤方型蜂窝煤基于单位燃料质量的PM_(2.5)排放因子分别为0.09和0.43 g/kg、CO排放因子为51.61和38.35 g/kg、NO_(x)排放因子为0.72和0.63 g/kg。与散煤相比,PM_(2.5)可减排96.16%和81.64%、CO可减排85.15%和88.97%、NO_(x)可减排53.25%和59.09%。无烟煤方型蜂窝煤、烟煤方型蜂窝煤和散煤的固硫率分别为61.55%、70.76%和20.93%。相比散煤,方型蜂窝煤的PM_(2.5)、CO和NO_(x)排放较低,且具有较好的固硫效果,可有效减少SO_(2)排放。方型蜂窝煤取暖的减排效果不仅受燃料性质影响,其配套专用炉具的进料方式、燃烧方式、供风系统设计等对其减排效果也有一定影响。从经济性上看,由于方型蜂窝煤生产原料来源广泛,大大降低了生产成本,居民采用方型蜂窝煤取暖方式的运行费用与散煤取暖相近。方型蜂窝煤与其专用炉具组合燃烧稳定、燃烧效率高,减排效果较好,大幅减轻了用户冬季取暖的支出成本压力,为我国受经济条件限制不具备其他清洁取暖形式的北方农村地区燃煤清洁取暖工作提供了有效解决方案。李志敏 焦铭泽 PRABIN Shrestha 刘诚 薛春瑜 刘广青 2022洁净煤技术2022,28,7:0

16Genetic characterization of melon accessions in the U.S. National Plant Germplasm System and construction of a melon core collection显示文摘Melon(C.melo L.)is an economically important vegetable crop cultivated worldwide.The melon collection in the U.S.National Plant Germplasm System(NPGS)is a valuable resource to conserve natural genetic diversity and provide novel traits for melon breeding.Here we use the genotyping-by-sequencing(GBS)technology to characterize 2083 melon accessions in the NPGS collected from major melon production areas as well as regions where primitive melons exist.Population structure and genetic diversity analyses suggested that C.melo ssp.melo was firstly introduced from the centers of origin,Indian and Pakistan,to Central and West Asia,and then brought to Europe and Americas.C.melo ssp.melo from East Asia was likely derived from C.melo ssp.agrestis in India and Pakistan and displayed a distinct genetic background compared to the rest of ssp.melo accessions from other geographic regions.We developed a core collection of 383 accessions capturing more than 98%of genetic variation in the germplasm,providing a publicly accessible collection for future research and genomics-assisted breeding of melon.Thirty-five morphological characters investigated in the core collection indicated high variability of these characters across accessions in the collection.Genome-wide association studies using the core collection panel identified potentially associated genome regions related to fruit quality and other horticultural traits.This study provides insights into melon origin and domestication,and the constructed core collection and identified genome loci potentially associated with important traits provide valuable resources for future melon research and breeding.Xin Wang Kaori Ando Shan Wu Umesh K.Reddy Prabin Tamang Kan Bao Sue A.Hammar Rebecca Grumet James D.McCreight Zhangjun Fei 2021Molecular Horticulture2021,1,1:0
17Can glucose preservatives be avoided in blood samples?显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the effect of cooling of whole blood samples without an anticoagulant and glucose preservative on glucose and other commonly measured clinical analytes by serial measurements over a three hour period. Methods: Thirty healthy adult volunteers about 20-50 years old,from Kasturba Medical College,Manipal (2008) were the participants. After obtaining informed consent from each participant,blood was collected (2 mL each) in three vacutainers-one without the use of an anticoagulant and glucose preservative,one with sodium fluoride-potassium oxalate and the other with disodium ethylene diamine tetraacetic (EDTA). Automatic analyzer Hitachi was used to measure glucose and other common clinical laboratory analytes,every hour for three hours. Results: The refrigerated samples without an anticoagulant and preservative,showed slightly lower values of glucose as compared to fluorinated samples but difference between these groups was not statistically significant (P value> 0.05).Also cooling had no effect on other analytes except potassium.Conclusion: Fluoride preservative as a regular practice for glucose samples can be avoided if the samples can be processed quickly as fluoriated samples also show a marginal fall in glucose values.Prabin Gyawali Madhurima Mukherjee Rajesh Kumar Thakur Krishnananda Prabhu Anjali Rao 2009海南医学院学报2009,15,12:0
