1To inhibit coffee ring effect in inkjet printing of light-emitting polymer films by decreasing capillary force显示文摘Polymer thin film with uniform thickness and flat surface profile is the key point for polymer light emitting diodes(PLEDs) by inkjet printing. However, the coffee ring effect is usually observed due to the mismatch between the evaporation of the solvent and the decrease of solution volume, which promotes the formation of radial flow from the interior of the drop to the edge. In this paper, coffee ring effects of inkjet printed poly(spirobifluorene) films were proposed to be restrained by decreasing capillary force by adding co-solvent with high boiling point and high viscosity to the main solvent. The low evaporation rate of the co-solvent can reduce the driving force of the radial flow; meanwhile the high viscosity of the co-solvent can increase the resistance of the radial flow. Thus, polymer films with improve uniformity can be obtained due to the suppression of the radial flow. 2Urban-rural disparities in mild cognitive impairment and its functional subtypes among community- dwelling older residents in central China显示文摘background Substantial variations in the prevalence of mild cognitive impairment(MCI)and its subtypes have been reported,although mostly in geographically defined developed countries and regions.Less is known about MCI and its subtypes in rural areas of less developed central China.Aims The study aimed to compare the prevalence of MCI and its subtypes in residents aged 65 years or older in urban and rural areas of Hubei Province,China.Methods Participants aged 65 years or older were recruited between 2018 and 2019.Inperson structured interviews and clinical and neuropsychological assessments were performed at city health community centres and township hospitals.results Among 2644 participants without dementia,735 had MCI,resulting in a prevalence of 27.8%for total MCI,20.9%for amnestic MCI(aMCI)and 6.9%for non-amnestic MCI(naMCI).The prevalence of MCI in urban and rural areas was 20.2%and 44.1%,respectively.After adjusting for demographic factors,the prevalence of total MCI,aMCI and naMCI differed significantly between rural and urban areas(adjusted odds ratio(OR)2.10,1.44 and 3.76,respectively).Subgroup analysis revealed an association between rural socioeconomic and lifestyle disadvantage and MCI and its subtypes.Conclusions Our findings suggest that the prevalence of MCI among urban residents in central China is consistent with that in other metropolis areas,such as Shanghai,but the prevalence in rural areas is twice that in urban areas.Prospective studies and dementia prevention in China should focus on rural areas.Dan Liu Lin Li Lina An Guirong Cheng Cong Chen Mingjun Zou Bo Zhang Xuguang Gan Lang Xu Yangming Ou Qingming Wu Ru Wang Yan Zeng 2021General Psychiatry2021,34,5:3
3Recent progress of carbon-based metal-free materials in thermal-driven catalysis显示文摘The carbon-based metal-free materials as catalysts(named as carbocatalysts) have been attracting tremendous attentions in electric-,solar-and thermal-driven reactions nowadays.Compared to electrocatalysis and photocatalysis,the thermal-driven catalysis(thermocatalysis) including liquid phase and gas phase reactions involves wider scope and is relatively easy to realize practical large-scale applications.Over the past several years,some striking achievements on the design of new carbon-based metal-free materials with well-defined structures and heteroatom groups as well as the revelation of new reaction mechanisms and active sites in thermocatalysis have been obtained.However,comparative discussions regarding these recent achievements have been rarely highlighted.In this review,we systematically summarize and discuss six kinds of carbocatalysts and their applications in thermocatalysis.These materials include typical oxygen-attached carbon,surface modified carbon(graft with certain organic compounds),mono-doped carbon,co-doped carbon,carbon nitride and materials with carbon as dopant.Some new reaction processes as well as the related reaction mechanisms,active sites and intermediates are reviewed critically.Moreover,an outlook on the in-depth investigation of the metalfree carbocatalysis in the future is provided.Shuchang Wu Linhui Yu Guodong Wen Zailai Xie Yangming Lin 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7:1

6Dgcr8 deletion in the primitive heart uncovered novel microRNA regulating the balance of cardiac-vascular gene program显示文摘Primitive mammalian heart transforms from a single tube to a four-chambered muscular organ during a short developmental window.We found that knocking out global microRNA by deleting Dgcr8 microprocessor in Mespl cardiovascular progenitor cells lead to the formation of extremely dilated and enlarged heart due to defective cardiomyocyte(CM)differentiation.Transcriptome analysis revealed unusual upregulation of vascular gene expression in Dgcr8 cKO hearts.Single cell RNA sequencing study further confirmed the increase of angiogenesis genes in single Dgcr8 cKO CM.We also performed global microRNA profiling of E9.5 heart for the first time,and identified that miR-541 was transiently highly expressed in E9.5 hearts.Interestingly,introducing miR-541 back into microRNA-free CMs partially rescued their defects,downregulated angiogenesis genes and significantly upregulated cardiac genes.Moreover,miR-541 can target Ctgf and inhibit endothelial function.Our results suggest that micro-RNAs are required to suppress abnormal angiogenesis gene program to maintain CM differentiation.Xi Chen Lin Wang Rujin Huang Hui Qiu Peizhe Wang Daren Wu Yonglin Zhu Jia Ming Yangming Wang Jianbin Wang Jie Na 2019Protein & Cell2019,10,5:1
7Berry texture QTL and candidate gene analysis in grape(Vitis vinifera L.)显示文摘Berry texture is a noteworthy economic trait for grape;however,the genetic bases and the complex gene expression and regulatory mechanism for the diverse changes in berry texture are still poorly understood.In this study,the results suggest that it is difficult to obtain high-mesocarp firmness(MesF)and high-pericarp puncture hardness(PPH)grape cultivars with high pericarp brittleness(PerB).The high-density linkage map was constructed using whole-genome resequencing based on 151 F1 individuals originating from intraspecific hybridization between the firm-flesh cultivar‘Red Globe’and soft-flesh cultivar‘Muscat Hamburg’.The total length of the consensus map was 1613.17 cM,with a mean genetic distance between adjacent bin markers of 0.59 cM.Twenty-seven quantitative trait loci(QTLs)for berry MesF,PPH,and PerB were identified in linkage groups(LGs)1,3,4,6,8,9,10,11,14,16,and 17,including twelve QTLs that were firstly detected in LGs 6,11,and 14.Fourteen promising candidate genes were identified from the stable QTL regions in LGs 10,11,14,and 17.In particular,VvWARK2 and VvWARK8 refer to chromosome 17 and are two promising candidate genes for MesF and PPH,as the VvWARK8 gene may increase pectin residue binding with WARK for high berry firmness maintenance and the allele for VvWARK2 carrying the‘CC’and‘GA’genotypes at Chr17:1836764 and Chr17:1836770 may be associated with non-hard texture grape cultivars.In addition,real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)verification revealed that the promising candidate transcription factor genes VvMYB4-like,VvERF113,VvWRKY31,VvWRKY1,and VvNAC83 may regulate cell wall metabolism candidate gene expression for grape berry texture changes.Hong Lin Li Ma Qiuyu Guo Cheng Liu Yangming Hou Zhendong Liu Yuhui Zhao Changyue Jiang Xiuwu Guo Yinshan Guo 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,12:0
8An Evaluation of the Coupling Coordination of Technological Innovation System in China’s Marine Biopharmaceutical Industry显示文摘The marine biopharmaceutical industry(MBI)has been considered as an important part of the blue economy.The high-quality development of this industry depends on the high-level coordinated development of technological innovation system(TIS).In the present study,the coupling mechanism of industrial innovation input subsystem and innovation output subsystem was analyzed for the first time.On this basis,the development level and coupling coordination level of TIS in China’s MBI during 2008-2018 were empirically evaluated with the capacity coupling coordination model.Then,the obstacle factors were diagnosed and recognized with the obstacle model.The results showed that the innovation input index fluctuated at a low level in China’s MBI.The innovation output index has basically maintained a growth trend,whereas the quality of development was not high.Although the coupling coordination level of TIS showed a positive change as mild disordered→primary coordinated→well-coordinated,the development type of innovation system has changed from the lagging output of innovation into the lagging input of innovation.Insufficient input of innovation factors remained the main obstacle to the improvement of coordination level.Based on the above analysis,suggestions were put forward from the perspectives of policy and fund guarantees to improve the coupling coordination level in China’s MBI.FU Xiumei ZHENG Yangming LIN Chunyu WANG Ping WANG Changyun 2023Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,1:0
9Probing the intrinsic catalytic activity of carbon nanotubes for the metal-free oxidation of aromatic thiophene compounds in ionic liquids显示文摘A metal-free catalytic system combining oxidized carbon nanotubes (oCNTs) and ionic liquids (ILs) is presented for the oxidation of aromatic thiophene compounds with H2O2 as an oxidant. The oCNTs exhibit impressively high activity and stability in the system, which show an even better performance than those of some reported metal catalysts. The ILs are proved to have indispensable influence on the enhanced catalytic performance of the oCNTs. Detailed characterization by TG-MS and XPS demonstrates that the carbonyl groups are the active sites for the oxidation process, which is further supported by the deactivation and the model catalysts experiments. The quantitative analysis of different oxygen groups in oCNTs could be achieved by an isothermal temperature programmed TG-MS method. The concentration of carbonyl groups is 1.46 mmol per 1 g oCNTs and the tuiriover frequency of oCNTs could also be obtained (10.7 h^-1 in the presence of OmimPF6). 10A pan-coronavirus peptide inhibitor prevents SARS-CoV-2 infection in mice by intranasal delivery显示文摘Coronaviruses(Co Vs)have brought serious threats to humans,particularly severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-Co V-2),which continually evolves into multiple variants.These variants,especially Omicron,reportedly escape therapeutic antibodies and vaccines,indicating an urgent need for new antivirals with pan-SARS-Co V-2 inhibitory activity.We previously reported that a peptide fusion inhibitor,P3,targeting heptad repeated-1(HR1)of SARS-Co V-2 spike(S)protein,could inhibit viral infections.Here,we further designed multiple derivatives of the P3 based on structural analysis and found that one derivative,the P315V3,showed the most efficient antiviral activity against SARS-Co V-2 variants and several other sarbecoviruses,as well as other human-Co Vs(HCo Vs).P315V3 also exhibited effective prophylactic efficacy against the SARS-Co V-2 Delta and Omicron variants in mice via intranasal administration.These results suggest that P315V3,which is in PhaseⅡclinical trial,is promising for further development as a nasal pan-SARS-Co V-2 or pan-Co Vs inhibitor to prevent or treat CoV diseases.Lili Wu Anqi Zheng Yangming Tang Yan Chai Jiantao Chen Lin Cheng Yu Hu Jing Qu Wenwen Lei William Jun Liu Guizhen Wu Shaogui Zeng Hang Yang Qihui Wang George Fu Gao 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,10:0
11Enhancement and recovery of photoluminescence and stability by multifunctional etching ligands treatment for perovskite nanocrystals显示文摘Perovskite nanocrystals(PNCs)have recently become promising optoelectronic materials due to their excellent photophysical properties.However,the highly dynamic binding state between ligands and the surface of PNCs has severely restricted their luminescent properties and stabilities.In this work,1,3-bisbenzyl-2-oxoimidazolidine-4,5-dicarboxylic acid(cycle acid,CA)is introduced as both an etchant and a ligand upon post-synthetic surface treatment of PNCs.By removing the imperfect octahedrons[Pb X_(6)]^(4-)and passivating the surface defects synergistically,this treatment improves photoluminescence quantum yields from 76%to 95%and enhances the stability of PNCs against polar solvent,moisture,heat,and illumination.Meanwhile,CA can effectively and instantly recover the luminescence emission for aged PNCs.As a result,the CA-Cs Pb Br_(3)PNCs and CA-Cs Pb IxBr_(3-x)PNCs are applied as color-converting layers on a blue LED chip for warm white light-emitting diodes(WLEDs)with a color coordinate of(0.41,0.40).Importantly,the CA-based WLED device exhibits superior stability in operational conditions.Yang Zhao Haipeng Zeng Xueqing Cai Yingshan Zhou Yangming Jiang Xin Zheng Lin Li Shujing Zhang Long Luo Weixi Li Xiaoru Zhang Ranran Liu Wenxi Liang Rui Guo Xiong Li 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,1:0
