2Mechanical properties of rock under coupled static-dynamic loads显示文摘Rock drilling machine,INSTRON testing system,and SHPB device are updated to investigate the characteristics of rocks at great depth,with high loads from overburden,tectonic stresses and dynamic impacts due to blasting and boring.It is verified that these testing systems can be used to study the mechanical properties of rock material under coupled static and dynamic loading condition and give useful guidance for the deep mining and underground cavern excavation.Various tests to determine the rock strength,fragmentation behavior,and energy absorption were conducted using the updated testing systems.It is shown that under coupled static-dynamic loads,if the axial prestress is lower than its elastic limit,the rock strength is higher than the individual static or dynamic strength.At the same axial prestress,rock strength under coupled loads rises with the increasing strain rates.Under coupled static and dynamic loads,rock is observed to fail with tensile mode.While shear failure may exist if axial prestress is high enough.In addition,it is shown that the percentage of small particles increases with the increasing axial prestress and impact load based on the analysis of the particle-size distribution of fragments.It is also suggested that the energy absorption ratio of a specimen varies with coupled loads,and the maximum energy absorption ratio for a rock can be obtained with an appropriate combination of static and dynamic loads.Xibing Li Zilong Zhou Fujun Zhao Yujun Zuo Chunde Ma Zhouyuan Ye Liang Hong 2009Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2009,1,1:8
3Variations in leaf characteristics of three species of angiosperms with changing of altitude in Qilian Mountains and their inland high-altitude pattern显示文摘In this study,39 leaf samples of three angiosperms(Betula albo-sinensis,tree species;and Caragana jubata and Berberis diaphana,shrub species) were collected in the middle-east parts at 2300–3640 m asl of the Qilian Mountains to study the variations of leaf characteristics of angiosperms with altitude change in inland high-altitude regions of China.Five leaf indexes,viz.epidermal cell density(ED),stomatal density(SD),stomatal index(SI),leaf vein density(VD) and carbon isotopic ratio(δ13C),were analyzed in laboratory.The results show that there are significant or even very significant linear correlations between the five indexes and altitude,of which SD,SI and VD exhibit a negative correlation with altitude,while ED and δ13C exhibit a positive correlation with altitude.Such a correlation assemblage is quite different from the situation in the low-altitude humid environment.Generally,only an assemblage of positive correlations can be observed between the indexes(viz.SD,SI and δ13C,etc.) and the altitude in the low-altitude humid environment,which were caused mainly by the plants' responses to the change of atmospheric CO2 concentration(Cα).However,an assemblage of the negative and positive correlations found here may be attributed mainly to the plants' responses to the change of physiological drought caused by change of low temperature,and here it is preliminarily called the inland high-altitude pattern of plant leaf variations.WANG XueFang LI RuiYun LI XiaoZe MA FuJun SUN BaiNian WU JingYu WANG YouKui 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,4:8
4Bamboo Leaf and Pollen Fossils from the Late Miocene of Eastern Zhejiang,China and their Phytogeological Significance显示文摘Fossil bamboo leaves and pollen from Upper Miocene deposits of the Shengxian Formation in Tiantai and Ninghai counties,eastern Zhejiang,China represent a rare record in Asia.The distinctive pseudopetiole and parallel venation of the leaf blades and the clearly thickened annulus of the pollen aperture place them in the subfamily Bambusoideae.Morphological analysis supports the determination of these fossil leaves as belonging to the genus Bambusium and two new species are described.Bambusium latipseudopetiolus Q.J.Wang et B.N.Sun sp.nov.has a distinctly wide pseudopetiole of 0.23 cm in width and 0.40 cm in length,several vascular bundles on parallel veins,and 5–8 lateral veins on both sides of the midrib.Bambusium longipseudopetiolus Q.J.Wang et B.N.Sun sp.nov.has a distinctly long pseudopetiole of 0.60 cm in length and 0.10 cm in width,several vascular bundles on the pseudopetiole,and 6 lateral veins on both sides of the midrib.Pollen grains from the same layer provide additional evidence of bamboos.They are characterized by 32.0–51.0 μm in diameter,a round pore 3.0–4.0 μm in diameter with a broad thickened annulus 2.5–3.5 μm around,and several conspicuous secondary folds on the exine surface.The morphological analysis leads to their assignment to Graminidites bambusoides Stuchlik.These fossils are important for the study of bamboo phytogeography in China.They demonstrate that there were bamboos growing in southeastern China during the Late Miocene and that bamboos in Zhejiang begin to diversify no later than the Late Miocene.In combination with bamboo fossils from other places,it seems that bamboos had a wide distribution across southern China during the Miocene,ranging from southwestern Yun'nan to southeastern Zhejiang.WANG Qiujun MA Fujun YANG Yi DONG Junling WANG Haofei LI Ruiyun XU Xiaohui SUN Bainian 2014Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,4:7

6Over 16.7% efficiency of ternary organic photovoltaics by employing extra PC71BM as morphology regulator显示文摘Ternary organic photovoltaics(OPVs)are fabricated with PBDB-T-2 Cl:Y6(1:1.2,wt/wt)as the host system and extra PC71BM as the third component.The PBDB-T-2 Cl:Y6 based binary OPVs exhibit a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 15.49%with a short circuit current(JSC)of 24.98 mA cm^-2,an open circuit voltage(VOC)of 0.868 V and a fill factor(FF)of 71.42%.A 16.71%PCE is obtained in the optimized ternary OPVs with PBDB-T-2 Cl:Y6:PC71BM(1:1.2:0.2,wt/wt)active layer,resulting from the synchronously improved JSC of 25.44 mA cm^-2,FF of 75.66%and the constant VOCof 0.868 V.The incorporated PC71BM may prefer to mix with Y6 to finely adjust phase separation,domain size and molecular arrangement in ternary active layers,which can be confirmed from the characterization on morphology,2 D grazing incidence small and wide-angle X-ray scattering,as well as Raman mapping.In addition,PC71BM may prefer to mix with Y6 to form efficient electron transport channels,which should be conducive to charge transport and collection in the optimized ternary OPVs.This work provides more insight into the underlying reasons of the third component on performance improvement of ternary OPVs,indicating ternary strategy should be an efficient method to optimize active layers for synchronously improving photon harvesting,exciton dissociation and charge transport,while keeping the simple cell fabrication technology.Jinhua Gao Jian Wang Qiaoshi An Xiaoling Ma Zhenghao Hu Chunyu Xu Xiaoli Zhang Fujun Zhang 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,1:4
7Approaching 18%efficiency of ternary organic photovoltaics with wide bandgap polymer donor and well compatible Y6:Y6-1O as acceptor显示文摘A series of ternary organic photovoltaics(OPVs)are fabricated with one wide bandgap polymer D18-Cl as donor,and well compatible Y6 and Y6-1O as acceptor.The open-circuit-voltage(V_(OC))of ternary OPVs is monotonously increased along with the incorporation of Y6-1O,indicating that the alloy state should be formed between Y6 and Y6-1O due to their excellent compatibility.The energy loss can be minimized by incorporating Y6-1 O,leading to the V_(OC)improvement of ternary OPVs.By finely adjusting the Y6-1O content,a power conversion efficiency of 17.91%is achieved in the optimal ternary OPVs with 30 wt%Y6-1O in acceptors,resulting from synchronously improved short-circuit-current density(JSC)of 25.87 mA cm^(-2),fill factor(FF)of 76.92%and V_(OC)of 0.900 V in comparison with those of D18-Cl:Y6 binary OPVs.The JSC and FF improvement of ternary OPVs should be ascribed to comprehensively optimal photon harvesting,exciton dissociation and charge transport in ternary active layers.The more efficient charge separation and transport process in ternary active layers can be confirmed by the magnetophotocurrent and impedance spectroscopy experimental results,respectively.This work provides new insight into constructing highly efficient ternary OPVs with well compatible Y6 and its derivative as acceptor.Xiaoling Ma Anping Zeng Jinhua Gao Zhenghao Hu Chunyu Xu Jae Hoon Son Sang Young Jeong Caixia Zhang Mengyang Li Kai Wang He Yan Zaifei Ma Yongsheng Wang Han Young Woo Fujun Zhang 2021National Science Review2021,8,8:3
814.46% Efficiency small molecule organic photovoltaics enabled by the well trade-off between phase separation and photon harvesting显示文摘Small molecule organic photovoltaics(SMPVs) were prepared by utilizing liquid crystalline donor material BTR-Cl and two similar optical bandgap non-fullerene acceptor materials BTP-BO-4 F and Y6.The BTPBO-4 F and Y6 have the similar optical bandgap and different absorption coefficients.The corresponding binary SMPVs exhibit different short circuit current density(/sc)(20.38 vs.23.24 mA cm^(-2)),and fill factor(FF)(70.77% vs.67.21%).A 14.46% power conversion efficiency(PCE) is acquired in ternary SMPVs with 30 wt% Y6,companied with a JSC of 24.17 mA cm^(-2) a FF of 68.78% and an open circuit voltage(Voc) of 0.87 V.The improvement on PCE of ternary SMPVs should originate from the well trade-off between phase separation and photon harvesting of ternary active layers by incorporating 30 wt% Y6 in acceptors.This work may deliver insight onto the improved performance of SMPVs by superposing the superiorities of binary SMPVs with similar optical bandgap acceptors into one ternary cell.Chunyu Xu Haiyan Chen Zijin Zhao Jinhua Gao Xiaoling Ma Shirong Lu Xiaoli Zhang Zeyun Xiao Fujun Zhang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6:2
9Fossil Liverworts from the Lower Cretaceous Huolinhe Formation in Inner Mongolia, China显示文摘A new genus and species, Rebouliothallus huolinhensis sp. nov., and two uncertain species, Ricciopsis sp. and Hepaticites sp., are described. The fossils were collected from the Lower Cretaceous Huolinhe Formation of Huolinhe Basin, northeastern China. The new genus Rebouliothallus was established in the Aytoniaceae family of Marchantiales. Rebouliothallus huolinhensis appears to be quite similar to species of the extant genus Reboulia Raddi. The species is characterized by the relatively large ventral scales. Ventral scales are large, imbricate and arranged in two rows on the ventral surface. Rhizoids are either pegged or smooth. Ricciopsis sp. is characterized by the rosetteforming thallus. Hepaticites sp. shows some similarities to liverworts. Of the forty-nine Early Cretaceous floras of China, only two floras, one from the Huolinhe basin, Inner Mongolia and the other from the Jixi Basin, Heilongjiang Province, contain fossil liverworts. 10Dynamic features of near-inertial oscillations in the Northwestern Pacific derived from mooring observations from^2015 to 2018显示文摘Near-inertial oscillation is an important physical process transferring surface wind energy into deep ocean.We investigated the near-inertial kinetic energy(NIKE)variability using acoustic Doppler current profiler measurements from a mooring array deployed in the tropical western Pacific Ocean along 130°E at 8.5°N,11°N,12.6°N,15°N,and 17.5°N from September 2015 to January 2018.Spatial features,decay timescales,and significant seasonal variability of the observed NIKE were described.At the mooring sites of 17.5°N,15°N,and 12.6°N,the NIKE peaks occurred in boreal autumn and the NIKE troughs were observed in boreal spring.By contrast,the NIKE at 11°N and 8.5°N showed peaks in winter and troughs in summer.Tropical cyclones and strong wind events played an important role in the emergence of high-NIKE events and explained the seasonality and latitudinal characteristics of the observed NIKE.HU Shijian LIU Lingling GUAN Cong ZHANG Linlin WANG Jianing WANG Qingye MA Jie WANG Fujun JIA Fan FENG Junqiao LU Xi WANG Fan HU Dunxin 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,4:2
11Highly sensitive,sub-microsecond polymer photodetectors for blood oxygen saturation testing显示文摘Bottom surface of active layers and interface of indium tin oxide(ITO)electrodes and active layers play a crucial role in determining the performance of polymer photodetectors with photomultiplication(PM-PPDs).The interfacial trapped electron distribution closing to ITO electrodes will determine spectral response range and external quantum efficiency(EQE)of PMPPDs.The bottom interface is more sensitive than top interface when light is coming from the ITO side,and the larger density of generated charge on the bottom interfaces will induce interfacial band more bending for efficient charge tunneling injection.Highly sensitive and sub-microsecond PM-PPDs are achieved with PMBBDT:Y6(100:7,w/w)as active layers under forward bias,yielding EQE of 18,700%at 320 nm,21,700%at 600 nm and 16,400%at 810 nm under a bias of 7 V,respectively,as well as fast response time of 79μs.The high EQE of the PM-PPDs is attributed to efficient hole tunneling injection from ITO electrode under forward bias.The electron traps closing to ITO electrode will be quickly filled up when light is coming from ITO side,leading to interfacial band more bending for hole tunneling injection.Importantly,the PM-PPDs is performed to measure heart rate(HR)and blood oxygen saturation(SpO_(2)),and the measured data by the PM-PPDs are very similar with those obtained by commercial photodetectors.Zijin Zhao Baiqiao Liu Changlin Xie Yao Ma Jian Wang Ming Liu Kaixuan Yang Yunhua Xu Jian Zhang Weiwei Li Liang Shen Fujun Zhang 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,8:2
12Buxus Leaves from the Oligocene of Guangxi, China and Their Biogeographical Significance显示文摘The present paper reports two new species of Buxus from the Oligocene Ningming Formation of Guangxi, South China, on the basis of several compressed fossil leaves.Buxus ningmingensis sp.nov.is characterized by an elliptic to ovate shape; pinnate venation with marginal secondary, long hairs on the adaxial side of the midvein base; and amphistomatic, anomocytic stomata with a prominent outer ring.All of these characteristics suggest a closest affinity to the living Buxus microphylla subsp.sinica.Another new species identified as Buxus preaustro-yunnanensis sp.nov.is characterized by the diagnostic formation of its admedially branched tertiaries, the trunks of which are often strongly thickened by sclereides.This species is most similar to the extant Buxus austroyunnanensis.The co-occurrence of Buxus ningmingensis sp.nov.and Buxus preaustro-yunnanensis sp.nov.suggests that these two Buxus lived during the Oligocene under a warm, tropical to subtropical climate, similar to the current climate of Ningming.Our findings provide the earliest fossil evidence of Buxus leaves with detailed illustrations of leaf architectural and cuticular features.The occurrence of these two species indicates that Buxus began to diversify in Guangxi no later than the Oligocene.MA Fujun WANG Qiujun DONG Junling YANG Yi WANG Wenjia YAN Defei SUN Bainian 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,5:2
13The Origin of the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake Determined by the Analysis on the Active Longmenshan Nappe in Terms of Rockmass Mechanics显示文摘On 12 May 2008, the magnitude 8.0 Wenchuan Earthquake occurred along the Longmen Shan nappe, Sichuan, China. This devastating earthquake led to a heavy death toll of greater than 80,000. The seismic origin of this earthquake is currently hotly debated. We suppose that it is a special type of intraplate earthquake called an active-nappe-type earthquake. Using a holistic methodology, incorporating rockmass structure cybernetics and Byerlee's law, we present a comprehensive study on the geological origin of macroseisms in the Longmen Shan area and the seismic origin of the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake. Previous studies of neotectonic activity indicate that the Longmen Shan nappe moves at a rate of 1~3 mm/yr, due to horizontal compressive stress from the Tibetan Plateau. The difference between movement rates in the Bayankala block, Longmen Shan nappe and Sichuan Basin cause slow shear stress and strain accumulation in the Longmen Shan nappe. It is exhibited a relatively simple linear relations for the shear strength and the buried depth of the structural planes, and the detachment layer of the nappe has a higher shearing-sliding strength compared to the overlying fault planes and the underlying ductile shear belts, thus making it more prone to stick-slip deformation. Therefore, the detachment layer was the main section responsible for the Wenchuan earthquake. The initial rupture burst in the detachment layer under the Yingxiu-Beichuan fault, the rupture area nearly 1.4454 × 104 km2,encompassed the cross point of the Yingxiu and the Anxian-Guanxian faults with the detachment layer, then caused the Yingxiu-Beichuan and Anxian-Guanxian faults took an active part in this earthquake, so this earthquake might consist of three chain-like earthquake stages, totally increasing the duration of this earthquake an unusually large amount, to 120 s. 14Mitochondrial fission factor promotes cisplatin resistance in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most common primary liver tumor and one of the leading causes of cancer-related death worldwide.Chemotherapeutic agents/regimens such as cisplatin(DDP)are frequently used for advanced HCC treatment.However,drug resistance remains a major hindrance and the underline mechanisms are not fully understood.In this study,we investigated the expression pattern and function of mitochondrial fission factor(Mff)in cisplatin-resistant HCC.We found that Mff is highly expressed in cisplatin-resistant HCC tissues and cell lines.Knockdown of Mff suppresses cell proliferation and promotes cell apoptosis of HCC/DDP cells.In addition,knockdown of Mff sensitizes Huh-7/DDP cells to cisplatin treatment,inhibits cell proliferation,migration and invasion,and enhances cell apoptosis.Confocal imaging showed that knockdown of Mff inhibits the mitochondrial fission and downregulates the expression of GTPase dynamin-related protein 1(Drp1)in cisplatin-resistant Huh-7/DDP cells.Moreover,xenograft tumor model revealed that knockdown of Mff sensitizes Huh-7/DDP xenograft tumor to cisplatin treatment in vivo.In summary,our findings suggest that Mff regulates mitochondrial Drp1 expression and promotes cisplatin resistance in HCC,which provides a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of cisplatin-resistant HCC.Xiaoliang Li Quanlin Wu Fujun Ma Xinxin Zhang Lei Cai Xuekang Yang 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,3:1
