1The role of gut microbiota(commensal bacteria)and the mucosal barrier in the pathogenesis of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases and cancer:contribution of germ-free and gnotobiotic animal models of human diseases显示文摘Metagenomic approaches are currently being used to decipher the genome of the microbiota(microbiome),and,in parallel,functional studies are being performed to analyze the effects of the microbiota on the host.Gnotobiological methods are an indispensable tool for studying the consequences of bacterial colonization.Animals used as models of human diseases can be maintained in sterile conditions(isolators used for germ-free rearing)and specifically colonized with defined microbes(including non-cultivable commensal bacteria).The effects of the germ-free state or the effects of colonization on disease initiation and maintenance can be observed in these models.Using this approach we demonstrated direct involvement of components of the microbiota in chronic intestinal inflammation and development of colonic neoplasia(i.e.,using models of human inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal carcinoma).In contrast,a protective effect of microbiota colonization was demonstrated for the development of autoimmune diabetes in non-obese diabetic(NOD)mice.Interestingly,the development of atherosclerosis in germ-free apolipoprotein E(ApoE)-deficient mice fed by a standard low-cholesterol diet is accelerated compared with conventionally reared animals.Mucosal induction of tolerance to allergen Bet v1 was not influenced by the presence or absence of microbiota.Identification of components of the microbiota and elucidation of the molecular mechanisms of their action in inducing pathological changes or exerting beneficial,disease-protective activities could aid in our ability to influence the composition of the microbiota and to find bacterial strains and components(e.g.,probiotics and prebiotics)whose administration may aid in disease prevention and treatment.Helena Tlaskalova-Hogenova Renata Stepankova Hana Kozakova Tomas Hudcovic Luca Vannucci Ludmila Tuckova Pavel Rossmann TomasHrncır Miloslav Kverka Zuzana Zakostelska Klara Klimesova Jaroslava Pribylova Jirina Bartova Daniel Sanchez Petra Fundova Dana Borovska Dagmar Sru˚tkova Zdenek Zıdek Martin Schwarzer Pavel Drastich David P Funda 2011Cellular & Molecular Immunology2011,8,2:47
2Distinct gut microbiota profiles in patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis and ulcerative colitis显示文摘AIM To characterize the gut bacterial microbiota of patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis(PSC) and ulcerative colitis(UC).METHODS Stool samples were collected and relevant clinical data obtained from 106 study participants, 43 PSC patients with(n = 32) or without(n = 11) concomitant inflammatory bowel disease, 32 UC patients, and 31 healthy controls. The V3 and V4 regions of the 16 S ribosomal RNA gene were sequenced on Illumina Mi Seq platform to cover low taxonomic levels. Data were further processed in QIIME employing Ma As Lin and LEf Se tools for analysis of the output data.RESULTS Microbial profiles in both PSC and UC were characterized by low bacterial diversity and significant change in global microbial composition. Rothia, Enterococcus, Streptococcus, Veillonella, and three other genera were markedly overrepresented in PSC regardless of concomitant inflammatory bowel disease(IBD). Rothia, Veillonella and Streptococcus were tracked to the species level to identify Rothia mucilaginosa, Streptococcus infantus, S. alactolyticus, and S. equi along with Veillonella parvula and V. dispar. PSC was further characterized by decreased abundance of Adlercreutzia equolifaciens and Prevotella copri. Decrease in genus Phascolarctobacterium was linked to presence of colonic inflammation regardless of IBD phenotype. Akkermansia muciniphila, Butyricicoccus pullicaecorum and Clostridium colinum were decreased in UC along with genus Roseburia. 3广州市不同类型水体轮虫群落结构的时空变动及与理化因子间的关系显示文摘轮虫是水体中重要的浮游生物类群,对环境变化敏感,是水生态系统中食物链及微型食物网的关键环节.于2015年夏季(7月)和冬季(12月)对养殖池塘、水库、广州城市湖泊、珠江河口及珠江河段水域的轮虫和理化环境指标进行了调查分析,共发现轮虫26属、76种,其中裂痕龟纹轮虫(Anuraeopsis fissa)在7月河流水体占绝对优势,但12月数量明显减少.冬季珠江河段和河口水体群落多样性指数与均匀度指数较夏季高,群落结构较夏季稳定.调查水体轮虫丰度范围为33~2625 ind./L,城市湖泊夏季丰度较高,冬季有所下降,而养殖池塘轮虫丰度在冬季有所上升.群落结构相似性分析(ANOSIM)分析表明,不同类型水体之间差异显著,尤以湖泊与河流差异性最大,广布多肢轮虫(Polyarthra vulgaris)在湖泊贡献率最高,暗小异尾轮虫(Trichocerca pusilla)其次;裂痕龟纹轮虫在河流贡献率最高,优势种丰度差异是造成湖泊与河流群落结构差异的主要原因.统计分析表明,轮虫丰度与叶绿素a浓度呈正相关.冗余分析与ANOSIM分析发现广布多肢轮虫在流花湖等叶绿素a浓度较高的静态水体中易形成优势;裂痕龟纹轮虫和角突臂尾轮虫(Brachionus angularis)在珠江河段等总氮和总磷浓度高的富营养化流动水体中易形成优势.综合轮虫群落结构和水质特征,广州市水体富营养化严重,耐污性轮虫种类多,应加强城市水生态系统保护和管理.梁迪文 王庆 魏南 Miloslav Devetter 杨宇峰 2017湖泊科学2017,29,6:14
4Laparoscopic approach to retrorectal cyst显示文摘Retrorectal cysts are rare benign lesions in the presacral space which are frequently diagnosed in middle-aged females. We report here our experience with two symptomatic female patients who were diagnosed as having a retrorectal cyst and managed using a laparoscopic approach. The two patients were misdiagnosed as having an ovarian cystic lesion after abdominal ultrasonography. Computer tomograghy (CT) scan was mandatory to establish the diagnosis. The trocar port site was the same in both patients. An additional left oophorectomy was done for a coexisting ovarian cystic lesion in one patient in the same setting. There was no postoperative morbidity or mortality and the two patients were discharged on the 5th and 6th post operative days, respectively. Our cases show that laparoscopic management of retrorectal cysts is a safe approach. 5Lunar-based Ultraviolet Telescope study of the well-known Algol-type binary TW Dra显示文摘By using the Lunar-based Ultraviolet Telescope(LUT) from 2014 December 2 to December 4,the first near-UV light curve of the well-known Algol-type binary TW Dra is reported,which is analyzed with the 2013 version of the W-D code.Our solutions confirmed that TW Dra is a semi-detached binary system where the secondary component fills its Roche lobe.The mass ratio and a high inclination are obtained(q = 0.47,i = 86.68°).Based on 589 available data spanning more than one century,the complex period changes are studied.Secular increase and three cyclical changes are found in the corresponding orbital period analysis.The secular increase changes reveal mass transfer from the secondary component to the primary one at a rate of 6.8 × 10^(-7)M_⊙yr^(-1).One large cyclical change of 116.04 yr may be caused by disturbance of visual component ADS 9706 B orbiting TW Dra(ADS 9706A),while the other two cyclical changes with shorter periods of 22.47 and 37.27 yr can be explained as the result of two circumbinary companions that are orbiting around TW Dra,where the two companions are in simple 3 :5 orbit-rotation resonances.TW Dra itself is a basic binary in a possible sextuple system with the configuration(1 + 1) +(1 + 1) +(1 + 1),which further suggests that multiplicity may be a fairly common phenomenon in close binary systems.Wen-Ping Liao Sheng-Bang Qian Miloslav Zejdat Li-Ying Zhu Lin-Jia Li 2016Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2016,16,6:2
