1南美SLR监测的2010年智利8.8级大地震产生的地面位移显示文摘2010年2月27日,智利发生了8.8级特大地震,该地震使震中附近的地面产生了较大位移.德国与智利合作的卫星激光测距系统SLR-7405距震中仅约130km,其观测受到地震的影响.中国科学院国家天文台与阿根廷合作的SLR-7406系统距震中约600km,利用这两个SLR站的观测资料并结合全球SLR站的观测资料,在ITRF2000下解算了这两个SLR站点的地心坐标,发现两站的坐标都发生了不同程度的变化.SLR-7405站整体向西南方向发生了较大移动,在X,Y,Z方向上的位移量分别约为3.11,0.52和0.49m,SLR-7406站在3个方向上的位移量分别约为0.02,0.03和0.02m.由SLR这一独立的观测手段得到的结果可以为其他定位观测提供必要的外部检核.尹志强 韩延本 PODESTA Ricardo 刘卫东 PACHECO Ana ALONSO Ester ACTIS Eloy 黄东平 赵励民 王锐 夏金超 2011科学通报2011,56,2:2
2South American SLR stations monitoring ground displacement caused by the M8.8 Chilean earthquake of 2010显示文摘The M8.8 Chilean earthquake of February 27,2010 caused a large surface displacement near its epicenter.Satellite Laser Ranging(SLR) station 7405,cooperatively operated by Germany and Chile about 130 km from the epicenter was affected by the earthquake.Another SLR station,No.7406,operated jointly by the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and San Juan University of Argentina,was about 600 km from the epicenter.Combining the observations of these two SLR stations with global SLR station observations,we calculate the geocentric coordinates of the two stations based on ITRF2000.The results show that the coordinates of the two stations have changed by varying degrees.SLR-7405 moved substantially towards the southwest with displacements of about 3.11,0.52 and 0.49 m in X,Y,Z directions;the corresponding displacements for SLR-7406 are about 0.02,0.03 and 0.02 m.This solution,as an independent result derived from SLR observations,could provide an essential external check for other positioning techniques such as GPS.YIN ZhiQiang HAN YanBen PODESTA Ricardo LIU WeiDong PACHECO Ana ALONSO Ester ACTIS Eloy HUANG DongPing ZHAO LiMin WANG Rui XIA JinChao 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,8:1

5Is magnesium deficiency the major cause of needle chlorosis of Pinus taeda in Brazil?显示文摘Needle chlorosis(NC)in Pinus taeda L.systems in Brazil becomes more frequent after second and third harvest rotation cycles.In a study to identify factors contributing to yellowing needle chorosis(YNC),trees were grown in soils originating from contrasting parent materials,and soils and needles(whole,green and chlorotic portions)from 1-and 2-year-old branches and the first and second needle flush release at four sites with YNC on P.taeda were analyzed for various elements and properties.All soils had very low base levels(Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+)and K^(+))and P,suggesting a possible lack of multiple elements.YNC symptoms started at needle tips,then extended toward the needle base with time.First flush needles had longer portions with YNC than second flush needles did.Needles from the lower crown also had more symptoms along their length than those higher in the canopy.Symptoms were similar to those reported for Mg.In chlorotic portions,Mg and Ca concentrations were well below critical values;in particular,Mg levels were only one third of the critical value of 0.3 g kg^(-1).Collectively,results suggest that Mg deficiency is the primary reason for NC of P.taeda in various parent soils in Brazil.Antônio Carlos Vargas Motta Shizuo Maeda Valdécio dos Santos dos Santos Rodrigues Tamires Maiara Ercole Stephen Arthur Prior Ana Elisa Lyra Brumat Amanda Pacheco Cardoso Moura Julierme Zimmer Barbosa João Bosco Vasconcellos Gomes 2024Journal of Forestry Research2024,35,2:0
6Do protostellar fountains shape the regional core mass function?显示文摘The emerging massive binary system associated with AFGL 961 signifies the latest generation of massive star and cluster formation in the Rosette Molecular Complex. We present the detection of a compact cluster of dusty cores toward the AFGL 961 region based on continuum imaging at 1.3 mm by the Submillimeter Array. The binary components of AFGL 961 are associated with the most intensive millimeter emission cores or envelopes, confirming that they are indeed in an early stage of evolution. The other massive cores, however, are found to congregate in the close vicinity of the central high-mass protostellar binary. They have no apparent infrared counterparts and are, in particular, well aligned transverse to the bipolar molecular outflows originating from AFGL 961. This provides evidence for a likely triggered origin of the massive cores. All 40 individual cores with masses ranging between 0.6 and 15 M⊙ were detected above a 3 σ level of 3.6 mJy beam-1 (or0.4 M⊙ ), based on which we derive a total core mass of 107 M⊙ in the AFGL 961 region. As compared to the stellar initial mass function, a shallow slope of 1.8 is, however, derived from the best fit to the mass spectrum of the millimeter cores with a prestellar and/or protostellar origin. 9Evidences on adaptive mechanisms for cardiorespiratory diseases regarding extreme temperatures and air pollution:A comparative systematic review显示文摘The negative cardiorespiratory health outcomes due to extreme temperatures and air pollution are widely stud-ied,but knowledge about the effectiveness of the implementation of adaptive mechanisms remains unclear.The objective of this paper is to explore the evidence of adaptive mechanisms for cardiorespiratory diseases regard-ing extreme temperatures and air pollution by comparing the results of two systematic literature review(SLR)processes sharing the same initial research question but led by two research groups with different academic back-grounds working in the same multidisciplinary team.We start by presenting the methodological procedures and the results of the SLR triggered by the research group mainly composed by researchers with a background in ge-ography(named geographical strategy).We then compare these results with those achieved in the SLR led by the research group with a background in epidemiology(named epidemiological strategy).Both SLR were developed under the EU Horizon 2020 Project“EXHAUSTION”.The results showed:1)the lack of evidence regarding the effectiveness of adaptation measures,namely due to the limited number of studies about the topic,the prepon-derance of studies dedicated to heat extremes or the unbalance between different adaptation measures;2)that the choice of search terms in the geographical strategy,despite being more comprehensive at first sight,ended up retrieving less results,but it brought new studies that can complement the results of the epidemiological strategy.Therefore,it is suggested that to strengthen the empirical evidence of the effectiveness of adaptation measures,powerful multidisciplinary teams should work together in the preparation of SLR in topics of great complexity,such as the one presented in this paper.Helena Madureira Maria Pacheco Carlos Sousa Ana Monteiro Francesca De’-Donato Manuela De-Sario 2021Geography and Sustainability2021,2,3:0
10Genoprotection and metabolic benefits of marine macroalgae-Insights into the concept of functional foods through direct and indirect consumption显示文摘The consumption of marine macroalgae has been linked with health benefits,albeit some actions,including genoprotection,remain underexplored.Hence,we evaluated the genoprotective potential of a mixture of Ulva rigida,Fucus vesiculosus and Gracilaria gracilis,through direct consumption or via indirect intake using fish(Sparus aurata)as a vector of algal phytocompounds.Mice(Mus musculus)were subjected to a 1-month dietary supplementation with 5%of macroalgae mix or 10%of fillet of fish previously fed with an algae-supplemented aquafeed(for comparison purposes,10%supplementation with fillet of fish standardly fed was also considered).Thereafter,mice were challenged by the genotoxicant methyl methanesulfonate(MMS),and the genetic damage was evaluated through the micronuclei test.Complementarily,a wider evaluation was carried out encompassing the assessment of energy metabolism,haematological and histological parameters,as well as growth performance.Macroalgae unequivocally protected against MMS-induced genotoxicity.The activity profile of hepatic lactate and isocitrate dehydrogenases promoted by the supplemented diets reflected an improved energy balance.Genoprotection properties were not transferred via fish fed with the algae-supplemented aquafeed,though the transference of phytocomponents with beneficial properties(viz.energy balance improvement)should not be disregarded.Overall,these findings highlighted the genoprotection afforded by marine macroalgae,likely promoted by desmutagenic factors,reinforcing their definition as functional food.The possibility of using fish as an indirect source of algae-borne phytocomponents proved to be plausible and worthy of further investigations.Ana Marques João Ferreira Ana Cerqueda-Pacheco Vitória Pereira Helena Abreu Rui Pereira Maria João Pires Fernanda Seixas Paula Oliveira Isabel Gaivão Mário Pacheco 2022Food Bioscience2022,47,3:0
11Effect of proteases on water-soluble and fat-soluble aroma precursors of goat visceras protein hydrolysate显示文摘This study investigated the action of proteolytic enzymes in the production of goat viscera hydrolysates,and their flavoring potential.The study focus the production of flavor precursor molecules and the formation of volatile compounds resulting from four hydrolysis treatments:HA-Alcalase®,HF-Flavourzyme®,HN-Neutrase®,and HFN-Flavourzyme® and Neutrase®.The highest degree of hydrolysis (26.74%),number (23 volatiles) and concentration of volatile compounds (274.0 μg/L) were obtained with the action of Alcalase.The main classes of volatile compounds identified in hydrolysates included acids,aldehydes,pyrazines,terpenes and Streacker aldehydes.Amino acids,sugars and fatty acids were identified with higher concentrations in HF and HFN hydrolysates due to the low participation of these precursors in the formation of volatile compounds.Therefore,the use of Alcalase in the proteolysis of goat viscera stood out compared to other enzymes,providing impacting aroma compounds,such as pyrazines,for meat flavor.Ana Rita Ribeiro de Araújo Cordeiro Lorena Lucena de Medeiros Lary de Souza Olegário Leila Moreira de Carvalho Taliana Kenia Alencar Bezerra Maria Teresa Bertoldo Pacheco Mércia de Sousa Galvão Marta Suely Madruga 2022Food Bioscience2022,47,3:0
