1Review of the biological and engineering aspects of algae to fuels approach显示文摘Current biofuel production relies on limited arable lands on the earth, and is impossible to meet the biofuel demands.Oil producing algae are alternative biofuel feedstock with potential to meet the world’s ambitious goal to replace fossil fuels. This review provides an overview of the biological and engineering aspects in the production and processing technologies and recent advances in research and development in the algae to fuels approach. The article covers biology, selection and genetic modification of algae species and strains, production systems design, culture media and light management, harvest and dewatering, downstream processing, and environment and economic assessment.Despite the many advances made over several decades, commercialization of algal fuels remains challenging chiefly because of the techno-economic constraints.Technological breakthroughs in all major aspects must take place before commercial production of algal fuels becomes economically viable.Paul Chen Min Min Yifeng Chen Liang Wang Yecong Li Qin Chen Chenguang Wang Yiqin Wan Xiaoquan Wang Yanling Cheng Shaobo Deng Kevin Hennessy Xiangyang Lin Yuhuan Liu Yingkuan Wang Blanca Martinez Roger Ruan 2009International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2009,2,4:9
2Origin and evolution of waters in the Hancheng coal seams, the Ordos Basin,as revealed from water chemistry and isotope(H,O,^(129)I) analyses显示文摘The coal seams in the Permian Taiyuan Formation and the Carboniferous Shanxi Formation are the primary reservoirs for the coalbed methane(CBM)in the Hancheng region in the Ordos Basin. In this paper, the origin and evolution of waters associated with CBM production were studied on the basis of water chemistry and isotopes including the chloride and iodine compositions, oxygen and hydrogen stable isotopes, and radioactive isotope ratio of129I/127I.The ratio of129I/127I of water was determined by accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS).The result shows that the formation water is of NaHCO3and NaCl types with the total dissolved solids(TDS)varying from 1532.29 mg/L to 7061.12 mg/L.The values of129I and I/Cl ratio indicate that the formation waters were diluted by meteoric water.The129I/127I ratios range from 6.6×10 13to 1459.5×10 13.The129I/127I ratios for most of the samples are between the129I/127I initial value and that of recent anthropogenic water. This age of the formation water samples, obtained through the129I decay curve method, ranges from 0 Ma to 18.5 Ma,suggesting that the waters from the Taiyuan Formation and the Shanxi Formation are very young. Two different origins of water are identified in the Hancheng region. One group is dominated by pre-anthropogenic meteoric water, and is characterized by129I/127I ratios lower than the initial value of 15×10 13andδD,δ18O values of waters below the Global Meteoric Water Line. The other group is characterized by129I/127I ratios in excess of 15×10 13,which has undergone variable degrees of dilution by recent anthropogenic water.MA XingZhi SONG Yan LIU ShaoBo JIANG Lin HONG Feng 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,11:8

5The key stage and moment of coalbed gas reservior evolution in the Qinshui Basin,China显示文摘The evolution of coalbed gas reservoir is characterized by coalbed gas geochemistry and gas content. On the basis of burial history and thermal history, the forming process of coalbed gas reservoir and the gas accumulative history in the Qinshui Basin are discussed in this paper. The difference of the thermal history, geochemistry characteristic, and gas accumulative history between Yangcheng and Huozhou areas shows that the formation of coalbed gas reservoir in the Qinshui Basin is controlled by the geological process in the critical stage and the critical moment. The components and isotopes of coalbed methane are determined by the stage at which the coal maturation reaches its maximum rank. The coalbed methane accumulative history is related to the temperature and pressure of the coal burial history, because the coalbed gas is mainly in adsorptive state. It is stated that the gas content in the coal seam is controlled by the moment when the coal seam is uplifted to the shallowest position.ZHAO Mengjun SONG Yan SU Xianbo LIU Shaobo QIN Shengfei HONG Feng LIN Xiaoying 2005Chinese Science Bulletin2005,50,S1:2

9An adjusted ELISpot-based immunoassay for evaluation of SARS-CoV-2-specific T-cell responses显示文摘Like antibody evaluation, using an effective antigen‐specific T‐cell immunity assessment method in coronavirus disease 2019(COVID‐19)patients,survivors and vaccinees is crucial for understanding the immune persistence, prognosis assessment, and vaccine development for COVID‐19.This study evaluated an empirically adjusted enzyme‐linked immunospot assay for detecting severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS‐CoV‐2)‐specific T‐cell immunity in 175 peripheral blood samples from COVID‐19 convalescents and healthy individuals. Results of viral nucleic acid were used as the gold standard of infection confirmation. The SARS‐CoV‐2M peptide pool had higher sensitivity of 85%and specificity of 71%for the single peptide pool. For combined peptide pools, the parallel evaluation(at least one of the peptide pools is positive)of total peptide pools(S1&S2&M&N)had higher sensitivity(up to 93%),and the serial evaluation(all peptide pools are positive)of total peptide pools had higher specificity(up to 100%).The result of the serial evaluation was better than that of the parallel evaluation as a whole. The detection efficiency of M and N peptide pool serial evaluation appeared the highest, with a sensitivity of 80%and specificity of 93%.This T‐cell immunity detection assay introduced in this report can achieve high operability and applicability. Therefore,it can be an effective SARS‐CoV‐2‐specific cellular immune function evaluation method.Hao Lin Jie Zhang Shaobo Dong Yaning Liu Peipei Liu George F.Gao William J.Liu Guizhen Wu 2022Biosafety and Health2022,4,3:1

11Accumulation conditions and key technologies for exploration and development of Qinshui coalbed methane field显示文摘The Qinshui Basin has been explored for more than 60 years through two stages of oil and gas reconnaissance survey and exploration&development of coalbed methane(CBM),it has become the largest CBM industrialization base in China and also is a model which successfully realize commercialization of CBM of high rank coal-bearing basin in the world.Although the high-rank coal field is characterized by low pressure, low permeability, low saturation and strong heterogeneity, the exploration practice and research show that the accumulation conditions of CBM reservoir in the Qinshui Basin are superior. As main productive intervals,No.15 coal seam of Taiyuan Formation and No.3 coal seam of Shanxi Formation respectively belong to the epicontinental-sea carbonate platform sedimentary system and the epicontinental-sea shallow-water delta sedimentary system. The coal seam has large thickness, and is mostly composed of humic coal and mainly contains vitrinite.Affected by tectonic thermal events in the Yanshanian period, the coal rank is high, the adsorption capacity is strong, and the gas content is large.Formation of the CBM reservoir goes through three stages including two stages of hydrocarbon generation, gas phase transformation and sealing of hydrodynamics and roof and floor. In view of the characteristics of the Qinshui Basin topography and the high rank coal,a series of key technologies for exploration and development are developed, including mountainous region seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation technology, drilling and completion technology of multiple wells, drilling and completion technology of multiple horizontal wells dominated by compound V type, deplugging secondary fracturing stimulation technology, control technology of high rank CBM drainage, and CBM gathering and transportation technology, which effectively supports the scale and industrialization development of high rank CBM in the Qinshui Basin.Yan Song Xingzhi Ma Shaobo Liu Lin Jiang Feng Hong Yi Qin 2018Petroleum Research2018,3,4:1
12Favorable Depth Distribution of Coalbed Methane Enrichment and High Yield Zone in Slope Areas显示文摘Objective More than 60%of China’s coalbed methane(CBM)resources are distributed in medium-high rank coalbearing basins.Exploration practices have confirmed that the medium-high rank CBM enrichment and high yield zones are mainly distributed in the slope areas of coal basins and are significantly jointly controlled by gas content and permeability of coal seams. They have an optimal assemblage within a certain depth range。SONG Yan LIU Shaobo MA Xingzhi JIANG Lin HONG Feng 2017Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,1:1
13320-fold luminescence enhancement of [Ru(dpp)3]Cl2 dispersed on PMMA opal photonic crystals and highly improved oxygen sensing performance显示文摘Ru complexes([Ru(dpp)3]Cl2)were spin coated on poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA)opal photonic crystals(PhCs),and a,320-fold luminescence enhancement was observed compared to that on glass, which is the largest luminescence enhancement of dye molecules by the modulation of three-dimensional(3D)PhCs reported until now.The enhancement mechanism was carefully examined and it was shown that the luminescence of[Ru(dpp)3]Cl2 depended on the molecule concentration and temperature. It can be concluded that the suppressed non-radiative relaxation among the molecules and the field enhancement both contribute significantly to the luminescence enhancement. The PMMA PhC/Ru complex composites were then tested for their intracellular oxygen sensing and cell imaging properties;these composites effectively improved the limit of detection(LOD)and the brightness of the cell images.Pingwei Zhou Donglei Zhou Li Tao Yongsheng Zhu Wen Xu Sai Xu Shaobo Cui Lin Xu Hongwei Song 2014Light(Science & Applications)2014,3,1:1

18Coalbed methane reservoir boundaries and sealing mechanism显示文摘It is important to investigate the coalbed methane reservoir boundaries for the classification, exploration, and development of the coalbed methane reservoir. Based on the investigation of the typical coalbed methane reservoirs in the world, the boundaries can be divided into four types: hydrodynamic boundary, air altered boundary, permeability boundary, and fault boundary. Hydrodynamic and air altered boundaries are ubiquitous boundaries for every coalbed methane reservoir. The four types of the fault sealing mechanism in the petroleum geological investigation (diagen- esis, clay smear, juxtaposition and cataclasis) are applied to the fault boundary of the coalbed methane reservoir. The sealing mechanism of the open fault boundary is the same with that of the hydrodynamic sealing boundary. The sealing mechanism of the permeability boundary is firstly classified into capillary pressure sealing and hydrocarbon concentration sealing. There are different controlling boundaries in coalbed methane reservoirs that are in different geological backgrounds. Therefore, the coalbed methane reservoir is diversiform.SU Xianbo LIN Xiaoying LIU Shaobo SONG Yan 2005Chinese Science Bulletin2005,50,S1:1

20Learning rates of regularized regression on the unit sphere显示文摘This paper addresses the learning algorithm on the unit sphere. The main purpose is to present an error analysis for regression generated by regularized least square algorithms with spherical harmonics kernel. The excess error can be estimated by the sum of sample errors and regularization errors. Our study shows that by introducing a suitable spherical harmonics kernel, the regularization parameter can decrease arbitrarily fast with the sample size.CAO FeiLong LIN ShaoBo CHANG XiangYu XU ZongBen 2013Science China Mathematics2013,56,4:1
