9Highly sensitive color fine-tuning of diblock copolymeric nano-aggregates with tri-metallic cations,Eu(Ⅲ),Tb(Ⅲ),and Zn(Ⅱ),for flexible photoluminescence films(FPFs)显示文摘Luminescence materials have shown promise as display apparatus and lighting devices.The particularly interesting systems are photoluminescence materials that are capable of reversible colors emitting repeatedly on exposure to light.Here we report a series of color tunable flexible and transparent photoluminescence films consisting of multi-metals(Eu^(3+),Tb^(3+)and Zn^(3+))induced polymer aggregates(MIPAs)which are distributed uniformly in the polyacrylonitrile(PAN)films without agglomeration.MIPAs have a unique spherical structure due to the self-assembly of polystyrene-block-polyacrylic acid(PS-b-PAA)induced by metal ions.Notably,when applied in photoluminescence devices,these photoluminescence films exhibit not only red,green,blue colors(RGB)light,but also other tuned various color light covering the whole visible range upon excitation of 345 nm through adjusting the relative ratios of metal complexes.As the most important key point,non-conductive polymers can be used in photoluminescence devices as host medium,which is not realized in electroluminescent devices.Thus,the flexible photoluminescence films(FPFs)innovated herein exhibit the great potential to apply for flexible light-color and light-energy transformation devices.Xinzhi Wang Yao Wang Xinbo Zhang Wei Ding Longlong Li Linjun Huang Laurence A.Belfiore Jianguo Tang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,6:0
10Embedding copper nanoparticle-anchored conductive nano-blocks in polyelectrolyte显示文摘Conductive carbon nanotubes(CNTs) or alternatively polyaniline(PANI) nano-blocks was introduced into aqueous solutions of polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) and copper(Ⅱ) salt,to assist the reduction of copper(Ⅱ) ions and the anchoring of the resulting copper nanoparticles onto the conductive blocks.The mixture solutions of nano-blocks,copper(Ⅱ) salts and PVA were spin-coated onto the cathode surface,forming swollen cathode films(SCFs).The copper(Ⅱ) ions in the film assembled onto the surfaces of the conductive blocks and were then reduced under an appropriate voltage.It is important that the copper nanoparticles grew only on the surfaces of the conductive blocks.PVA which acted as the matrix of the composites played a role in stabilizing the resulting copper nanoparticles.Morphologies of these polymeric composite films were studied by various characterization methods.Moreover,the mechanism of migration of copper(Ⅱ)ions,the formation of these polymeric composites,and the overall procedure were investigated in detail.Qingsong Xu Jianguo Tang Yao Wang Jixian Liu Zhen Huang Linjun Huang Aihua Li Yuan Wang Laurence A.Belfiore 2013Particuology2013,11,6:0
11Cross-Entropy Minimization Estimation for Two-Phase Sampling and Non-Response显示文摘This paper considers the problem of estimating the finite population total in two-phase sampling when some information on auxiliary variable is available.The authors employ an informationtheoretic approach which makes use of effective distance between the estimated probabiUties and the empirical frequencies.It is shown that the proposed cross-entropy minimization estimator is more efficient than the usual estimator and has some desirable large sample properties.With some necessary modifications,the method can be applied to two-phase sampling for stratification and non-response.A simulation study is presented to assess the finite sample performance of the proposed estimator.WU Changchun TANG Linjun ZHANG Shangli 2015Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2015,28,2:0
12Unravelling the bottleneck of phosphonic acid anchoring groups aiming toward enhancing the stability and efficiency of mesoscopic solar cells显示文摘Novel near-infrared sensitizers with different anchoring groups aiming toward improved stability and efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells were synthesized. Adsorption of these dyes on the mesoporous TiO_(2) surface revealed the dye adsorption rate of –CH=CH–COOH (SQ-139)>–CH=C(CN)COOH (SQ-140)>–PO_(3)H_(2) (SQ-143)>–CH=C(CN)PO_(3)H_(2) (SQ-148)>–CH=C(CN)PO_(3)H–C_(2)H_(5) (SQ-157)>–PO_(3)H–C_(2)H_(5) (SQ-151)> –CH=CH–COOH(–PO_(3)H_(2)) (SQ-162). The binding strength of these dyes on mesoporous TiO_(2) as investigated by dye desorption studies follows SQ-162>SQ-143>SQ-148>SQ-139≫SQ-157~SQ-151≫SQ-140 order. The acrylic acid anchoring group was demonstrated to be an optimum functional group owing to its fast dye adsorption rate and better binding strength on TiO_(2) along with good photoconversion efficiency. Results of dye binding on TiO_(2) surface demonstrated that SQ-162 bearing double anchoring groups of phosphonic and acrylic acid exhibited>550 times stronger binding as compared to dye SQ-140 having cyanoacrylic acid anchoring group. SQ-140 exhibited the best photovoltaic performance with photon harvesting mainly in the far-red to near-infrared wavelength region having short circuit current density, open-circuit voltage and fill factor of 14.28 mA·cm^(–2), 0.64 V and 0.65, respectively, giving the power conversion efficiency of 5.95%.
