| 1 | Helicobacter pylori and oral pathology:Relationship with the gastric infection显示文摘Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)has been found in the oral cavity and stomach,and its infection is one of the most frequent worldwide.We reviewed the literature and conducted a Topic Highlight,which identified studies reporting an association between H.pylori-infection in the oral cavity and H.pylori-positive stomach bacterium.This work was designed to determine whether H.pylori is the etiologic agent in periodontal disease,recurrent aphthous stomatitis(RAS),squamous cell carcinoma,burning and halitosis.Record selection focused on the highest quality studies and meta-analyses.We selected 48 articles reporting on the association between saliva and plaque and H.pylori-infection.In order to assess periodontal disease data,we included 12 clinical trials and 1 meta-analysis.We evaluated 13 published articles that addressed the potential association with RAS,and 6 with squamous cell carcinoma.Fourteen publications focused on our questions on burning and halitosis.There is a close relation between H.pylori infection in the oral cavity and the stomach.The mouth is the first extra-gastric reservoir.Regarding the role of H.pylori in the etiology of squamous cell carcinoma,no evidence is still available. | Isabel Adler Andrea Muio Silvia Aguas Laura Harada Mariana Diaz Adriana Lence Mario Labbrozzi Juan Manuel Muio Boris Elsner Alejandra Avagnina Valeria Denninghoff | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014，20，29： | 21 |
| 2 | Induction of Tolerance to Fusarium Wilt and Defense-Related Mechanisms in the Plantlets of Susceptible Berangan Banana Pre-Inoculated with Pseudomonas sp.(UPMP3) and Burkholderia sp.(UPMB3)显示文摘This study is aimed at assessing the ability of two endophytic bacteria originally isolated from healthy oil palm roots,Pseudomonas sp.(UPMP3) and Burkholderia sp.(UPMB3) to induce resistance in susceptible Berangan banana against Fusarium oxysporum race 4(FocR4).Increased accumulation of resistance-related enzymes such as peroxidase(PO),phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL),lignithioglycolic acid(LTGA),and pathogenesis-related(PR) proteins(chitinase and β-1,3-glucanase) has been observed in plantlets treated with endophytic bacteria UPMP3 and UPMB3 singly or as mixture under glasshouse conditions.Pre-inoculation of banana plantlets with UPMP3 showed a significant reduction in Fusarium wilt incidence 72 d after challenged inoculation with FocR4.UPMB3 was less effective in suppressing Fusarium wilt compared to UPMP3,whereas,the mixture of both endophytes showed an intermediate effect.Based on these results,it is concluded that UPMP3 could be a promising biological control agent that can trigger resistance against Fusarium wilt in susceptible Berangan banana. | Elya Masya Mohd Fishal Sariah Meon Wong Mui Yun | 2010 | Agricultural Sciences in China2010，9，8： | 15 |

| 5 | Preparation of Anti-cardiac Troponin I Monoclonal Antibodies and Their Characterization with Surface Plasmon Resonance Biosensor显示文摘Cardiac troponin I(cTnI) was separated and purified from human left ventricular tissue by affinity chromatographic method and used to immunize Balb/c mice by intraperitoneal injection and four hybridoma cell lines, which secreted monoclonal antibody(mAb) against human cTnI, were obtained by cell fusion, identification and cloning twice. Three mAbs(9F5, 2F11, 8C12) were produced from the ascites of Balb/c mice injected intraperitoneally the hybridoma cells and characterized by means of a surface plasmon resonance(SPR) biosensor. An optimal and specific sensing membrane for troponin I was prepared with staphylococcal protein A(SPA) as the intermediate layer and mAb against human cTnI as the capture antibody. On the basis of the sensing membrane, two modes of operation of the SPR biosensor were developed, i.e ., a direct detection of antigen antibody affinity and a sandwich assay. In the sandwich assay detection mode, the mAbs competition was measured by monitoring whether the secondary antibody had been attached to the cTnI already captured by the first antibody on the sensor surface. The SPR biosensor was shown to be able to directly detect the antigen antibody affinity and the order of the affinity was found to be 9F5>2F11>8C12. In the sandwich detection mode, it was found that the different epitopes on the cTnI molecules were recognized by the three mAbs respectively, but the asymmetrical competition was shown between 2F11 and 8C12 and no competition was found between 9F5 and 2F11 or 8c12. Based on these results, a double monoclonal sandwich immunoassay for cTnI was developed by using the optimal antibody pair of 9F5 and 2F11 and the SPR biosensor with SPA substrate membrane, which showed an excellent sensitivity of 0.8 μg/L for both the buffer and the serum samples compared with the direct detection of cTnI for the buffer with the lowest detection limit of 4 μg/L and conventional ELISA with the sensitivity of 1.9 μg/L. | WEIJing-yan LIUXia SONGDa-qian BULi-sha HUXing MUYing | 2003 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2003，19，2： | 4 |

| 7 | Staphylococcal thoracic aortitis complicated by aortic dissection显示文摘BACKGROUND:The diagnosis of aortitis is often delayed as symptoms are largely nonspecific.We report a case of Staphylococcal thoracic aortitis in a 73-year-old Chinese woman complicated by aortic dissection.METHODS:The patient presented with pyrexia of unknown origin,and a contrast enhanced computed tomography aortogram revealed a large thrombus at the anterior aspect of the ascending aorta with two large ulcerations as a result of a chronic type A aortic dissection.A hemiarch replacement with a 28 mm Gleweave Vascutek graft was performed with resuspension of aortic valve commisures.Aortic thrombus cultures were positive for coagulase negative Staphylococcus aureaus,and histology showed chronic dissection of the aorta.RESULTS:The patient was treated with intravenous cefazolin for a 6-week duration and made good progress.CONCLUSIONS:This case highlights Staphylococcal infective aortitis complicated by dissection presenting as fever of unknown origin.Timely diagnosis is essential as progression to catastrophic rupture may occur. | Paul Chun Yih Lim Jean Mui Hua Lee Yeow Leng Chua Stanley Chia1 | 2013 | World Journal of Emergency Medicine2013，4，2： | 3 |

| 9 | Soluble Expression,Purification and Characterization of Single-chain Fv Catalytic Antibody(sFv-2F3)显示文摘To find optimal conditions for expressing the soluble form of sFv-2F3 and to study the purification and property of its derivative Se-sFv-2F3,the preferred expression conditions were investigated by means of orthogonal design. These culture conditions included incubation temperature,inducer concentration, induction time and cell concentration. The evaluation of expression was accomplished by the analysis of whole cell lysates and the yield of soluble sFv-2F3 was calculated according to the analysis of Profinder(FTI-500,Pharmacia). The purification procedure was carried out via a two-step purification procedure consisting of ion-exchange chromatography,followed by immobilized metal affinity chromatography(IMAC). The antioxidant efficacy of Se-sFv-2F3 was demonstrated by the determination of the content of the main product of lipid peroxidation,MDA,the viability of cells and the activity of LDH. | 10 | A Discrimination Index Based on Jain's Fairness Index to Differentiate Researchers with Identical H-index Values显示文摘Purpose:This paper proposes a discrimination index method based on the Jain’s fairness index to distinguish researchers with the same H-index.Design/methodology/approach:A validity test is used to measure the correlation of D-offset with the parameters,i.e.H-index,the number of cited papers,the total number of citations,the number of indexed papers,and the number of uncited papers.The correlation test is based on the Saphiro-Wilk method and Pearson’s product-moment correlation.Findings:The result from the discrimination index calculation is a two-digit decimal value called the discrimination-offset(D-offset),with a range of D-offset from 0.00 to 0.99.The result of the correlation value between the D-offset and the number of uncited papers is 0.35,D-offset with the number of indexed papers is 0.24,and the number of cited papers is 0.27.The test provides the result that it is very unlikely that there exists no relationship between the parameters.Practical implications:For this reason,D-offset is proposed as an additional parameter for H-index to differentiate researchers with the same H-index.The H-index for researchers can be written with the format of“H-index:D-offset”.Originality/value:D-offset is worthy to be considered as a complement value to add the H-index value.If the D-offset is added in the H-index value,the H-index will have more discrimination power to differentiate the rank of the researchers who have the same H-index. | Adian Fatchur Rochim Abdul Muis Riri Fitri Sari | 2020 | Journal of Data and Information Science2020，5，4： | 2 |
