2Photodynamic Therapy for Advanced Gastric Cancer: A Case Report显示文摘Background and Study Aims:To observe the efficacy of photodynamic therapy in patients with advanced gastric cancer and analyze the reasons affecting the efficacy.Methods:In this paper,a patient with advanced gastric cancer in our hospital was selected.HoPorfin is used as a photosensitizer and photodynamic therapy was performed 48 hours and 72 hours later.Results:One month after the photodynamic treatment,the patient came to our hospital to reexamine the gastroscope.Through the comparison of gastroscopy before and after the photodynamic treatment,the gastric cancer lesion of the patient after the photodynamic treatment was not significantly smaller than before,and the effect of photodynamic treatment was not ideal.Conclusion:The four reasons for the unsatisfactory effect:individual differences of patients,photosensitizer,light source and oxygen.Hongyan Zhang Lule Wu Xiaoxiong Hu Jianwen Sheng Yuwen Wu Huizhen Fan 2021Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2021,5,2:0
3Identification of new aptamer BC-3 targeting RPS7 from rapid screening for bladder carcinoma显示文摘Aptamers,short single DNA or RNA oligonucleotides,have shown immense application potential as molecular probes for the early diagnosis and therapy of cancer.However,conventional cell-SELEX technologies for aptamer discovery are time-consuming and laborious.Here we discovered a new aptamer BC-3 by using an improved rapid X-Aptamer selection process for human bladder carcinoma,for which there is no specific molecular probe yet.We show that BC-3 exhibited excellent affinity in bladder cancer cells but not normal cells.We demonstrate that BC-3 displayed high selectivity for tumor cells over their normal counterparts in vitro,in mice,and in patient tumor tissue specimens.Further endocytosis pathway analysis revealed that BC-3 internalized into bladder cancer cells via clathrin-mediated endocytosis.Importantly,we identified ribosomal protein S7(RPS7)as the binding target of BC-3 via an integrated methodology(mass spectrometry,colocalization assay,and immunoblotting).Together,we report that a novel aptamer BC-3 is discovered for bladder cancer and its properties in the disease are unearthed.Our findings will facilitate the discovery of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for bladder cancer.Yunyi Liu Juan Li Hailong Ou Dan Qi Bei Hu Yuxi Xu Jian Hu Yi Xiong Luling Xia Jason HHuang Xiaoxiao Hu Erxi Wu 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,5:0
4Photodynamic Therapy Combined with Electrosurgical Resection for Recurrent Bladder Cancer显示文摘Bladder tumor is characterized by recurrent recurrence and distant metastasis,which determines the difficulty of completely curing bladder tumor.In recent years,the number of patients with bladder cancer is increasing,and the treatment of bladder cancer has become an important direction of clinical research.It is difficult to control bladder tumor by traditional therapy.Photodynamic therapy(PDT),as a new optical therapy,has gradually become the main method in clinical treatment of bladder tumor combined with transurethral resection of bladder tumor.In this paper,a patient with superficial recurrent bladder tumor was treated by photodynamic therapy combined with transurethral resection of bladder tumor.The advantages of photodynamic therapy in the treatment of bladder tumor and the selection of photosensitizer in the process of photodynamic therapy were discussed.After two recurrences,the patients chose photodynamic therapy.The tumors were resected one by one,and the wound was coagulated by roller electrode.After the drug was retained for 20 minutes,the bladder was empty.The spherical optical fiber was implanted into the bladder.The photodynamic energy was adjusted(light power 1.8 W,light time 1302 s).There was no recurrence after operation.Most bladder tumors are superficial tumors,and bladder is a cavity organ,which determines that bladder is an ideal organ for photodynamic therapy.As a targeted drug,photosensitizer is only absorbed by bladder tumor after being perfused into bladder.The photosensitizer forms reactive oxygen species through oxygen and kills tumor cells.Clinical practice has proved that PDT has its unique advantages for superficial and recurrent bladder tumors.As the first generation photosensitizer,xipofen also has selectivity in the treatment of bladder cancer.Ziwei Xu Minhong Wu Lule Wu Xiaoxiong Hu Jianwen Sheng Yuwen Wu Huizhen Fan 2020Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2020,4,5:0
5Special issue on “Molecular Sensors and Molecular Logic Gates”显示文摘This issue of Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering highlights recent progress toward fluorescent probes that was originally conceived to coincide with 7th Conference on Molecular Sensors and Molecular Logic Gates(MSMLG 2020)to celebrate the career of Seiji Shinkai and hosted by Anthony Czarnik at the University of Nevada in Reno.Sadly,that meeting was cancelled due to the pandemic associated with COVID-19.However,this collection of research and review papers will now serve as an introduction to MSMLG 2022 which will be in Dublin,Ireland on 7–10 June 2022,where Thorfinnur Gunnlaugsson will be the local host.The collection of papers contained in this special issue covers in vitro and in vivo applications and illustrates the potential for practical sensing and imaging of disease-related species.Luling Wu Tony D.James 2022Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2022,16,1:0
