Influences of Seasonal Freezing and Thawing on Soil Water-stable Aggregates in Orchard in High Cold Region,Northeast China显示文摘Soil aggregate stability,as an important indicator of soil functions, may be affected by seasonal freezing and thawing(SFT)and land use in high cold and wet regions. Therefore, comprehensive understanding the effects of SFT on aggregate stability in orchards during winter and spring is crucial to develop appropriate management strategies that can effectively alleviate the degradation of soil quality to ensure sustainable development of orchard ecosystems. To determine the mechanism of degradation in orchard soil quality, the effects of SFT on the stability of water-stable aggregates were examined in apple-pear orchards(Pyrus ussuriensis var.ovoidea)of four different ages(11,25,40,and 63 yr)on 0 to 5%slopes before freezing and after thawing from October 2015 to June 2016 in Longjing City,Yanbian Prefecture,Northeast China, involving a comparison of planted versus adjacent uncultivated lands(control).Soil samples were collected to investigate water-stable aggregate stability in three incremental soil layers(0–20,20–40 and 40–60 cm).In the same samples, iron oxide, organic matter, and clay contents of the soil were also determined. Results showed that the destructive influences of SFT on water-stable aggregates were more pronounced with the increased orchards ages, and SFT exerted severe effects on water-stable aggregates of older orchards(40 and 63 yr)than juvenile orchards.Undergoing SFT,the soil instability index and the percentage of aggregate destruction increased by mean 0.15 mm and 1.86%,the degree of aggregation decreased by mean 1.32%,and the erosion resistance weakened, which consequently led to aggregate stability decreased. In addition, soil free, amorphous, and crystalline iron oxide as well as soil organic matter and clay contents are all important factors affecting the stability of water-stable aggregates, and their changes in their contents were consistent with those in the stability of water-stable aggregates. The results of this study suggest that long-term planting fruit trees can exacerbate the damaging effects of SFT on aggregate stability and further soil erosion increases and nutrient losses in an orchard, which hider sustainable use of soil and the productivity orchards. | LIANG Yunjiang DENG Xu SONG Tao CHEN Guoshuang WANG Yuemei ZHANG Qing LU Xinrui | 2021 | Chinese Geographical Science2021,31,2: | 3
The design of HEPS global timing system显示文摘Purpose The high energy photon source(HEPS)is a 4th generation synchrotron light source under construction by the institute of high energy physics. The accelerator complex consists of a 500-MeV Linac,a full-energy synchrotron booster,a 6-GeV synchrotron storage ring(SR),and three e-beam transport lines for injection and extraction among accelerators.A global timing system(GTS)covers the timing needs for all accelerator, beamline, and experiment systems. The GTS is designed to coordinate the injection processes and various measurements and protections. Most systems require that the RMS jitter of the GTS signal is less than 30 ps,while the trigger jitters for the electron gun and SR injection and extraction kickers are less than 10 ps.Method The HEPS GTS is an event-based timing system based on MicroTCA.4 hardware architecture. The MicroTCA.4300 series products from the micro-research Finland Oy are implemented in the HEPS GTS system. Results and conclusions The RMS jitter, integrated from 1 Hz to 10 MHz,of the 166.6 MHz event clock is 5.489 ps.The RMS jitter of TTL outputs is less than 30 ps.This paper reports the design of the HEPS GTS,which satisfies all of the HEPS physics requirements for timing with preliminary test results shown. | Fang Liu Ge Lei Zhe Duan Cai Meng Chenyan Lu Yanhua Shao Xinpeng Ma Nan Gan Yuemei Peng Jianshe Cao Chungming Chu Yanfeng Sui Jingyi Li IHEP | 2021 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2021,5,3: | 1
Effect of Yupingfeng Polysaccharide on Serum IL-2 and IFN-γ Levels in Immunosuppressive Mice显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to discuss regulation and protection effect of Yupingfeng polysaccharide( YPF-P) on immunosuppressive mice. [Method]Taking immunosuppressive mice induced by 80 mg / kg cyclophosphamide as test animal model, effects of different doses( 100,200 and 400 mg / kg) of YPF-P on spleen index, serum IL-2 and IFN-γ levels of mice were studied. [Result] High dose of YPF-P( 400 mg / kg) could improve the spleen index of immunosuppressive mice( P < 0. 05). YPF-P could enhance serum IL-2 and IFN-γ levels of immunosuppressive mice, and the effects in middle-dose group and low-dose group were better. YPF-P could significantly increase serum IL-2 level of normal mice( P < 0. 01),but it had no significant effect on serum IFN-γ level of normal mice.[Conclusion]The research provides an experimental basis for clinical application of YPF-P. | Yang Hong Deng Hua Lu Yuemei Li Minshen Pu Wenjun | 2015 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2015,7,2: | 1
Control of an Intermittent Outbreak Caused by an Emerging Pandrug-Resistant Acinetobacter baumannii Clone ST457 in a Tertiary Hospital显示文摘Acinetobacter baumannii is a frequent cause of nosocomial infections. Here we report an intermittent outbreak caused by the emerging carbapenem-resistant A.baumannii(CRAB)clone ST457 and assess the effectiveness of patient screening for outbreak control.CRAB isolates were collected from 74 patients admitted to the respiratory intensive care unit of a tertiary hospital between May 2018 and March 2019.Fourteen CRAB isolates were assigned to ST457,and 13 belonged to an outbreak clone,as determined by phylogenomic analysis.Strict patient screening was started at the respiratory intensive care unit on May 2019,through which a ST457-positive patient transferred from the intensive care unit was detected. No positive patients were detected within 3months onwards. The results of this study highlight the importance of rigorous infection prevention and control measures, combined with patient screening,in controlling the CRAB outbreak. | Chuqiu Zhang Tingting Xu Yang Ji Wenping Zheng Jingsong Wu Yuemei Lu Huiping Li Rongchang Chen Chen Qiu Kai Zhou | 2021 | Infectious Microbes & Diseases2021,3,4: | 1
Omicron variants breakthrough infection elicited higher specific memory immunity than third dose booster in healthy vaccinees显示文摘Homologous booster, heterologous booster, and Omicron variants breakthrough infection(OBI)could improve the humoral immunity against Omicron variants.Questions concerning about memory B cells(MBCs)and T cells immunity against Omicron variants, features of long-term immunity, after booster and OBI,needs to be explored. Here, comparative analysis demonstrate antibody and T cell immunity against ancestral strain,Delta and Omicron variants in Omicron breakthrough infected patients(OBIPs)are comparable to that in Ad5-nCoV boosted healthy volunteers(HVs),higher than that in inactivated vaccine(InV)boosted HVs.However, memory B cells(MBCs)immunity against Omicron variants was highest in OBIPs,followed by Ad5-nCoV boosted and InV boosted HVs.OBIPs and Ad5-nCoV boosted HVs have higher classical MBCs and activated MBCs,and lower naïve MBCs and atypical MBCs relative to both vaccine boosted HVs.Collectively, these data indicate Omicron breakthrough infection elicit higher MBCs and T cells against SARS-CoV-2 especially Omicron variants relative to homologous InV booster and heterologous Ad5-nCoV booster. | Pei Yu Zijian Liu Zhuoqi Zhu Jiaqing Yang Min Deng Mingxiao Chen Changchun Lai Weiya Kong Shilong Xiong Li Wan Weikang Mai Lu Chen Yu Lei Shahzad Akbar Khan Jianfeng Ruan An Kang Xuguang Guo Qiang Zhou Wenrui Li Zheng Chen Yuemei Liang Pingchao Li Lei Zhang Tianxing Ji | 2023 | Virologica Sinica2023,38,2: | 0
Equilibrium electron beam parameters of the High Energy Photon Source显示文摘Purpose The physics design of the High Energy Photon Source(HEPS)was finished after many times of iteration.Hereby, the typical equilibrium electron beam parameters corresponding to the proposed two baseline operation modes in the baseline design of HEPS are presented. Methods To compute the equilibrium parameters of the electron beam, the lattice parameters,RF parameters, and the parameters of the insertion devices(IDs)were determined first.Furthermore,it is more precise to use the full-current electron beam parameters in the estimations of the performance of the synchrotron light. Therefore, not only the single-particle dynamics but also the current-dependent collective effects need to be considered in the computations of the full-current,equilibrium parameters of the electron beam. Both analytic computations and multi-particle tracking simulations were carried out. Results The full-current,equilibrium parameters of the electron beams in the HEPS storage ring are presented in this paper. Moreover, the main beam parameters in the injector(the booster and the LINAC),corresponding to the two baseline operation modes of the storage ring, are also presented. Conclusion The typical electron beam parameters corresponding to the two baseline operation modes are given in detail in this paper. | Haisheng Xu Cai Meng Yuemei Peng Saike Tian Na Wang Xiaohao Cui Chongchong Du Zhe Duan Yuanyuan Guo Ping He Xiyang Huang Daheng Ji Hongfei Ji Yi Jiao Jingyi Li Nan Li Xiaoyu Li Xiaohan Lu Pengfei Liang Weimin Pan Huamin Qu Bin Wang Jiuqing Wang Yuanyuan Wei Jinyu Wan Gang Xu Fang Yan Chenghui Yu Sen Yue Xiang Zhang Yaliang Zhao | 2023 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2023,7,2: | 0
Sorting nexin 3 exacerbates doxorubicin-induced cardiomyopathy via regulation of TFRC-dependent ferroptosis显示文摘The clinical utilization of doxorubicin(Dox)in various malignancies is restrained by its major adverse effect:irreversible cardiomyopathy.Extensive studies have been done to explore the prevention of Dox cardiomyopathy.Currently, ferroptosis has been shown to participate in the incidence and development of Dox cardiomyopathy.Sorting Nexin 3(SNX3),the retromer-associated cargo binding protein with important physiological functions, was identified as a potent therapeutic target for cardiac hypertrophy in our previous study. However, few study has shown whether SNX3 plays a critical role in Dox-induced cardiomyopathy. In this study,a decreased level of SNX3 in Dox-induced cardiomyopathy was observed.Cardiac-specific Snx3 knockout(Snx3-cKO)significantly alleviated cardiomyopathy by downregulating Dox-induced ferroptosis significantly.SNX3 was further demonstrated to exacerbate Dox-induced cardiomyopathy via induction of ferroptosis in vivo and in vitro, and cardiac-specific Snx3 transgenic(Snx3-cTg)mice were more susceptible to Dox-induced feroptosis and cardiomyopathy.Mechanistically,SNX3 facilitated the recycling of transferrin 1 receptor(TFRC)via direct interaction, disrupting iron homeostasis, increasing the accumulation of iron, triggering ferroptosis, and eventually exacerbating Dox-induced cardiomyopathy.Overall, these findings established a direct SNX3-TFRC-ferroptosis positive regulatory axis in Dox-induced cardiomyopathy and suggested that targeting SNX3 provided a new effective therapeutic strategy for Dox-induced cardiomyopathy through TFRCdependentferroptosis. | Wenjing Yu Yuehuai Hu Zhiping Liu Kaiteng Guo Dinghu Ma Mingxia Peng Yuemei Wang Jing Zhang Xiaolei Zhang Panxia Wang Jiguo Zhang Peiqing Liu Jing Lu | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,12: | 0
Paradoxical effects of DNA tumor virus oncogenes on epithelium-derived tumor cell fate during tumor progression and chemotherapy response显示文摘Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)and human papillomavirus(HPV)infection is the risk factors for nasopharyngeal carcinoma and cervical carcinoma, respectively. However, clinical analyses demonstrate that EBV or HPV is associated with improved response of patients, although underlying mechanism remains unclear. Here,we reported that the oncoproteins of DNA viruses, such as LMP1 of EBV and E7 of HPV,inhibit PERK activity in cancer cells via the interaction of the viral oncoproteins with PERK through a conserved motif.Inhibition of PERK led to increased level of reactive oxygen species(ROS)that promoted tumor and enhanced the efficacy of chemotherapy in vivo.Consistently, disruption of viral oncoprotein-PERK interactions attenuated tumor growth and chemotherapy in both cancer cells and tumor-bearing mouse models. Our findings uncovered a paradoxical effect of DNA tumor virus oncoproteins on tumors and highlighted that targeting PERK might be an attractive strategy for the treatment of NPC and cervical carcinoma. | Jiang He Liyu Liu Feiyu Tang You Zhou Huan Liu Can Lu Deyun Feng Hong Zhu Yitao Mao Zhi Li Lu Zhang Yuemei Duan Zhi Xiao Musheng Zeng Liang Weng Lun-Quan Sun | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,12: | 0
