| 1 | Recycling of waste Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets by doping with dysprosium hydride nanoparticles显示文摘Recycling of waste sintered Nd-Fe-B permanent magnets by doping DyH 3 nanoparticles was investigated. The effect of the Dy H3 nanoparticles on the microstructure and magnetic properties of the recycled magnets was studied. As the DyH 3 nanoparticles additive increased, the coercivity of recycled magnet increased gradually. The recycled magnets with Dy H3 nanoparticle content between 0.0 wt.% and 1.0 wt.% maintained the remanence(Br), but, with higher additions, the Br began to decrease rapidly. The best recycled magnet produced contained 1.0 wt.% of DyH 3 nanoparticles when compared to the properties of the starting waste sintering magnet. | 2 | Regeneration of waste sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets to fabricate anisotropic bonded magnets显示文摘The waste sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets were regenerated as magnetic powders via manually crushing(MC) or hydrogen decrepitation(HD) to fabricate anisotropic bonded magnets. Effect of size distribution on the magnetic properties of the regenerated magnetic MC and HD powders was investigated. For the MC powders, as the particle size decreased, the remanence(Br) increased first, and then decreased again, while the coercivity(Hci) dropped monotonically. The powders with particle size in the range of 200–450 μm possessed the best magnetic properties of Br of 1.22 T and Hci of 875.6 k A/m. The corresponding bonded magnet exhibited magnetic properties of Br of 0.838 T, Hci of 940.9 k A/m, and(BH)max of 91.4 k J/m3, respectively. On the other hand, the HD powders with particle size range of 200-450 μm bore the best magnetic properties of Br of 1.24 T and Hci of 860.4 k A/m. Compared with magnetic properties of the waste magnet, the powders retained 93.9% of Br and 70.0% of Hci, respectively. | 4 | Radiofrequency ablation-assisted liver resection a step toward bloodless liver resection显示文摘BACKGROUND: Liver resection is currently the most efficient curative approach for a wide variety of liver tumors. The application of modern techniques and new surgical devices has improved operative outcomes. Radiofrequency ablation is used more often for liver parenchymal transection. This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of radiofrequency ablation-assisted liver resection.METHODS: A retrospective study of 145 consecutive patients who underwent radiofrequency ablation-assisted liver resection was performed. Intraoperative blood loss, need for transfusion or intraoperative Pringle maneuver, the duration of liver parenchymal transection, perioperative complications, and postoperative morbidity and mortality were all evaluated.RESULTS: Fifty minor and ninety-five major liver resections were performed. The mean intraoperative blood loss was 251 m L, with a transfusion rate of 11.7%. The Pringle maneuver was necessary in 12 patients(8.3%). The mean duration for parenchymal transection was 51.75 minutes. There were 47 patients(32.4%) with postoperative complications. There is no mortality within 30 days after surgery. CONCLUSIONS: Radiofrequency ablation-assisted liver resection permits both major and minor liver resections with minimal blood loss and without occlusion of hepatic inflow.
