Growth and nutrient dynamics of Betula alnoides seedlings under exponential fertilization显示文摘Betula alnoides is a fast-growing hardwood species grown in large plantations in Southeast Asia and South China.Nitrogen requirements for producing robus seedlings, growth and nutrient dynamics were investigated using exponential fertilization treatments.Root collar diameter, height, dry mass and nutrient contents of seedlings increased exponentially in all fertilization treatments as time progressed. Moreover, with water soluble fertilizer(Plant Products plus microelements N–P_2O_5–K_2O:20–20–20),300 mg N seedling^(-1)was adequate.Vector analysis revealed that P was the most responsive nutrient element followed by N and K.Dilutions of N and K were evident in the plants without N addition, which induced initial P sufficiency and then luxury consumption probably due to the antagonistic interaction between N and P.However deficiencies of N,P and K were mostly observed in al exponential regimes during the experiment because seedling growth rate exceeded nutrient uptake rate, inferring that further study on improving the nutrient uptake efficiency is needed.Analysis of relationships among nutrient supply, dry mass,N content and N concentration demonstrated that 100–400 mg N seedling^(-1)induced sufficiency to luxury consumption of nitrogen without significant change in dry mass, and 400 mg N seedling^(-1)is recommended to apply for nutrient loading of seedlings before outplanting. The findings will help improve seedling quality and enhance the production of robust seedlings for plantation forestry of this species. | Lin Chen Chunsheng Wang Bernard Dell Zhigang Zhao Junjie Guo Daping Xu Jie Zeng | 2018 | Journal of Forestry Research2018,29,1: | 14
A method for aircraft magnetic interference compensation based on small signal model and LMS algorithm显示文摘Aeromagnetic interference could not be compensated effectively if the precision of parameters which are solved by the aircraft magnetic field model is low. In order to improve the compensation effect under this condition, a method based on small signal model and least mean square(LMS) algorithm is proposed. According to the method, the initial values of adaptive filter's weight vector are calculated with the solved model parameters through small signal model at first, then the small amount of direction cosine and its derivative are set as the input of the filter, and the small amount of the interference is set as the filter's expected vector. After that, the aircraft magnetic interference is compensated by LMS algorithm. Finally, the method is verified by simulation and experiment. The result shows that the compensation effect can be improved obviously by the LMS algorithm when original solved parameters have low precision. The method can further improve the compensation effect even if the solved parameters have high precision. | Zhou Jianjun Lin Chunsheng Chen Hao | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,6: | 4
Principle and Experimental Verification of Novel Dual Driving Face Rotary Ultrasonic Motor显示文摘Existing rotary ultrasonic motors operating in extreme environments cannot meet the requirements of good environmental adaptability and compact structure at same time, and existing ultrasonic motors with Langevin transducers show better environmental adaptability, but size of these motors are usually big due to the radial arrangement of the Langevin transducers.A novel dual driving face rotary ultrasonic motor is proposed, and its working principle is experimentally verified. The working principle of the novel ultrasonic motor is firstly proposed. The 5th in-plane flexural vibration travelling wave, excited by the Langevin transducers around the stator ring,is used to drive the rotors. Then the finite element method is used in the determination of dimensions of the prototype motor, and the confirmation of its working principle. After that,a laser Doppler vibrometer system is used for measuring the resonance frequency and vibration amplitude of the stator. At last, output characteristics of the prototype motor are measured, environmental adaptability is tested and performance for driving a metal ball is also investigated. At room temperature and 200 V(zero to peak) driving voltage, the motor's no-load speed is 80 r/min,the stalling torque is 0.35 N·m and the maximum output power is 0.85 W.The response time of this motor is 0.96 ms at the room temperature, and it decreases or increases little in cold environment.A metal ball driven by the motor can rotate at 210 r/min with the driving voltage 300 V(zero to peak). Results indicate that the prototype motor has a large output torque and good environmental adaptability.A rotary ultrasonic motor owning compact structure and good environmental adaptability is proposed, and lays the foundations of ultrasonic motors' applications in extreme environments. | LU Xiaolong HU Junhui YANG Lin ZHAO Chunsheng | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,5: | 4
Macrophage membrane-coated nanocarriers Co-Modified by RVG29 and TPP improve brain neuronal mitochondria-targeting and therapeutic efficacy in Alzheimer's disease mice显示文摘Neuronal mitochondrial dysfunction caused by excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)is an early event of sporadic Alzheimer's disease(AD),and considered to be a key pathologic factor in the progression of AD.The targeted delivery of the antioxidants to mitochondria of injured neurons in brain is a promising therapeutic strategy for AD.A safe and effective drug delivery system(DDS)which is able to cross the blood-brain barrier(BBB)and target neuronal mitochondria is necessary.Recently, bioactive materials-based DDS has been widely investigated for the treatment of AD.Herein,we developed macrophage(MA)membrane-coated solid lipid nanoparticles(SLNs)by attaching rabies virus glycoprotein(RVG29)and triphenylphosphine cation(TPP)molecules to the surface of MA membrane(RVG/TPP-MASLNs)for functional antioxidant delivery to neuronal mitochondria.According to the results,MA membranes camouflaged the SLNs from being eliminated by RESrich organs by inheriting the immunological characteristics of macrophages. The unique properties of the DDS after decoration with RVG29 on the surface was demonstrated by the ability to cross the BBB and the selective targeting to neurons. After entering the neurons in CNS,TPP further lead the DDS to mitochondria driven by electric charge. The Genistein(GS)-encapsulated DDS(RVG/TPP-MASLNs-GS)exhibited the most favorable effects on reliveing AD symptoms in vitro and in vivo by the synergies gained from the combination of MA membranes,RVG29 and TPP.These results demonstrated a promising therapeutic candidate for delaying the progression of AD via neuronal mitochondria-targeted delivery by the designed biomimetic nanosystems. | Yang Han Chunhong Gao Hao Wang Jiejie Sun Meng Liang Ye Feng Qianqian Liu Shiyao Fu Lin Cui Chunsheng Gao Yi Li Yang Yang Baoshan Sun | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,2: | 4
A sulfur dioxide polymer prodrug showing combined effect with doxorubicin in combating subcutaneous and metastatic melanoma显示文摘Melanoma,as the most aggressive and treatment-resistant skin malignancy,is responsible for about 80%of all skin cancer mortalities.Prone to invade into the dermis and form distant metastases significantly reduce the patient survival rate. Therefore, early treatment of the melanoma in situ or timely blocking the deterioration of metastases is critical. In this study,a sulfur dioxide(SO_(2))polymer prodrug was designed as both an intracellular glutathione(GSH)-responsive SO_(2) generator and a carrier of doxorubicin(DOX),and used for the treatment of subcutaneous and metastatic melanoma.Firstly, chemical conjugation of 4-N-(2,4-dinitrobenzenesulfonyl)-imino-1-butyric acid(DIBA)onto the side chains of methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)grafted dextran(mPEG-g-Dex)resulted in the synthesis of the amphiphilic polymer prodrug of SO_(2),mPEG-g-Dex(DIBA).The obtained mPEG-g-Dex(DIBA)could self-assemble into stable micellar nanoparticles and exhibited a glutathione-responsive SO_(2) release behavior.Subsequently,DOX was encapsulated into the core of mPEG-g-Dex(DIBA)micelles to form DOX-loaded nanoparticles(PDDN-DOX).The formed PDDN-DOX could be internalized by B16F10 cells and synchronously release DOX and SO_(2) into the tumor cells. As a result,PDDN-DOX exerted synergistic anti-tumor effects in B16F10 melanoma cells because of the oxidative damage properties of SO_(2) and toxic effects of DOX.Furthermore,in vivo experiments verified that PDDN-DOX had great potential for the treatment of subcutaneous and metastasis melanoma.Collectively, our present work demonstrates that the combination of SO_(2)-based gas therapy and chemotherapeutics offers a new avenue for inhibiting melanoma progression and metastases. | Lin An Peng Zhang Wei Shen Xuan Yi Weitian Yin Rihua Jiang Chunsheng Xiao | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,5: | 3
The distribution of chlorophyll a in the tropical eastern Indian Ocean in austral summer显示文摘To study the effect of hydrographic factors on the spatial distributions of chlorophyll a (Chl a), an investigation was carried out in the tropical eastern Indian Ocean (80 -100 E along 7 S, and 7 -18 S along 80 E) in December 2010. The fluorescent method was used to obtain total Chl a and size-fractioned Chl a at the 26 stations. The results show that surface Chl a concentration averaged at (0.168 ± 0.095) mg/m 3 s.d. (range: 0.034-0.475 mg/m 3 ), concentrations appeared to be higher in the west for longitudinal variations, and higher in the north for latitudinal variations. Furthermore, the surface Chl a concentration was lower (0.034-0.066 mg/m 3 ) in the region to the south of 16 S. There was a strong subsurface Chl a maximum layer at all stations and the depth of the Chl a maximum increased towards to the east and south along with the respective nitracline. The spatial variation of Chl a was significant: correlation and regression analysis suggests that it was primarily affected by PO 3 4 , N(NO 3 -N+NO 2 -N) and temperature. Size-fractionated Chl a concentration clearly showed that the study area was a typical oligotrophic open ocean, in which picophytoplankton dominated, accounting for approximately 67.8% of total Chl a, followed by nanophytoplankton (24.5%) and microphytoplankton (7.6%). The two larger fractions were sensitive to the limitation of P, while picophytoplankton was primarily affected by temperature. | HONG Lisha WANG Chunsheng ZHOU Yadong CHEN Mianrun LIU Hongbin LIN Zhongyang SONG Xunshu | 2012 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2012,31,5: | 3
A novel in-plane mode rotary ultrasonic motor显示文摘Ultrasonic motors have the merits of high ratio of torque to volume, high positioning precision, intrinsic holding torque, etc., compared to the conventional electromagnetic motors. There have been several potential applications for this type of motor in aerospace exploration, but bearings and bonding mechanism of the piezoelectric ring in the motors limit the performance of them in the space operation conditions. It is known that the Langevin type transducer has excellent energy efficiency and reliability. Hence using the Langevin type transducer in ultrasonic motors may improve the reliability of piezoelectric motors for space applications. In this study, a novel in-plane mode rotary ultrasonic motor is designed, fabricated, and characterized. The proposed motor operates in in-plane vibration mode which is excited by four Langevin-type bending vibrators separately placed around a ring-shaped stator. Two tapered rotors are assembled to the inner ring of the stator and clamped together by a screw nut. In order to make the motor more stable and convenient to fix, a thin cylindrical support is placed under the stator ring. Due to its no-bearing structure and Langevin transducer excitation, the prototype ultrasonic motor may operate well in aeronautic and astronautic environments. | Lu Xiaolong Hu Junhui Yang Lin Zhao Chunsheng | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,2: | 3
A new method to calculate monthly CO emissions using MOPITT satellite data显示文摘A new method is developed to calculate monthly CO emission data using MOZART modeled and MOPITT observed CO data in 2004. New CO emission data were obtained with budget analysis of the processes controlling CO concentration such as surface emission, transport, chemical transform and dry deposition. MOPITT data were used to constrain the model simulation. New CO emission data agree well with Horowitz’s emissions in the spatial distributions. Horowitz’s emissions are found to underes- timate CO emissions significantly in the industrial areas of Asia and North America, where high CO emissions are mainly due to the anthropogenic activities. New CO emissions can better reflect the more recent CO actual emissions than Horowitz’s. | LIN YunPing ZHAO ChunSheng PENG Li FANG YuanYuan | 2007 | Chinese Science Bulletin2007,52,18: | 3
Effect of Planting Condition and Time on Survival Rate and Growth of Phragmites australis显示文摘The field trial was established to investigate the effects of planting condition(soil water content, soil buried depth, rhizome length)and time on the survival rate and growth of Phragmites australis rhizomes. The results indicated that survival rate and growth of Phragmites australis were affected by soil water content and rhizome length significantly, but not by soil buried depth. The survival rate of Phragmites australis in moist condition was higher than those in natural and flooding conditions.Rhizomes length did not affect survival rate, height and shoot number, but influenced biomass and buds number, which were higher with 15 cm length than those with 30 cm length.Based on the suitable soil water content(moisture)and rhizome length(15 cm),the survival rate of Phragmites australis was the highest when they were planted in May(91%)comparing to June and July. The number of shoots and buds were the highest in June, which had more suitable temperature and light for Phragmites australis to grow. Therefore, the optimizing transplanting condition of Phragmites australis was that rhizomes of 15 cm with some buds were planted in May with moisture(soil water content). | LI Xiaoyu LIN Jixiang YANG Qun MU Chunsheng | 2015 | 湿地科学2015,13,1: | 2

Construction of Streptomyces lydicus A01 transformant with the chit33 gene from Trichoderma harzianum CECT2413 and its biocontrol effect on Fusaria显示文摘Streptomyces lydicus A01 resists many plant pathogens (including Fusarium spp.) by producing the antifungal agent natamycin, which binds to the ergosterol of fungal cell membranes and inhibits the growth of pathogens. Trichoderma harzianum CECT2413 is a widely-distributed soil fungus that antagonizes several plant fungal pathogens (including Fusarium spp.) by producing chi-tinase and degrading chitin, a major component of the fungal cell wall. This study attempted to enhance the biocontrol effect of S. lydicus A01 on Fusarium spp. by transforming the chitinase gene of Trichoderma. Chitinase and natamycin could act synergisti-cally on both the cell walls and cell membranes of pathogens. The 33-kD chitinase-encoding gene (chit33) was cloned and conju-gal-transformed from T. harzianum CECT2413 to S. lydicus A01, and then confirmed via polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assays. Subsequent analyses using the 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid (DNS) method and ultraviolet spectrophotometry showed that compared with its wild type strain (WT), the S. lydicus A01 conjugal transformant (CT) with chit33 gene exhibited substantially higher chi-tinase activity and natamycin production. The resistance of S. lydicus A01-chit33 CT and WT to four Fusaria in crops and vegetables was tested via the cup-plate method. Compared with the WT, the conjugal transformant of S. lydicus A01 with chit33 gene from T. harzianum CECT2413 showed greatly increased biocontrol effect on fusarium disease. This study would be beneficial to the development of high-quality antifungal bio-agents for agricultural applications via the synergy between the previously non-existent and pre-existing functions achieved through heterogeneous gene transformation. | WU Qiong BAI LinQuan LIU WeiCheng LI YingYing LU CaiGe LI YaQian LIN ZhenYa WANG Meng XUE ChunSheng CHEN Jie | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,26: | 1
