1Microbial community structures in an integrated two-phase anaerobic bioreactor fed by fruit vegetable wastes and wheat straw显示文摘The microbial community structures in an integrated two-phase anaerobic reactor(ITPAR)were investigated by 16S r DNA clone library technology.The 75 L reactor was designed with a 25 L rotating acidogenic unit at the top and a 50 L conventional upflow methanogenic unit at the bottom,with a recirculation connected to the two units.The reactor had been operated for 21 stages to co-digest fruit/vegetable wastes and wheat straw,which showed a very good biogas production and decomposition of cellulosic materials.The results showed that many kinds of cellulose and glycan decomposition bacteria related with Bacteroidales,Clostridiales and Syntrophobacterales were dominated in the reactor,with more bacteria community diversities in the acidogenic unit.The methanogens were mostly related with Methanosaeta,Methanosarcina,Methanoculleus,Methanospirillum and Methanobacterium;the predominating genus Methanosaeta,accounting for 40.5%,54.2%,73.6%and 78.7%in four samples from top to bottom,indicated a major methanogenesis pathway by acetoclastic methanogenesis in the methanogenic unit.The beta diversity indexes illustrated a more similar distribution of bacterial communities than that of methanogens between acidogenic unit and methanogenic unit.The differentiation of methanogenic community composition in two phases,as well as pH values and volatile fatty acid(VFA)concentrations confirmed the phase separation of the ITPAR.Overall,the results of this study demonstrated that the special designing of ITPAR maintained a sufficient number of methanogens,more diverse communities and stronger syntrophic associations among microorganisms,which made two phase anaerobic digestion of cellulosic materials more efficient.Chong Wang Jiane Zuo Xiaojie Chen Wei Xing Linan Xing Peng Li Xiangyang Lu Chao Li 2014Journal of Environmental Sciences2014,26,12:6
2Determination of the metastable zone and induction time of thiourea for cooling crystallization显示文摘The solubility,metastable zone width(MSZW),and induction time of thiourea for cooling crystallization were experimentally determined in the temperature range of 283-323 K.The solubility data could be well described by the Apelblat equation model as lnx=-99.55+1071.66/T+16.27 lnT.The determinations of the effects of various stirring and cooling rates indicated that the MSZW increased with increasing and decreasing cooling and stirring rates,respectively.Furthermore,the induction times at various temperatures and supersaturation ratios were also measured.The results indicated that homogeneous nucleation could occur at high supersaturation,whereas heterogeneous nucleation was more likely to occur at low supersaturation.Based on the classical nucleation theory and induction period data,the calculated solid-liquid interfacial tensions of thiourea in deionized water at 302.46 and 312.58 K were 2.86 and 2.94 mJ·m^(-2),respectively.Tong Zhou Chunzhao Tu Ya Sun Linan Ji Chuangxian Bian Xiaohua Lu Changsong Wang 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,3:3
3Iron isotopic analyses of geological reference materials on MC-ICP-MS with instrumental mass bias corrected by three independent methods显示文摘Here we report iron(Fe) isotopic data of three pure Fe solution standards(IRMM-014, GSB Fe, and NIST3126a) and five widely used geological reference materials(RMs) from the United States Geological Survey and Geological Survey of Japan obtained on a Neptune Plus multi-collector–inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometer(MC-ICP-MS) in our laboratory over the past 3 years. The instrumental mass bias was corrected by three independent methods: sample-standard bracketing(SSB),Ni doping + SSB, and ^(57)Fe–^(58)Fe double spike + SSB.Measurements reveal that both the Ni doping and double spike methods helped calibrate short-term fluctuations in mass bias. Collectively, almost all measurements of RMs yielded δ^(56)Fe within ± 0.05 of recommended values,provided that each sample was measured four times on MC-ICP-MS. 7A High-Temperature Superconducting Wideband Bandpass Filter at the L Band for Radio Astronomy显示文摘In order to ensure the normal operation of radio astronomy observations,an extremely sensitive receiver system needs to be equipped in front of the large radio telescope.An 8-pole wideband high-temperature superconducting(HTS)filter using a Coplanar Spiral Resonator Structure with a passband of 1160~1670 MHz is developed to suppress strong radio interference.The filter is fabricated on a 36 mm×14 mm YBCO HTS film,which is deposited on a 0.5 mm thick MgO substrate.The minimum insertion loss measured in the liquid nitrogen temperature region is 0.03 dB,and the first parasitic passband appears at 2600 MHz.The measured results are in good agreement with the simulations.The filter can be used in radio telescope receivers for the observation of neutral hydrogen and pulsars,as well as in high-sensitivity satellite navigation instruments.Xinyu Zhu Jianbin Li Boyu Lu Bin Wei Yifan Jiang Linan Jiang Chao Hu 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,11:0
8An injectable alginate/fibrin hydrogel encapsulated with cardiomyocytes and VEGF for myocardial infarction treatment显示文摘Myocardial infarction(MI)is one of the typical cardiovascular diseases,which persist as the leading cause of death globally.Due to the poor regenerative capability of endogenous cardiomyocytes(CMs),the transplantation of exogenous CMs becomes a promising option for MI treatment.However,the low retention and survival of transplanted cells still limit the clinical translation of cell therapy.Herein,an alginate/fibrin-based injectable hydrogel was prepared for the delivery of neonatal CMs and an angiogen-esis agent vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)locally to the infarcted area of the heart.This hydro-gel combined the specific advantages of alginate and fibrin with proper mechanical properties and cell affinity,showing good biocompatibility to support the retention and integration of the transplanted CMs to the host myocardium.Moreover,the delivered VEGF was favorable for the blood recovery to mitigate the ischemic microenvironment of the infarcted area and thus improved the survival of the transplanted CMs.Intramyocardial injection of this hydrogel to the infarcted area of the heart promoted angiogenesis,inhibited fibrosis,and improved cardiac function,exhibiting great potential for MI treatment.Chunxia Liu Yong Wu Hong Yang Kunyan Lu Haixin Zhang Yuanyuan Wang Jingjing Wang Linan Ruan Zhenya Shen Qian Yu Yanxia Zhang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,12:0
