2Physiological roles of mitogen-activated-protein-kinase-activated p38-regulated/activated protein kinase显示文摘Mitogen-activated protein kinases(MAPKs)are a family of proteins that constitute signaling pathways involved in processes that control gene expression,cell division, cell survival,apoptosis,metabolism,differentiation and motility.The MAPK pathways can be divided into conventional and atypical MAPK pathways.The first group converts a signal into a cellular response through a relay of three consecutive phosphorylation events exerted by MAPK kinase kinases,MAPK kinase,and MAPK.Atypical MAPK pathways are not organized into this three-tiered cascade.MAPK that belongs to both conventional and atypical MAPK pathways can phosphorylate both non-protein kinase substrates and other protein kinases.The latter are referred to as MAPK-activated protein kinases.This review focuses on one such MAPK-activated protein kinase,MAPK-activated protein kinase 5(MK5)or p38-regulated/activated protein kinase(PRAK).This protein is highly conserved throughout the animal kingdom and seems to be the target of both conventional and atypical MAPK pathways.Recent findings on the regulation of the activity and subcellular localization,bona fide interaction partners and physiological roles of MK5/PRAK are discussed.Sergiy Kostenko Gianina Dumitriu Kari Jenssen Lgreid Ugo Moens 2011World Journal of Biological Chemistry2011,2,5:8

4马铃薯金线虫的分子检测技术显示文摘本研究通过利用随机引物OPK-4对马铃薯金线虫和白线虫及甜菜胞囊线虫进行RAPD-PCR,供试马铃薯金线中5个群体能产生630bp的特异性的片段,将特异性片段进行测序后发现5个不同来源的马铃薯金线虫产生的特异性片段序列完全一致。根据测定的DNA序列设计出特异性探针,可有效地用于马铃薯金线虫的分子检测。葛建军 刁鹏 陈洪俊 Marice Moens 2008植物检疫2008,22,1:5
5Catalytic microwave assisted pyrolysis of aspen显示文摘The effect of catalysts on the microwave pyrolysis of aspen pellets was studied.A range of chlorides,nitrates and metal-oxides were added at 2%of the aspen mass(air dry aspen pellet weight basis).Chlorides in particular were found to favor liquid yield,especially the yield of water phase residue.Average liquid yield with added chlorides was 41%mass of the total biomass input,compared to 35%mass without catalyst.Metal-oxides were found to favor pyrolysis heavy oil,and thus total oil yield,since the yield of light oils seemed to be fairly constant.Nitrates were found to favor pyrolysis gas production.Pure light oils and light oils blended with diesel were found to be a potential diesel fuel substitute.Johannes Moen Changyan Yang Bo Zhang Hanwu Lei Kevin Hennessy Yiqin Wan Zhiping Le Yuhuan Liu Paul Chen Roger Ruan 2009International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2009,2,4:5

9河北省异小杆类昆虫病原线虫种类鉴定显示文摘结合形态与分子生物学特征对从河北省分离的40个异小杆类昆虫病原线虫种群进行鉴定,其主要形态特征(4个典型种群平均值):侵染性幼虫体长=550(520~610)μm,体宽=22.2(20~24)μm,尾长=85.7(80~88)μm,E%=112.5%(105%~119%);雄虫交合刺长度=36.8(33.75~39.0)μm,引带长度=17.9(16.3~20.0)μm,GS%=0.49(0.41~0.59),SW=1.25(1.15~1.43),与嗜菌异小杆线虫Heterorhabditis bacteriophora形态特征相近.经对其中二个典型种群的ITS-rDNA测序,其ITS1-rDNA序列与已知种类H.bacteriophora的ITS1-rDNA序列相差小于1.2%,和H.argentinensis的差异小于1.5%,而与其他种类的差异则高达18.7%以上.综合其形态与分子特征,确定河北省的异小杆类线虫为嗜菌异小杆线虫.陈书龙 李秀花 Maurice Moens 2005华北农学报2005,20,5:3
10Missing data and the accuracy of Bayesian phylogenetics显示文摘The effect of missing data on phylogenetic methods is a potentially important issue in our attempts to reconstruct the Tree of Life. If missing data are truly problematic, then it may be unwise to include species in an analysis that lack data for some characters (incomplete taxa) or to include characters that lack data for some species. Given the difficulty of obtaining data from all characters for all taxa (e.g., fossils), missing data might seriously impede efforts to reconstruct a comprehensive phylogeny that includes all species. Fortunately, recent simulations and empirical analyses suggest that missing data cells are not themselves problematic, and that in-complete taxa can be accurately placed as long as the overall number of characters in the analysis is large. How-ever, these studies have so far only been conducted on parsimony, likelihood, and neighbor-joining methods. Although Bayesian phylogenetic methods have become widely used in recent years, the effects of missing data on Bayesian analysis have not been adequately studied. Here, we conduct simulations to test whether Bayesian analyses can accurately place incomplete taxa despite extensive missing data. In agreement with previous studies of other methods, we find that Bayesian analyses can accurately reconstruct the position of highly incomplete taxa (i.e., 95% missing data), as long as the overall number of characters in the analysis is large. 11Observations of the step-like accelerating processes of cold ions in the reconnection layer at the dayside magnetopause显示文摘Cold ions of plasmaspheric origin have been observed to abundantly appear in the magnetospheric side of the Earth's magnetopause. These cold ions could affect the magnetic reconnection processes at the magnetopause by changing the Alfvén velocity and the reconnection rate, while they could also be heated in the reconnection layer during the ongoing reconnections. We report in situ observations from a partially crossing of a reconnection layer near the subsolar magnetopause.
