| 1 | Low-noise 1.3 μm InAs/GaAs quantum dot laser monolithically grown on silicon显示文摘We report low-noise, high-performance single transverse mode 1.3 μm InAs/GaAs quantum dot lasers monolithically grown on silicon(Si) using molecular beam epitaxy. The fabricated narrow-ridge-waveguide Fabry–Perot(FP) lasers have achieved a room-temperature continuous-wave(CW) threshold current of 12.5 mA and high CW temperature tolerance up to 90°C. An ultra-low relative intensity noise of less than-150 dB∕Hz is measured in the 4–16 GHz range. Using this low-noise Si-based laser, we then demonstrate 25.6 Gb/s data transmission over13.5 km SMF-28. | 2 | Electrical and thermal transport behaviours of high-entropy perovskite thermoelectric oxides显示文摘Oxide-based ceramics could be promising thermoelectric materials because of their thermal and chemical stability at high temperature.However,their mediocre electrical conductivity or high thermal conductivity is still a challenge for the use in commercial devices.Here,we report significantly suppressed thermal conductivity in SrTiO_(3)-based thermoelectric ceramics via high-entropy strategy for the first time,and optimized electrical conductivity by defect engineering.In high-entropy(Ca_(0.2)Sr_(0.2)Ba_(0.2)Pb_(0.2)La_(0.2))TiO_(3)bulks,the minimum thermal conductivity can be 1.17 W/(m·K)at 923 K,which should be ascribed to the large lattice distortion and the huge mass fluctuation effect.The power factor can reach about 295μW/(m·K^(2))by inducing oxygen vacancies.Finally,the ZT value of 0.2 can be realized at 873 K in this bulk sample.This approach proposed a new concept of high entropy into thermoelectric oxides,which could be generalized for designing high-performance thermoelectric oxides with low thermal conductivity. | Yunpeng Zheng Mingchu Zou Wenyu Zhang Di Yi Jinle Lan Ce-Wen Nan Yuan-Hua Lin | 2021 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,2: | 5 |
| 3 | Investigation of X-1P coating on magnetic head to enhance the stubility of head/disk interface显示文摘Stable lubrication is essential to slider/disk interface of computer hard disk drive. Inertlubricant perfluoropolyether (PFPE) on magnetic hard disk in computer is still prone to catalyticdecomposition by Al2O3, which is one of the materials in slider. A partial fluorinated hexaphenoxycyclotriphosphazene chemical, X-1 P, was analyzed to research on its function to reduce the cata-lytic decomposition of lubricant. The surface free energy of X-1 P coated on head surface was alsoinvestigated. Contact start-stop (CSS) tester was employed to investigate the reflow effective ofX-1 P on lubricant PFPE. | 5 | Analysis of photoluminescence behavior of high-quality single-layer MoS2显示文摘The ability to tailor and enhance photoluminescence (PL) behavior in two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) such as molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is significant for pursuing optoelectronic applications.To achieve this,it has been essential to obtain high-quality single-layer MoS2 and fully explore its intrinsic PL performance.Here,we fabricate single-layer MoS2 by a thermal vapor sulfurization method in which a pre-deposited molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) thin film is sulfurized over a short period (for several minutes) to turn into MoS2.These as-grown MoS2 crystals show quite strong PL,which is about one order of magnitude higher than that of chemical-vapor-deposited MoS2.Temperature- and power-dependent spectroscopy measurements disclose the apparent influence of sulfur (S) vacancies on the PL behavior and the noticeable free-to-bound exciton recombinations in the luminescence process.The fact that PL intensity of the sample in vacuum sharply lowered down relative to in air reveals that the high PL is facilitated by molecular adsorption on S vacancies in air.And multi-channel decay processes coupled with S vacancies are revealed in the time-resolved PL spectroscopy.In our work,single-layer MoS2 with high PL is synthesized and its defect-induced PL features are analyzed,which is of great importance for developing advanced nano-electronics and optoelectronics based on 2D structures. | Lu Xu Liyun Zhao Yunsong Wang Mingchu Zou Qing Zhang Anyuan Cao | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,7: | 2 |

In this paper, considering the mobility of terminal devices represented as mobile multimedia users(MMUs) and the continuity of requests delivered by them, we propose an online resource allocation scheme with respect to deciding the state of servers in fog nodes distributed at different zones on the premise of satisfying the quality of experience(QoE) based on a Stackelberg game. Specifically, a multi-round of a predictably\unpredictably dynamic scheme is derived from a single-round of a static scheme. The optimal allocation schemes are discussed in detail, and related experiments are designed.
