1A large‐scalable spraying‐spinning process for multifunctional electronic yarns显示文摘Electronic fibers/textiles have great potential for applications in smart wearables due to their excellent flexibility,air permeability,and wearing comfort.However,it is still challenging to produce reliable electronic textiles at low cost and in a large scale.Herein,we report a spraying‐spinning process for fabricating electronic yarns with excellent stability and durability.Cotton sliver,which is the raw material for spinning conventional cotton yarns,was spray coated with carbon nanotubes(CNTs)and spun on an Ag@nylon yarn,forming a sheath‐core structured CNT@cotton‐Ag@nylon yarn(CCAY).The process is continuous,large‐scalable,applicable to other raw fiber materials and compatible with traditional textile processes.The as‐prepared CCAY showed superior mechanical durability,washability,and conductivity to typical surface coated yarns.It can be easily processed or integrated into textiles through weaving,knitting,sewing,and embroidering.We systematically studied the electromechanical,electro‐thermal,and photothermal performance of CCAY based yarns/fabrics,demonstrating its versatile applications in smart textiles.In addition,CCAY can be further equipped with other features,such as electro‐thermochromic functions,pH sensing and flame resistant abilities.Considering the large‐scalability,versatility,and low‐cost,we foresee that this spraying‐spinning process for electronic yarns may play important roles in the development of practical smart fibers/textiles.Linli Gan Zhen Zeng Haojie Lu Daiqi Li Ke Wei Guangming Cai Yingying Zhang 2023SmartMat2023,4,2:0
2Nuclear translocation of OsMADS25 facilitated by OsNAR2.1 in reponse to nitrate signals promotes rice root growth by targeting OsMADS27 and OsARF7显示文摘Nitrate is an important nitrogen source and signaling molecule that regulates plant growth and development.Although several components of the nitrate signaling pathway have been identified,the detailed mechanisms are still unclear.Our previous results showed that OsMADS25 can regulate root development in response to nitrate signals,but the mechanism is still unknown.Here,we try to answer two key questions:how does OsMADS25 move from the cytoplasm to the nucleus,and what are the direct target genes activated by OsMADS25 to regulate root growth after it moves to the nucleus in response to nitrate?Our results demonstrated that OsMADS25 moves from the cytoplasm to the nucleus in the presence of nitrate in an OsNAR2.1-dependentmanner.Chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing,chromatin immunoprecipitation qPCR,yeast one-hybrid,and luciferase experiments showed that OsMADS25 directly activates the expression of OsMADS27 and OsARF7,which are reported to be associated with root growth.Finally,OsMADS25-RNAi lines,the Osnar2.1 mutant,and OsMADS25-RNAi Osnar2.1 lines exhibited significantly reduced root growth compared with the wild type in response to nitrate supply,and expression of OsMADS27 and OsARF7 was significantly suppressed in these lines.Collectively,these results reveal a new mechanismby which OsMADS25 interacts with OsNAR2.1.This interaction is required for nuclear accumulation of OsMADS25,which promotes OsMADS27 and OsARF7 expression and root growth in a nitratedependent manner.Junyu Wu Shuaiqi Yang Nana Chen Qining Jiang Linli Huang Jiaxuan Qi Guohua Xu Lisha Shen Hao Yu Xiaorong Fan Yinbo Gan 2023Plant Communications2023,4,6:0
