| 7 | A new series of environment-friendly reddish inorganic pigments based on AFeO_(3)(A=Ln,Y) with high NIR solar reflectance显示文摘Environment-friendly pigments based on AFeO_(3)(A=La,Pr,Nd,Sm,Gd,Tb,Y or Yb)with high nearinfrared(NIR)reflectance were synthesised by a coprecipitation method at 1200℃.The Rietveld refinement analysis showed single-phase orthorhombic perovskite for all compositions.All pigments,which showed reddish hues,offered good colour stability after mixing these pigments in powder form with siloxane transparent paint and two different glazes.The powderepaint mixtures produced with GdFeO_(3),TbFeO_(3) and YFeO_(3) pigments have the highest NIR solar reflectance,reaching values of R=50%.The temperature shielding studies conducted using TbFeO_(3) pigmentepaint mixture for a roof coating yielded a reduction of 3.2℃ in comparison to a commercial pigment.Moreover,the glazes that were pigmented using GdFeO_(3),TbFeO_(3) and YFeO_(3) compositions also presented the most intense reddish colours.A study of the thermal and chemical stability of the pigment with the highest NIR solar reflectance showed good stability in both cases.The reddish pigments that were prepared can therefore be good candidates for use in different applications such as cool pigments or pigments for ceramic glazes at high temperatures. | Maria Fortuño-Morte Pablo Serna-Gallén Héctor Beltrán-Mir Eloísa Cordoncillo | 2021 | Journal of Materiomics2021,7,5: | 0 |
| 8 | Dose-efficient scanning Compton X-ray microscopy显示文摘The highest resolution of images of soft matter and biological materials is ultimately limited by modification of the structure,induced by the necessarily high energy of short-wavelength radiation.Imaging the inelastically scattered X-rays at a photon energy of 60 keV(0.02 nm wavelength)offers greater signal per energy transferred to the sample than coherent-scattering techniques such as phase-contrast microscopy and projection holography.We present images of dried,unstained,and unfixed biological objects obtained by scanning Compton X-ray microscopy,at a resolution of about 70 nm.This microscope was realised using novel wedged multilayer Laue lenses that were fabricated to sub-ångström precision,a new wavefront measurement scheme for hard X rays,and efficient pixel-array detectors.The doses required to form these images were as little as 0.02%of the tolerable dose and 0.05%of that needed for phase-contrast imaging at similar resolution using 17 keV photon energy.The images obtained provide a quantitative map of the projected mass density in the sample,as confirmed by imaging a silicon wedge.Based on these results,we find that it should be possible to obtain radiation damage-free images of biological samples at a resolution below 10 nm. | Tang Li JLukas Dresselhaus Nikolay Ivanov Mauro Prasciolu Holger Fleckenstein Oleksandr Yefanov Wenhui Zhang David Pennicard Ann-Christin Dippel Olof Gutowski Pablo Villanueva-Perez Henry N.Chapman Saša Bajt | 2023 | Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,6: | 0 |
