2Crystal microstructure, infrared absorption, and microwave electromagnetic properties of (La_(1-x)Dy_x)_(2/3)Sr_(1/3)MnO_3显示文摘The manganite perovskite polycrystal samples of (La1-xDyx)2/3Sr1/3MnO3 (x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.35, and 0.5) doped with Dy were prepared by solid state reaction in atmosphere to measure their X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns, scanning electric microscope (SEM) images, infrared absorption spectra, and microwave electromagnetic properties. The displacement of the XRD peaks of the samples was found, and the 2θ increases from 0.05o to 0.5o. The grains of undoped La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 not only have the greatest size, but also the most regular shape. The size of the grains decreases as the Dy doping content increases from 0 to 0.5. The infrared absorption spectra of all samples were measured at room temperature. An absorption peak corresponding to the stretching vibration mode of Mn-O bonds appears within the range of 591-629 cm-1. The absorption peak shifts from a higher frequency to a lower one with the decrease of the average ionic radius of A-site. The frequency de- pendence of microwave-absorbing properties, imaginary components of the complex magnetic permeability μ' and dielectric permeability ε' for all samples was measured at room temperature from 8 to 13 GHz. The results show that the loss of microwave absorption can be attrib- uted to both the magnetic and electric losses. 4An insight into aggregation kinetics of polystyrene nanoplastics interaction with metal cations显示文摘Once inevitably released into the aquatic environment,polystyrene nanoplastics(PS-NPs)will present complicated environmental behaviors,of which the aggregation is a key process determining their environmental fate and impact.In this study,the aggregation kinetics of different sizes(30 nm and 100 nm)of PS-NPs with metal cations(Na^(+),K^(+),Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+)and Pb^(2+))at different solution pH(3,6 and 8)were investigated.The results showed that the aggregation of PS-NPs increased with cation concentration.Taking Pb^(2+)as an example,the adsorption behavior of cations onto PS-NPs was determined by transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and energy dispersive X-ray(EDX)spectroscopy,which demonstrated Pb^(2+)could be adhered onto the surface of PS-NPs with the effect of charge neutralization.The critical coagulation concentrations(CCC)of smaller PS-NPs were higher than that of larger PS-NPs for monovalent cations,whereas a different pattern is observed for divalent cations.It was suggested that there were other factors that DLVO theory does not consider affect the stability of NPs with different particle sizes.In addition,it should be noted that PS-NPs had the capacity of adsorbing large amounts of heavy metal cations and carried them transport to a long distance,and the corresponding ecological risks need to further elucidate.Yucheng Zhang Xiaotong Su Nora FYTam Xiaolan Lao Meiling Zhong Qihang Wu Huifang Lei Zihui Chen Zhang Li Jie Fu 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,12:1

6Atmospheric heterogeneous reaction of chlorobenzene on mineralα-Fe_(2)O_(3)particulates:a chamber experiment study显示文摘Despite the large emission of chlorinated volatile organic compounds(CVOCs)into the atmosphere,the ultimate fate of these compounds remains largely unknown.Herein,we explore the photochemical conversion of an important class of CVOCs,namely chlorobenzene(CB),on mineralα-Fe_(2)O_(3)particulates under atmospheric relevant conditions.A series of chamber reactions composed of the CB with/without SO_(2)or NO_(2)are performed,followed by in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy measurements and density functional theory calculations.We show that CB can be considerably degraded byα-Fe_(2)O_(3)under light irradiation,whereas the reaction is markedly suppressed by adding SO_(2)or NO_(2)owing to their competitive adsorption and surface acidification.In particular,we discover that CB can be ultimately converted into polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans(PCDD/Fs)under dark state or light irradiation,suggesting a possible origin of atmospheric PCDD/Fs from this overlooked photochemical source.Meiling Chen Mengjie Yin Yuetan Su Ruizhe Li Kezhou Liu Zhongbiao Wu Xiaole Weng 2023Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,11:0
7Xylanase improves the intestinal barrier function of Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus)fed with soybean(Glycine max)meal显示文摘Background Soybean(Glycine max)meal is one of the important protein sources for fish,but the non-starch polysaccharides(NSP)in soybean meal impair the intestinal barrier function.Here we aimed to investigate whether xylanase can alleviate the adverse effects on the gut barrier induced by soybean meal in Nile tilapia and to explore the possible mechanism.Results Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus)(4.09±0.02 g)were fed with two diets including SM(soybean meal)and SMC(soybean meal+3,000 U/kg xylanase)for 8 weeks.We characterized the effects of xylanase on the gut barrier,and the transcriptome analysis was performed to investigate the underlying mechanism.Dietary xylanase improved intestinal morphology and decreased the concentration of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)in serum.The results of transcriptome and Western blotting showed that dietary xylanase up-regulated the expression level of mucin2(MUC2)which may be related to the inhibition of protein kinase RNA-like endoplasmic reticulum kinase(perk)/activating transcription factor 4(atf4)signaling pathways.Microbiome analysis showed that addition of xylanase in soybean meal altered the intestinal microbiota composition and increased the concentration of butyric acid in the gut.Notably,dietary sodium butyrate was supplemented into the soybean meal diet to feed Nile tilapia,and the data verified that sodium butyrate mirrored the beneficial effects of xylanase.Conclusions Collectively,supplementation of xylanase in soybean meal altered the intestinal microbiota composition and increased the content of butyric acid which can repress the perk/atf4 signaling pathway and increase the expression of muc2 to enhance the gut barrier function of Nile tilapia.The present study reveals the mechanism by which xylanase improves the intestinal barrier,and it also provides a theoretical basis for the application of xylanase in aquaculture.Tong Wang Nannan Zhou Junyi He Zhenzhen Hao Chentao Zhou Yidi Du Zhenyu Du Xiaoyun Su Meiling Zhang 2023Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,5:0
