| 3 | Toxic effects of crude-oil-contaminated soil in aquatic environment on Carassius auratus and their hepatic antioxidant defense system显示文摘Under the indoor simulant conditions, toxic effects of crude-oil-contaminated soil which was put into aquatic environment on the young fishes Carassius auratus and their hepatic antioxidant system after a 20-d exposure were investigated. Results showed that the relationship between the mortality of C. auratus and the exposed doses could be divided into 3 phases: fishes exposed to the low dose groups (0.5-5.0 g/L) were dead due to the ingestion of crude-oil-contaminated soils in aquatic environment; at the medium dose groups (5.0-25.0 g/L) fishes were dead due to the penetration of toxic substances; at the high dose groups (25.0-50.0 g/L) fishes were dead due to environmental stress. The highest mortality and death speed were found in the 1.0 g/L dose group, and the death speed was sharply increased in the 50.0 g/L dose group in the late phase of exposure. The activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and glutathione S-transferase (GST) and the content of malaondialdehyde (MDA) in the hepatic tissues of C. auratus were induced significantly. The activity of SOD was increased and then decreased. It was significantly inhibited in the 50.0 g/L dose group. The activity of CAT was highly induced, and restored to a level which is little more than the control when the exposed doses exceeded 10.0 g/L. The activity of GST was the most sensitive, it was significantly induced in all dose groups, and the highest elevation was up to 6 times in the 0.5 g/L dose group comparing with the control. | 4 | A wheat integrative regulatory network from large-scale complementary functional datasets enables trait-associated gene discovery for crop improvement显示文摘Gene regulation is central to all aspects of organism growth,and understanding it using large-scale functional datasets can provide a whole view of biological processes controlling complex phenotypic traits in crops.However,the connection between massive functional datasets and trait-associated gene discovery for crop improvement is still lacking.In this study,we constructed a wheat integrative gene regulatory network(wGRN)by combining an updated genome annotation and diverse complementary functional datasets,including gene expression,sequence motif,transcription factor(TF)binding,chromatin accessibility,and evolutionarily conserved regulation.wGRN contains 7.2 million genome-wide interactions covering 5947 TFs and 127439 target genes,which were further verified using known regulatory relationships,condition-specific expression,gene functional information,and experiments.We used wGRN to assign genome-wide genes to 3891 specific biological pathways and accurately prioritize candidate genes associated with complex phenotypic traits in genome-wide association studies.In addition,wGRN was used to enhance the interpretation of a spike temporal transcriptome dataset to construct high-resolution networks.We further unveiled novel regulators that enhance the power of spike phenotypic trait prediction using machine learning and contribute to the spike phenotypic differences among modern wheat accessions.Finally,we developed an interactive webserver,wGRN(http://gffzzaeec8df70e7c4b21hwff6bcf9fxx6669b.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/wGRN),for the community to explore gene regulation and discover trait-associated genes.Collectively,this community resource establishes the foundation for using large-scale functional datasets to guide trait-associated gene discovery for crop improvement. | Yongming Chen Yiwen Guo Panfeng Guan Yongfa Wang Xiaobo Wang Zihao Wang Zhen Qin Shengwei Ma Mingming Xin Zhaorong Hu Yingyin Yao Zhongfu Ni Qixin Sun Weilong Guo Huiru Peng | 2023 | Molecular Plant2023,16,2: | 1 |

| 14 | Resilient Power Systems Operation with Offshore Wind Farms and Cloud Data Centers显示文摘To enhance the resilience of power systems with offshore wind farms(OWFs),a proactive scheduling scheme is proposed to unlock the flexibility of cloud data centers(CDCs)responding to uncertain spatial and temporal impacts induced by hurricanes.The total life simulation(TLS)is adopted to project the local weather conditions at transmission lines and OWFs,before,during,and after the hurricane.The static power curve of wind turbines(WTs)is used to capture the output of OWFs,and the fragility analysis of transmission-line components is used to formulate the time-varying failure rates of transmission lines.A novel distributionally robust ambiguity set is constructed with a discrete support set,where the impacts of hurricanes are depicted by these supports.To minimize load sheddings and dropping workloads,the spatial and temporal demand response capabilities of CDCs according to task migration and delay tolerance are incorporated into resilient management.The flexibilities of CDC’s power consumption are integrated into a two-stage distributionally robust optimization problem with conditional value at risk(CVaR).Based on Lagrange duality,this problem is reformulated into its deterministic counterpart and solved by a novel decomposition method with hybrid cuts,admitting fewer iterations and a faster convergence rate.The effectiveness of the proposed resilient management strategy is verified through case studies conducted on the modified IEEERTS 24 system,which includes 4 data centers and 5 offshore wind farms. | Shengwei Liu Yuanzheng Li Xuan Liu Tianyang Zhao Peng Wang | 2023 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,6: | 0 |
