1Wave-induced pore water pressure in marine cohesive soils显示文摘Cyclic triaxial tests and numerical analyses were undertaken, in order to evaluate the wave-induced pore water pressure in seabedsediments in the Hangzhou Bay. The cyclic triaxial tests indicate that the rate of pore water pressure generation in cohesive soilsdecreases with time, and the development of the pore water pressure can be represented by a hyperbolic curve. Numerical analyses,taking into account the generation and dissipation of pore water pressure simultaneously, suggest that the pore water pressure buildupin cohesive soils may increase with time continuously until the pore water pressure ratio approaches to 1, or it may decrease after acertain time, which is controlled by drain conditions. These phenomena are different from those in sands. 3Highly sensitive response to dopamine at a modified electrode involving a composite film with Au nanoparticles dispersed in a fluorocarbon polymer显示文摘A new approach for the highly sensitive detection of dopamine by a novel composite film involving gold nanoparticles trapped in a negatively-charged fluorocarbon polymer (Nafion) on a glassy carbon (GC) electrode fabricated by a simple method is described. Gold nanoparticles with an average diameter of 2.3 nm ± 0.2 nm are dispersed throughout the whole Nafion film. The introduction of gold nanoparticles into the Nafion film not only gives a highly active electrode surface area but also increases the conductivity of the Nafion film and the resulting Au/Nafion/GC electrode combines the advantages of the properties of gold nanoparticles and the selective pre-concentration ability of Nafion. For positively charged dopamine, the results show a decrease in the redox peak separation and a high sensitivity. The oxidation peak current of dopamine was shown to vary linearly with dopamine concentration over a wide range from 0.4 to 50.0 μmol/L with a detection limit of 0.3 μmol/L. 15Quantitative assessment of sensory functions after 3 surgical approaches for trigeminal neuralgia by current perception threshold measurement显示文摘Objective: To quantitatively identify and grade trigeminal sensory functions after 3 major surgical procedures of trigeminal neuralgia using a newly developed quantitative sensory testing technique, current perception threshold measurement (CPTM). Methods: In the current study, there were 48 trigeminal neuralgia patients without history of prior surgical treatment. These patients received one of the following 3 surgical procedures, microvascular decompression (MVD), peripheral nerve block with alcohol (PNB), or percutaneous radiofrequency thermocoagulation (PRFT). The quantitative sensory testing measurement, CPTM, and conventional qualitative sensory testing measurements were performed preoperatively and postoperatively to evaluate and grade the trigeminal sensory functions. All 3 major cutaneous sensory fiber types, large myelinated fibers (A beta), small myelinated fibers (A delta) and unmyelinated fibers(C) were allowed to quantitatively evaluate and grade by CPTM. The results of the measurements were statistically analyzed using a one-way analysis of variance (single factor). Each subject was his/her own control for comparison of the preoperative to postoperative state on the asymptomatic and symptomatic sides. Subjects were tested 48 h preoperatively and 4 weeks postoperatively. Results: PNB with alcohol and PRFT caused significant sensory dysfunction postoperatively in every fiber type, indicating damage to all fibers. On the contrary, the sensory function in all 3 fiber types was unchanged after MVD management. Conclusion: Among the 3 major surgical procedures tested, only MVD preserves sensory function in trigeminal system. 16Oxidation and detection of L-cysteine using a modified Au/Nafion/glass carbon electrode显示文摘In this work,the electrochemical oxidation of L-cysteine(CySH)was investigated on a composite film modified electrode with Au nanoparticles dispersed in the fluorocarbon polymer(Nafion).The excellent electrocatalytic effect on CySH oxidation was attributed to the role of Au nanoparticles.The voltammetric studies revealed two anodic peaks for the oxidation of CySH in the pH range of 2.0–8.0.The electrode was used to detect cysteine at pH 2.0 and pH 7.0.At pH 2.0,a determination range of 3.0–50.0?mol/L was obtained with the detection sensitivity of 22.7A/(mmol L1),while at pH 7.0,a determination range of 2.0–80.0mol/L was obtained with the detection sensitivity of 4.08A/(mmol L1).The detection limits were estimated to be as low as 1.0?mol/L at both pH 7.0 and pH 2.0.Additionally,at pH 7.0,the interferences of ascorbic acid and uric acid were reduced for the detection of cysteine.These made the Au/Nafion/GC electrode a promising candidate for efficient electrochemical sensors for the detection of CySH.WANG XueJi ZHANG LiLi MIAO LiXiao KAN MeiXiu KONG LinLin ZHANG HuiMin 2011Science China Chemistry2011,54,3:0
17Boosting bidirectional conversion of polysulfide driven by the built-in electric field of MoS_(2)/MoP Mott–Schottky heterostructures in lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Heterostructure engineering for sulfur hosts is an effective way to achieve interfacial synergistic effects on suppressing the“shuttle effect”of polysulfides and thus improve electrochemical performance of lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries.Rational selection and design of different components into heterostructures is vital to enhance the synergistic effect.Herein,MoS_(2)/MoP Mott–Schottky heterostructure nanoparticles decorated on reduced graphene oxide(MoS_(2)/MoP@rGO)are fabricated and used as sulfur host firstly.Theoretical calculation and experiment results reveal that the in-situ introduction of MoP could tune the electronic structure,activate the basal plane of MoS_(2),and achieve the interfacial synergistic effects between adsorption(MoS_(2))and fast conversion(MoP).Such synergistic effects enable MoS_(2)/MoP@rGO to not only remarkably facilitate Li_(2)S deposition during the discharging process but also significantly accelerate the Li_(2)S dissolution during the charging process,demonstrating bidirectional promotion behaviors.Thus,the designed cathode delivers initial capacity of 919.5 mA·h·g^(−1)with capacity of 502.3 mA·h·g^(−1)remaining after 700 cycles at 0.5 C.Even under higher sulfur loading of 4.31 mg·cm^(−2)and lower electrolyte to sulfur(E/S)ratio of 8.21μL·mg^(−1),the MoS_(2)/MoP@rGO@S cathode could still achieve good capacity and cycle stability.This work provides a novel and efficient structural design strategy of sulfur hosts for high-performance Li–S energy storage systems.Meixiu Song Yanan Liu Jingzhe Hong Xiaoshuang Wang Xiaoxiao Huang 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,10:0
18Enhancing anchoring and catalytic conversion of polysulfides by nitrogen deficient cobalt nitride for advanced lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘While lithium-sulfur(Li-S)battery has attracted remarkable attention owing to the high theoretical capacity,its practical application is still hindered by the shuttle and sluggish conversion kinetics of intermediate lithium polysulfides(Li PSs).Defect engineering,which can regulate the electronic structure and in turn influence the surface adsorption and catalytic capability,has been regarded as a feasible strategy to deal with the above challenges.However,few studies on nitrogen vacancies and their mechanisms are reported.Herein,cobalt nitride with nitrogen vacancies grown on multi-walled carbon nanotube(CNTCo N-VN)is designed and applied as the separator modification material to investigate the enhancing mechanism of nitrogen vacancies on Li-S batteries.The experimental evidence and theoretical calculation indicate that the introduction of nitrogen vacancies into cobalt nitride can enhance the chemical affinity to Li PSs and effectively hamper the shuttle effect.Meanwhile the reduced band gap of the d-band center of Co and p-band center of N for CNT-Co N-VNand the promoted diffusion of Li^(+) can expedite the solid-liquid and liquid-liquid conversions of sulfur species.Due to these superiorities,the cell with CNT-Co NVNmodified separator delivers a favorable initial capacity of 901 m Ah g^(-1)and a capacity of 660 m Ah g^(-1)can be achieved after 250 cycles at 2 C.This work explores the application of metal nitride with nitrogen vacancies and sheds light on the development of functional separators for high-efficient Li-S batteries.Min Luo Yu Bai Rui Sun Meixiu Qu Mengyuan Wang Zhanfeng Yang Zhenhua Wang Wang Sun Kening Sun 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10:0

20Hole‑Transport Management Enables 23%‑Efficient and Stable Inverted Perovskite Solar Cells with 84%Fill Factor显示文摘NiO_(x)-based inverted perovskite solar cells(PSCs)havepresented great potential toward low-cost,highly efficient and stablenext-generation photovoltaics.However,the presence of energy-levelmismatch and contact-interface defects between hole-selective contacts(HSCs)and perovskite-active layer(PAL)still limits device efficiencyimprovement.Here,we report a graded configuration based on bothinterface-cascaded structures and p-type molecule-doped compositeswith two-/three-dimensional formamidinium-based triple-halideperovskites.We find that the interface defects-induced non-radiativerecombination presented at HSCs/PAL interfaces is remarkably suppressedbecause of efficient hole extraction and transport.Moreover,astrong chemical interaction,halogen bonding and coordination bondingare found in the molecule-doped perovskite composites,whichsignificantly suppress the formation of halide vacancy and parasitic metallic lead.As a result,NiO_(x)-based inverted PSCs present a power-conversion-efficiency over 23%with a high fill factor of 0.84 and open-circuit voltage of 1.162 V,which are comparable to the best reported around 1.56-electron volt bandgap perovskites.Furthermore,devices with encapsulation present high operational stability over 1,200 h during T_(90) lifetime measurement(the time as a function of PCE decreases to 90%of its initial value)under 1-sun illumination in ambient-air conditions.Liming Liu Yajie Ma Yousheng Wang Qiaoyan Ma Zixuan Wang Zigan Yang Meixiu Wan Tahmineh Mahmoudi Yoon‑Bong Hahn Yaohua Mai 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,8:0
