1Cardiovascular co-morbidity in chronic kidney disease:Current knowledge and future research needs显示文摘Chronic kidney disease(CKD) is recognised as a health concern globally and leads to high rates of morbidity,mortality and healthcare expenditure.CKD is itself an independent risk factor for unfavorable health outcomes that include cardiovascular disease(CVD).Coronary artery disease is the primary type of CVD in CKD patients and a significant cause of death among renal transplant patients.Traditional and non-traditional risk factors for CVD exist in patients with CKD.Traditional factors include smoking,hypertension,dyslipidemia and diabetes which are highly prevalent in CKD patients.Non-traditional risk factors of CKD are mainly uraemiaspecific and increase in prevalence as kidney function declines.Some examples of uraemia-specific risk factors that have been well documented include low levels of haemoglobin,albuminuria,and abnormal bone and mineral metabolism.Therapeutic interventions targeted at more traditional risk factors which contribute to CVD,have not had the desired effect on lowering CVD events and mortality in those suffering with CKD.Future research is warranted to delineate clear evidence to the benefit of modifying non-traditional risk factors.Hudaifa Alani Asad Tamimi Nihad Tamimi 2014World Journal of Nephrology2014,3,4:8
2Taguchi正交法优化奥沙利铂长循环脂质体的制备显示文摘目的通过优化奥沙利铂(L-OHP)长循环脂质体的制备工艺,以提高其包封率(entrapment efficiency,EE%)并达到缓释效果。方法采用Taguchi正交法L9(34)(TOA),以包封率作为考察指标并采用超滤法检测包封率。考察了L-OHP脂质体的粒径、zeta电位、形态以及体外释放行为。结果药物与脂质间的比例(W/W),胆固醇与磷脂酰胆碱的比值(M/M)和超声时间是影响最大的三个因素(P<0.05)。此外,优化后的奥沙利铂脂质体经mPEG修饰后与未修饰的奥沙利铂脂质体相比较,具有更好的物理化学特性,其粒径为(204±1.1)nm,包封率高达25.40%±2.5%。修饰后的脂质体在透射电子显微镜下呈现球形结构,具有较大的内部空间,脂质体表面可见白色mPEG层状结构。经mPEG修饰的奥沙利铂脂质体相比于未修饰的脂质体,具有更低的体外释放速率,具有一定缓释能力。修饰与未修饰的脂质体以及奥沙利铂溶液均符合一级释放模型,拟合系数为0.990 2。结论经Taguchi正交法优化后的奥沙利铂长循环脂质体可作为一种新型的肿瘤靶向药物传递系统。Cheraga Nihad 沈雁 涂家生 2014药学研究2014,33,4:5
3Effectiveness of hepatitis B virus vaccination program in Egypt:Multicenter national project显示文摘AIM:To assess the effectiveness of hepatitis B virus(HBV) vaccination program among fully vaccinated children.METHODS:A national community based crosssectional study was carried out in 6 governorates representing Egypt. A total of 3600 children aged from 9 mo to 16 years who were fully vaccinated with HBV vaccine during infancy were recruited. Face to face interviews were carried out and sera were evaluated for hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsA g),anti-HBV core antibodies(total) and quantitative detection of hepatitis B surface antibody using enzyme linked immunoassays techniques. Samples positive to HBs Ag/anti-HBV core antibodies were subjected to quantitative HBV-DNA detection by real time polymerase chain reaction with 3.8 IU/L detection limit. RESULTS:Sero-protection was detected among 2059 children(57.2%) with geometric mean titers 75.4 ± 3.6 IU/L compared to 3.1 ± 2.1 IU/L among nonseroprotected children. Multivariate logistic analysis revealed that older age and female gender were the significant predicting variables for having non seroprotective level,with adjusted odds ratio 3.3,9.1and 14.2 among children aged 5 to < 10,10 to < 15 and ≥ 15 years respectively compared to those < 5 years and 1.1 among girls compared to boys with P < 0.01. HBs Ag was positive in 0.11% and breakthrough infection was 0.36% and 0.39% depending on positivity of anti-HBc and DNA detection respectively. The prevalence of HBV infection was significantly higher among children aged ≥ 7 years(0.59%) compared to 0.07% among younger children with odds ratio equal to 8.4(95%CI:1.1-64.2) and P < 0.01.The prevalence was higher among girls(0.48%) than boys(0.29%) with P > 0.05. 9Physical and geometrical parameters of CVBS Ⅺ: Cou 1511(HIP 12552)显示文摘Model atmospheres of the close visual binary star Cou 1511(HIP 12552) are constructed using grids of Kuruz's blanketed models to build the individual synthetic spectral energy distributions(SEDs) for both components. These synthetic SEDs are combined together for the entire system and compared with the observational one following Al-Wardat's complex method for analyzing close visual binary stars. The entire observational SED of the system is used as a reference for comparison between the synthetic SED and the observed one. The parameters of both components are derived as:T_(eff)~a= 6180 ± 50 K,T_(eff)~b=5865 ± 70 K, log g_a = 4.35 ± 0.12, log g_b = 4.45 ± 0.14, R_a = 1.262 ± 0.08 R_⊙, R_b = 1.006 ± 0.07 R_⊙,L_a = 2.09 ± 0.10 L_⊙and L_b = 1.08 ± 0.12 L_⊙, with spectral types F8 V and G1.5V for components(a,b) respectively and age of 3.0 ± 0.9 Gyr.
