1A deep convolutional neural network for real-time full profile analysis of big powder diffraction data显示文摘We present Parameter Quantification Network(PQ-Net),a regression deep convolutional neural network providing quantitative analysis of powder X-ray diffraction patterns from multi-phase systems.The network is tested against simulated and experimental datasets of increasing complexity with the last one being an X-ray diffraction computed tomography dataset of a multi-phase Ni-Pd/CeO_(2)-ZrO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3) catalytic material system consisting of ca.20,000 diffraction patterns.It is shown that the network predicts accurate scale factor,lattice parameter and crystallite size maps for all phases,which are comparable to those obtained through full profile analysis using the Rietveld method,also providing a reliable uncertainty measure on the results.The main advantage of PQNet is its ability to yield these results orders of magnitude faster showing its potential as a tool for real-time diffraction data analysis during in situ/operando experiments.Hongyang Dong Keith T.Butler Dorota Matras Stephen W.T.Price Yaroslav Odarchenko Rahul Khatry Andrew Thompson Vesna Middelkoop Simon D.M.Jacques Andrew M.Beale Antonis Vamvakeros 2021npj Computational Materials2021,,1:5
2High-energy hybrid femtosecond laser system demonstrating 2×10 PW capability显示文摘We report on a two-arm hybrid high-power laser system(HPLS)able to deliver 2×10 PW femtosecond pulses,developed at the Bucharest-Magurele Extreme Light Infrastructure Nuclear Physics(ELI-NP)Facility.A hybrid frontend(FE)based on a Ti:sapphire chirped pulse amplifier and a picosecond optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier based on beta barium borate(BBO)crystals,with a cross-polarized wave(XPW)filter in between,has been developed.It delivers 10 mJ laser pulses,at 10 Hz repetition rate,with more than 70 nm spectral bandwidth and high-intensity contrast,in the range of 1013:1.The high-energy Ti:sapphire amplifier stages of both arms were seeded from this common FE.The final high-energy amplifier,equipped with a 200 mm diameter Ti:sapphire crystal,has been pumped by six 100 J nanosecond frequency doubled Nd:glass lasers,at 1 pulse/min repetition rate.More than 300 J output pulse energy has been obtained by pumping with only 80%of the whole 600 J available pump energy.The compressor has a transmission efficiency of 74%and an output pulse duration of 22.7 fs was measured,thus demonstrating that the dual-arm HPLS has the capacity to generate 10 PW peak power femtosecond pulses.The reported results represent the cornerstone of the ELI-NP 2×10 PW femtosecond laser facility,devoted to fundamental and applied nuclear physics research.François Lureau Guillaume Matras Olivier Chalus Christophe Derycke Thomas Morbieu Christophe Radier Olivier Casagrande Sébastien Laux Sandrine Ricaud Gilles Rey Alain Pellegrina Caroline Richard Laurent Boudjemaa Christophe Simon-Boisson Andrei Baleanu Romeo Banici Andrei Gradinariu Constantin Caldararu Bertrand De Boisdeffre Petru Ghenuche Andrei Naziru Georgios Kolliopoulos Liviu Neagu Razvan Dabu Ioan Dancus Daniel Ursescu 2020High Power Laser Science and Engineering2020,8,4:4

6Phytonutrient pellet supplementation enhanced rumen fermentation efficiency and milk production of lactating Holstein-Friesian crossbred cows显示文摘The objective of this experiment was to investigate the effects of inclusion of dragon fruit peel pellet(DFPP) and dietary non-protein nitrogen (NPN) on nutrients digestibility, rumen fermentation efficiency,plasma antioxidant activity, microbial protein synthesis, milk yield and composition in lactatingHolstein-Friesian crossbred cows. Four animals were randomly allotted to 4 dietary treatments accordingto a 2 ×2 factorial arrangement in 4 ×4 Latin square design. The treatments were as follows: 300 g DMof DFPP t100 g of urea (T1), 300 g DM of DFPP t 200 g of urea (T2), 400 g DM of DFPP t 100 g of urea(T3), and 400 g DM of DFPP t 200 g of urea (T4), respectively. The results showed that intake of ricestraw was increased (P < 0.01) by the DFPP addition. Including DFPP and urea did not affect (P > 0.05) theNDF and ADF digestibilities, but increased the apparent digestibilities of dry matter, organic matter, andcrude protein (P < 0.01). Rumen fermentation process, especially the propionate concentration, wassignificantly increased by the DFPP levels. The plasma antioxidant activity was increased (P > 0.05) withthe addition of DFPP. The DFPP improved (P < 0.01) microbial protein synthesis. The supplementation ofDFPP and urea increased (P < 0.05) milk fat, whereas milk yield and 3.5% fat corrected milk were onlyincreased (P < 0.05) by the DFPP supplementation.
