1Mild hypothermia effects on matrix metalloproteinase-9 expression in the perihematomal region of rats following experimental intracerebral hemorrhage显示文摘BACKGROUND: Matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) expression increases with intracerebral hemorrhage, and participates in the pathophysiological processes of secondary brain injury after intracerebral hemorrhage. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of mild hypothermia on MMP-9 expression and brain edema in the perihematomal region of experimental intracerebral hemorrhage rats. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: The randomized, controlled experiment was performed at the Central Laboratory of Shandong Provincial Hospital between May and September 2007. MATERIALS: Seventy-two, Wistar, male rats, 12-weeks old, were used for this study. Rabbit anti-MMP-9 primary antibody was purchased from Boster, China. METHODS: Wistar rats were equally and randomly divided into normothermia and mild hypothermia groups. The two groups each comprised control, 6-hour intracerebral hemorrhage, 24-hour intracerebral hemorrhage, 48-hour intracerebral hemorrhage, 72-hour intracerebral hemorrhage, and 1-week intracerebral hemorrhage subgroups, with six rats in each subgroup. Rat models of intracerebral hemorrhage were established by injecting 100 μL of autologous blood into the rat caudate nucleus. Rats in the mild hypothermia group received four hours of local mild hypothermia immediately following the injection. Intracerebral temperature was maintained at (33 ± 0.5) ℃. Subsequently, intracerebral temperature was spontaneously recovered at 25 ℃. Rats in the control subgroup were not injected with autologous blood and received only with intracerebral hemorrhage. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Brain water content and MMP-9 expression surrounding the hematoma region. RESULTS: MMP-9 expression increased at 6 hours, and brain edema reached a peak at 48 hours after intracerebral hemorrhage. MMP-9 expression was significantly decreased in the mild hypothermia group compared with the normothermia group at each time point (P < 0.05). 2Hiding Information in MPEG Sequences by Using of B-Frames显示文摘In this paper,in order to increase the amount of hiding information,we choose MPEG sequences as carriers and present a practical method focus on the steganographic method in MPEG compressed video sequences.Generally,there are many B-frames in each GOP.We utilize the B-frames to hide information so that we can increase the amount of hiding information and decrease the tamper of the carriers.Hiding and extracting are performed in compressed video sequences without requiring original video.The experimental results show that the proposed method has the characteristics of less tampering on the visual effect and larger hiding capacity without increasing the volume of the carrier file.ZHENG Peng WANG Weihua ZHAO Bo LIU Minzhong 2012Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2012,17,3:2
3Synthesis and performance of Li_3V_2(PO_4)_3/C composites as cathode materials显示文摘Carbon-coated Li3V2(PO4)3 cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries were prepared by a carbon-thermal reduction (CTR) method using su- crose as carbon source. The Li3V2(PO4)3/C composite cathode materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and electrochemical measurement. The results show that the Li3V2(PO4)3 samples synthesized using sucrose as carbon source have the same monoclinic structure as the Li3V2(PO4)3 sample synthesized using acetylene black as carbon source. SEM image exhib- its that the particle size is about 1 μm together with homogenous distribution. Electrochemical test shows that the initial discharge capacity of Li3V2(PO4)3 powders is 122 mAh·g-1 at the rate of 0.2C, and the capacity retains 111 mAh·g-1 after 50 cycles.LIU Minzhong GUO Xueyi 2008Rare Metals2008,27,6:2
4Application of wind profiler data to rainfall analyses in Tazhong Oilfield region,Xinjiang,China显示文摘To improve the level of meteorological service for the Oilfield region in the Taklimakan Desert,the Urumqi Institute of Desert Meteorology of the China Meteorological Administration(CMA) conducted a detection experiment by means of wind profiling radar(WPR) in Tazhong Oilfield region of Xinjiang,China in July 2010.By using the wind profiler data obtained during the rainfall process on 27 July,this paper analyzed the wind field features and some related scientific issues of this weather event.The results indicated that:(1) wind profiler data had high temporal resolution and vertical spatial resolution,and could be used to analyze detailed vertical structures of rainfall processes and the characteristics of meso-scale systems.Before and after the rain event on 27 July,the wind field showed multi-layer vertical structures,having an obvious meso-scale wind shear line and three airflows from different directions,speeding up the motion of updraft convergence in the lower atmosphere.Besides,the wind directions before and after the rainfall changed inversely with increasing height.Before the rain,the winds blew clockwise,but after the onset of the rain,the wind directions became counterclockwise mainly;(2) the temperature advection derived from wind profiler data can reproduce the characteristics of low-level thermodynamic evolution in the process of rainfall,which is capable to reflect the variation trend of hydrostatic stability in the atmosphere.In the early stage of the precipitation on 27 July,the lower atmosphere was mainly affected by warm advection which had accumulated unstable energy for the rainfall event and was beneficial for the occurrence of updraft motion and precipitation;(3) the 'large-value zone' of the radar reflectivity factor Z was virtually consistent with the onset and end of the rainfall,the height for the formation of rain cloud particles,and precipitation intensity.The reflectivity factor Z during this event varied approximately in the range of 18-38 dBZ and the rain droplets formed mainly at the layer of 3,800-4,500 m.MinZhong WANG WenShou WEI Qing HE XinChun LIU ZhongJie ZHAO 2012Journal of Arid Land2012,4,4:1
5Reconstructing the Nonlinear Dynamical Systems by Evolutionary Computation Techniques显示文摘We introduce a new dynamical evolutionary algorithm(DEA) based on the theory of statistical mechanics and investigate the reconstruction problem for the nonlinear dynamical systems using observation data. The convergence of the algorithm is discussed. We make the numerical experiments and test our model using the two famous chaotic systems (mainly the Lorenz and Chen systems). The results show the relatively accurate reconstruction of these chaotic systems based on observational data can be obtained.
