| 1 | Strategies of Removing Residual Lithium Compounds on the Surface of Ni-Rich Cathode Materials显示文摘Ni-rich cathode materials have become one of the most promising cathode materials for advanced high-energy Li-ion batteries(LIBs)owing to their high specific capacity.However,Ni-rich cathode materials are sensitive to the trace H2O and CO2 in the air,and tend to react with them to generate LiOH and Li2COg at the particle surface region(named residual lithium compounds,labeled as RLCs).The RLCs will deteriorate the comprehensive performances of Ni-rich cathode materials and make trouble in the subsequent manufacturing process of electrode,including causing low initial coulombic efficiency and poor storage property,bringing about potential safety hazards,and gelatinizing the electrode slurry.Therefore,it is of considerable significance to remove the RLCs.Researchers have done a lot of work on the corresponding field,such as exploring the formation mechanism and elimination methods.This paper investigates the origin of the surface residual lithium compounds on Ni-rich cathode materials,analyzes their adverse effects on the per-formance and the subsequent electrode production process,and summarizes various kinds of feasible methods for removing the RLCS.Finally,we propose a new research direction of eliminating the lithium residuals after comparing and summing up the above.We hope this work can provide a reference for alleviating the adverse effects of residual lithium compounds for Ni-rich cathode materials'industrial production. | Yuefeng Su Linwei Li Gang Chen Lai Chen Ning Li Yun Lu Liying Bao Shi Chen Feng Wu | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,1: | 4 |
| 2 | Estimating submarine groundwater discharge at a subtropical river estuary along the Beibu Gulf,China显示文摘In certain regions,submarine groundwater discharge(SGD)into the ocean plays a significant role in coastal material fluxes and their biogeochemical cycle;therefore,the impact of SGD on the ecosystem cannot be ignored.In this study,SGD was estimated using naturally occurring radium isotopes(^(223)Ra and ^(224)Ra)in a subtropical estuary along the Beibu Gulf,China.The results showed that the Ra activities of submarine groundwater were approximately 10 times higher than those of surface water.By assuming a steady state and using an Ra mass balance model,the SGD flux in May 2018 was estimated to be 5.98×10^(6) m^(3)/d and 3.60×10^(6) m^(3)/d based on 224Ra and 223Ra,respectively.At the same time,the activities of Ra isotopes fluctuated within a tidal cycle;that is,a lower activity was observed at high tide and a higher activity was seen at low tide.Based on these variations,the average tidal pumping fluxes of SGD were 1.15×10^(6) m^(3)/d and 2.44×10^(6) m^(3)/d with 224Ra and 223Ra,respectively.Tidaldriven SGD accounts for 24%-51%of the total SGD.Therefore,tidal pumping is an important driving force of the SGD in the Dafengjiang River(DFJR)Estuary.Furthermore,the SGD of the DFJR Estuary in the coastal zone contributes significantly to the seawater composition of the Beibu Gulf and the material exchange between land and sea. | Xilong Wang Kaijun Su Juan Du Linwei Li Yanling Lao Guizhen Ning Li Bin | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,9: | 1 |
| 3 | Assessing mechanisms for microbial taxa and community dynamics using process models显示文摘Disentangling the assembly mechanisms controlling community composition,structure,distribution,functions,and dynamics is a central issue in ecology.Although various approaches have been proposed to examine community assembly mechanisms,quanti-tative characterization is challenging,particularly in microbial ecology.Here,we present a novel approach for quantitatively delineating community assembly mechanisms by combining the consumer–resource model with a neutral model in stochastic differential equations.Using time-series data from anaerobic bioreactors that target microbial 16S rRNA genes,we tested the applicability of three ecological models:the consumer–resource model,the neutral model,and the combined model.Our results revealed that model performances varied substantially as a function of population abundance and/or process conditions.The combined model performed best for abundant taxa in the treatment bioreactors where process conditions were manipulated.In contrast,the neutral model showed the best performance for rare taxa.Our analysis further indicated that immigration rates decreased with taxa abundance and com-petitions between taxa were strongly correlated with phylogeny,but within a certain phylogenetic distance only.The determinism underlying taxa and community dynamics were quantitatively assessed,showing greater determinism in the treatment bioreactors that aligned with the subsequent abnormal system functioning.Given its mechanistic basis,the framework developed here is expected to be potentially applicable beyond microbial ecology. | Linwei Wu Yunfeng Yang Daliang Ning Qun Gao Huaqun Yin Naija Xiao Benjamin YZhou Si Chen Qiang He Jizhong Zhou | 2023 | mLife2023,2,3: | 0 |

| 5 | In Vitro Nanobody Library Construction by Using Gene Designated-Region Pan-Editing Technology显示文摘Camelid single-domain antibody fragments(nanobodies)are an emerging force in therapeutic biopharmaceuticals and clinical diagnostic reagents in recent years.Nearly all nanobodies available to date have been obtained by animal immunization,a bottleneck restricting the large-scale application of nanobodies.In this study,we developed three kinds of gene designatedregion pan-editing(GDP)technologies to introduce multiple mutations in complementarity-determining regions(CDRs)of nanobodies in vitro.Including the integration of G-quadruplex fragments in CDRs,which induces the spontaneous multiple mutations in CDRs;however,these mutant sequences are highly similar,resulting in a lack of sequences diversity in the CDRs.We also used CDR-targeting traditional gRNA-guided base-editors,which effectively diversify the CDRs.And most importantly,we developed the self-assembling gRNAs,which are generated by reprogrammed tracrRNA hijacking of endogenous mRNAs as crRNAs.Using base-editors guided by self-assembling gRNAs,we can realize the iteratively diversify the CDRs.And we believe the last GDP technology is highly promising in immunization-free nanobody library construction,and the full development of this novel nanobody discovery platform can realize the synthetic evolution of nanobodies in vitro. | Zhiyuan Niu Zhixia Luo Pengyang Sun Linwei Ning Xinru Jin Guanxu Chen Changjiang Guo Lingtong Zhi Wei Chang Wuling Zhu | 2022 | BioDesign Research2022,,1: | 0 |
