| 1 | Blockchain application in healthcare service mode based on Health Data Bank显示文摘Blockchain is commonly considered a potentialdisruptive technology. Moreover, the healthcareindustry has experienced rapid growth in the adoption ofhealth information technology, such as electronic healthrecords and electronic medical records. To guarantee dataprivacy and data security as well as to harness the value ofhealth data, the concept of Health Data Bank (HDB) isproposed. In this study, HDB is defined as an integratedhealth data service institution, which bears no “ownership”of health data and operates health data under the principalagentmodel. This study first comprehensively reviews themain characters of blockchain and identifies the blockchain-based healthcare industry projects and startups in theareas of health insurance, pharmacy, and medical treatment.Then, we analyze the fundamental principles ofHDB and point out four challenges faced by HDB’ssustainable development: (1) privacy protection andinteroperability of health data;(2) data rights;(3) healthdata supervision;(4) and willingness to share health data.We also analyze the important benefits of blockchainadoption in HDB. Furthermore, three application scenariosincluding distributed storage of health data, smart-contractbasedhealthcare service mode, and consensus-algorithmbasedincentive policy are proposed to shed light on HDBbasedhealthcare service mode. | 2 | Multi-stage emergency medicine logistics system optimization based on survival probability显示文摘Using sudden cardiac deaths as an example and maximizing survival rate as the goal, this paper studies the influence of multi-stage medical logistics system optimization on the survival rate of sudden illness. A distribution model of survival is built, drone and ambulance arrival probability over time are discussed, a formula is proposed for maximum possible survival rate based on the probability of emergency medical logistics reaching the patient, and the results are analyzed using empirical data fitting distribution and numerical experiments performed with the model. The model is discussed as a reference point for management decision making by changing model parameters. Results show that compared to using current ambulance vehicles, ambulance drones delivering medical equipment for first aid on-site in emergencies can significantly increase survival rate, and the effect of collaborative multi-stage logistics optimization is better than that of any single stage logistics response optimization. Simulation results show that the medical rescue logistics service radius, speed, loading capacity and performance of ambulance drones impact the probability of survival, and there is an optimal service radius depending on the shape of probability distribution, which provides new information for management decisions. | Ke WANG Yixin LIANG Lindu ZHAO | 2017 | Frontiers of Engineering Management2017,4,2: | 2 |
