| 1 | 1979~2016年中国城市生活垃圾产生和处理时空特征显示文摘改革开放以来,随着我国社会经济发展?居民生活水平提高,城市生活垃圾与日俱增,其妥善处理是我国各级政府面临的重要环境管理问题之一.本文通过系统收集和整理1979~2016年我国城市生活垃圾产生和处理的政府统计及相关中英文文献数据,分析了我国城市生活垃圾产生和处理的时空演变特征,建立了全国与各地区城市生活垃圾物理组分数据清单.研究结果表明:1979~2016年我国城市生活垃圾产生量显著增长至2016年的2.04亿t,以厨余类为主要成分.全国城市生活垃圾无害化处理率达到96.6%,无害化处理方式逐渐转向为焚烧为主、填埋补充的技术格局.我国各地区城市生活垃圾产生量、产生量增速、物理组分、无害化处理率和处理能力等存在时空差异,各地区应因地制宜,结合国家专项规划,提高生活垃圾减量化和资源化水平,弥补无害化处理缺口. | 魏潇潇 王小铭 李蕾 刘璁 Nemanja Stanisavljevic 彭绪亚 | 2018 | 中国环境科学2018,38,10: | 83 |

| 3 | Detection of false data injection attacks using unscented Kalman filter显示文摘It has recently been shown that state estimation (SE), which is the most important real-time function in modern energy management systems(EMSs), is vulnerable to false data injection attacks due to the undetectability of those attacks using standard bad data detection techniques,which are typically based on normalized measurement residuals. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to develop novel and efficient methods that are capable of detecting such malicious attacks. In this paper, we propose using the unscented Kalman filter(UKF) in conjunction with a weighted least square(WLS) based SE algorithm in real-time, to detect discrepancies between SV estimates and, as a consequence, to identify false data attacks. After an attack is detected and an appropriate alarm is raised, an operator can take actions to prevent or minimize the potential consequences. | 4 | Hepatocellular carcinoma: From clinical practice to evidence-based treatment protocols显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is one of the major malignant diseases in many healthcare systems. The growing number of new cases diagnosed each year is nearly equal to the number of deaths from this cancer. Worldwide, HCC is a leading cause of cancerrelated deaths, as it is the fifth most common cancer and the third most important cause of cancer related death in men. Among various risk factors the two are prevailing: viral hepatitis, namely chronic hepatitis C virus is a well-established risk factor contributing to the rising incidence of HCC. The epidemic of obesity and the metabolic syndrome, not only in the United States but also in Asia, tend to become the leading cause of the long-term rise in the HCC incidence. Today, the diagnosis of HCC is established within the national surveillance programs in developed countries while the diagnosis of symptomatic, advanced stage disease still remains the characteristic of underdeveloped countries. Although many different staging systems have been developed and evaluated the BarcelonaClinic Liver Cancer staging system has emerged as the most useful to guide HCC treatment. Treatment allocation should be decided by a multidisciplinary board involving hepatologists, pathologists, radiologists, liver surgeons and oncologists guided by personalized-based medicine. This approach is important not only to balance between different oncologic treatments strategies but also due to the complexity of the disease(chronic liver disease and the cancer) and due to the large number of potentially efficient therapies. | 5 | Galectin-3 and IL-33/ST2 axis roles and interplay in dietinduced steatohepatitis显示文摘Immune reactivity and chronic low-grade inflammation(metaflammation) play an important role in the pathogenesis of obesity-associated metabolic disorders, including type 2 diabetes and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD), a spectrum of diseases that include liver steatosis, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH), fibrosis, and cirrhosis. Increased adiposity and insulin resistance contribute to the progression from hepatic steatosis to NASH and fibrosis through the development of proinflammatory and profibrotic processes in the liver, including increased hepatic infiltration of innate and adaptive immune cells, altered balance of cytokines and chemokines, increased reactive oxygen species generation and hepatocellular death. Experimental models of dietary-induced NAFLD/NASH in mice on different genetic backgrounds or knockout mice with different immune reactivity are used for elucidating the pathogenesis of NASH and liver fibrosis. Galectin-3(Gal-3), a unique chimera-type β-galactoside-binding protein of the galectin family has a regulatory role in immunometabolism and fibrogenesis. Mice deficient in Gal-3 develop pronounced adiposity, hyperglycemia and hepatic steatosis, as well as attenuated liver inflammation and fibrosis when fed an obesogenic high-fat diet. Interleukin(IL)-33, a member of the IL-1 cytokine family, mediates its effects through the ST receptor, which is present on immune and nonimmune cells and participates in immunometabolic and fibrotic disorders. Recent evidence, including our own data, suggests a protective role for the IL-33/IL-33R(ST2) signaling pathway in obesity, adipose tissue inflammation and atherosclerosis, but a profibrotic role in NASH development. The link between Gal-3 and soluble ST2 in myocardial fibrosis and heart failure progression has been demonstrated and we have recently shown that Gal-3 and the IL-33/ST2 pathway interact and both have a profibrotic role in diet-induced NASH. | 7 | Nitric oxide and tumour necrosis factor alpha in the process of pseudoexfoliation glaucoma显示文摘AIM: To establish the role of nitric oxide(NO), ascorbic acid and tumour necrosis factor α(TNF-α) in the pathogenesis of pseudoexfoliation glaucoma(XFG).METHODS: Our study included 120 patients who were referred for cataract surgery. All patients were divided into four groups according to clinical findings: XFG,early and late pseudoexfoliation syndrome(XFS), and cataract(without pseudoexfoliation). Serum and aqueous humour levels of the ascorbic acid, NO and TNF-α were measured. The concentrations of the ascorbic acid and NO were measured by an appropriate spectrophotometric method. | 10 | Extracting body surface dimensions from top-view images of pigs显示文摘Continuous live weight and carcass traits estimation are important for the pig production and breeding industry.It is widely known that top-view images of a pig’s body(excluding its head and neck)reveal surface dimension parameters,which are correlated with live weight and carcass traits.However,because a pig is not constrained when an image is captured,the body does not always have a straight posture.This creates a big challenge when extracting the body surface dimension parameters,and consequently the live weight and carcass traits estimation has a high level of uncertainty.The primary goal of this study is to propose an algorithm to automatically extract pig body surface dimension parameters,with a better accuracy,from top-view pig images.Firstly,the backbone line of a pig was extracted.Secondly,lengths of line segments perpendicular to the backbone line were calculated,and then feature points on the pig’s contour line were extracted based on the lengths variation of the perpendicular line segments.Thirdly,the head and neck of the pig were removed from the pig’s contour by an ellipse.Finally,four length and one area parameters were calculated.The proposed algorithm was implemented in Matlab®(R2012b)and applied to 126 depth images of pigs.Taking the results of the manual labeling tool as the gold standard,the length and area parameters could be obtained by the proposed algorithm with an accuracy of 97.71%(SE=1.64%)and 97.06%(SE=1.82%),respectively.These parameters can be used to improve pig live weight and carcass traits estimation accuracy in the future work. | Mingzhou Lu Tomas Norton Ali Youssef Nemanja Radojkovic Alberto Peña Fernández Daniel Berckmans | 2018 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,5: | 1 |

| 19 | In situ synthesis of potassium tungstophosphate supported on BEA zeolite and perspective application for pesticide removal显示文摘Potassium tungstophosphate is supported on BEA zeolite by in situ synthesis for glyphosate removal. Spectroscopic measurements identified hydrogen bonding as a primal interaction of potassium salt and BEA zeolite. Composites are evaluated for glyphosate herbicide removal and adsorption process is analyzed using two isotherm models. Obtained adsorption capacities for all prepared composites lay between 45.2 and 92.2 mg of glyphosate per gram of investigated composite. Suspension acidity revealed that glyphosate is adsorbed mainly in the zwitter-ion form at the composite surface while the amount of potassium salt in the composites is crucial for the adsorption application. Exceptional adsorption behavior is postulated to come from a high degree of homogeneity among surface active sites which is confirmed by different experimental methods. Temperature programmed desorption of glyphosate coupled with mass spectrometer detected one broad, high-temperature peak which represents overlapped desorption processes from active sights of similar strength.Introduction of potassium tungstophosphate affects active sites present in BEA zeolite for glyphosate desorption and significantly increases the amount of adsorbed pesticide in comparison to BEA zeolite. | 20 | Dynamic monitoring of carcinoembryonic antigen,CA19-9 and inflammation-based indices in patients with advanced colorectal cancer undergoing chemotherapy显示文摘BACKGROUND The roles of carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)and carbohydrate antigen(CA19-9)in monitoring the patient response to chemotherapy for metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC)are not clearly defined,and inflammatory indices,including the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio(LMR),platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR)and systemic immune-inflammation index(SII),have been sparsely investigated for this purpose.AIM To aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the kinetics of CEA,CA19-9,NLR,LMR,PLR and SII in serum and patient response to chemotherapy estimated by computed tomography(CT)in patients with unresectable mCRC.METHODS Patients with mCRC treated with a 1st-line and 2nd-line chemotherapy underwent at least 3 whole-body spiral CT scans during response monitoring according to the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumour 1.1(RECIST 1.1),and simultaneous determination of CEA,CA19-9,neutrophil,lymphocyte,platelet and monocyte levels was performed.The kinetics of changes in the tumour markers and inflammatory indices were calculated as the percentage change from baseline or nadir,while receiver operating characteristic curves were drawn to select the thresholds to define patients with progressive or responsive disease with the highest sensitivity(Se)and specificity(Sp).The correlation of tumour marker kinetics with inflammatory index changes and RECIST response was determined by univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis and the clinical utility index(CUI).RESULTS A total of 102 patients with mCRC treated with chemotherapy were included.Progressive disease(PD),defined as a CEA increase of 25.52%,resulted in an Se of 80.3%,an Sp of 84%,a good CUI negative[CUI(Ve-)]value of 0.75 and a good fraction correct(FC)value of 81.2;at a CEA cut-off of-60.85%with an Se of 100%and an Sp of 35.7%for PD,CT could be avoided in 25.49%of patients.The 21.49%CA19-9 cut-off for PD had an Se of 66.5%,an Sp of 87.4%,an acceptable CUI(Ve-)value of 0.65 and an acceptable FC value of 75.An NLR increase of 11.5%for PD had an Se of 67%and an Sp of 66%;a PLR increase of 5.9%had an Se of 53%and an Sp of 69%;an SII increase above-6.04%had an Se of 72%and an Sp of 63%;and all had acceptable CUI(Ve-)values at 0.55.In the univariate logistic regression analysis,CEA(P<0.001),CA19-9(P<0.05),NLR(P<0.05),PLR(P<0.05)and SII(P<0.05)were important predictors of tumour progression,but in the multivariate logistic regression analysis,CEA was the only independent predictor of PD(P<0.05).CONCLUSION CEA is a useful marker for monitoring the chemotherapy response of patients with unresectable mCRC and could replace a quarter of CT examinations.CA19-9 has poorer diagnostic characteristics than CEA but could be useful in some clinical circumstances,particularly when CEA is not increased.Dynamic changes in the inflammatory indices NLR,PLR and SII could be promising for further investigation as markers of the chemotherapy response. | Nebojsa Manojlovic Goran Savic Bojan Nikolic Nemanja Rancic | 2022 | World Journal of Clinical Cases2022,10,3: | 0 |
