3Genome-wide Dissection of Co-selected UV-B Responsive Pathways in the UV-B Adaptation of Qingke显示文摘Qingke (Tibetan hulless barley) has long been cultivated and exposed to long-term and strong UV-B radiation on the Tibetan Plateau, which renders it an ideal species for elucidating novel UV-B responsive mechanisms in plants. Here we report a comprehensive metabolite profiling and metabolite-based genome-wide association study (mGWAS) using 196 diverse qingke and barley accessions. Our results demonstrated both constitutive and induced accumulation, and common genetic regulation, of metabolites from different branches of the phenylpropanoid pathway that are involved in UV-B protection. A total of 90 significant mGWAS loci for these metabolites were identified in barley-qingke differentiation regions, and a number of high-level metabolite trait alleles were found to be significantly enriched in qingke, suggesting co-selection of various phenylpropanoids. Upon dissecting the entire phenylpropanoid pathway, we identified some key determinants controlling natural variation of phenylpropanoid content, including three novel proteins, a flavone C-pentosyltransferase, a tyramine hydroxycinnamoyl acyltransferase, and a MYB transcription factor. 4Review on the NO removal from flue gas by oxidation methods显示文摘Due to the increasingly strict emission standards of NOx on various industries,many traditional flue gas treatment methods have been gradually improved.Except for selective catalytic reduction(SCR)and selective non-catalytic reduction(SNCR)methods to remove NOx from flue gas,theoxidation method is paying more attention to NOx removal now because of the potential to simultaneously remove multiple pollutants from flue gas.This paper summarizes the efficiency,reaction conditions,effect factors,and reaction mechanism of NO oxidation from the aspects of liquid-phase oxidation,gas-phase oxidation,plasma technology,and catalytic oxidation.The effects of free radicals and active components of catalysts on NO oxidation and the combination of various oxidation methods are discussed in detail.The advantages and disadvantages of different oxidation methods are summarized,and the suggestions for future research on NO oxidation are put forward at the end.The review on the NO removal by oxidation methods can provide new ideas for future studies on the NO removal from flue gas.Meng Si Boxiong Shen George Adwek Lifu Xiong Lijun Liu Peng Yuan Hongpei Gao Cai Liang Qihai Guo 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,3:8
5Hydroisomerization performance of platinum supported on ZSM-22/ZSM-23 intergrowth zeolite catalyst显示文摘Hydroisomerization catalysts Pt/ZSM-22,Pt/ZSM-23,and Pt/ZSM-22/ZSM-23 were prepared by supporting Pt on ZSM-22,ZSM-23,and intergrowth zeolite ZSM-22/ZSM-23,respectively.The typical physicochemical properties of these catalysts were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction(XRD),N2 absorption-desorption,Pyridine-Fourier Transform Infrared(Py-FTIR),Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM),X-Ray Fluorescence(XRF),Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM) and NH3-Temperature Programmed Desorption(NH3-TPD),and the performance of these catalysts in n-dodecane hydroisomerization was evaluated in a continuous down-flow fixed bed with a stainless steel tubular reactor.The characterization results indicated that the intergrowth zeolite ZSM-22/ZSM-23 possessed the dual structure of ZSM-22 and ZSM-23,and the catalyst Pt/ZSM-22/ZSM-23 had similar pores and weak acidity to Pt/ZSM-22 and Pt/ZSM-23 catalysts.Moreover,Pt/ZSM-22/ZSM-23 catalyst showed a high selectivity in hydroisomerization of long chain n-alkanes to mono-branched isomers.The evaluation results for n-dodecane hydroisomerization indicated that the activity of Pt/ZSM-22/ZSM-23 was the lowest,while the hydroisomerization selectivity was the highest among the three catalysts.The maximum yield of i-dodecane product was 68.3% over Pt/ZSM-22/ZSM-23 at 320 oC.Chi Kebin Zhao Zhen Tian Zhijian Hu Sheng Yan Lijun Li Tianshu Wang Bingchun Meng Xiangbin Gao Shanbin Tan Mingwei Liu Yanfeng 2013Petroleum Science2013,10,2:8

8Intergrowth texture in Au-Ag-Te minerals from Sandaowanzi gold deposit,Heilongjiang Province:Implications for ore-forming environment显示文摘Sandaowanzi gold deposit,Heilongjiang Province,is the only single telluride type gold deposit so far documented in the world,in which 90% of gold is hosted in gold-silver telluride minerals.Optical microscope observation,scanning electron microscope,electron probe and X-ray diffraction analysis identified abundant intergrowth textures in the Au-Ag-Te minerals,typified by sylvanite-hosting hessite crystals and hessite-hosting petzite crystals.The intergrown minerals and their chemistry are consistent,and the hosted minerals are mostly worm-like or as oriented stripes,evenly distributed in the hosting minerals,with clear and smooth interfaces.These suggest an exsolution origin for the intergrowth texture.With reference to the phase-transformation temperature derived from synthesis experiments of tellurides,the exsolution texture of Au-Ag-Te minerals implies that the veined tellurides formed at 150-220℃.The early stage disseminated tellurides formed at log f(Te 2) from 13.6 to 7.8,log f(S 2) from 11.7 to 7.6,whereas the late stage veined tellurides formed at log f(Te 2) ranging from 11.2 to 9.7 and log f(S 2) from 16.8 to 12.2.XU Hong YU YuXing WU XiangKe YANG LiJun TIAN Zhu GAO Shen WANG QiuShu 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,21:6
9Synthesis of TiO_2 nanoparticles by propane/air turbulent flame CVD process显示文摘Synthesis of TiO2 nanoparticles by the oxidation of titanium tetrachloride (TiCl4) in high-strength propane/air turbulent flame is investigated tentatively for mass production of TiO2 nanoparticles. Effects of reactor heat flux varying from 247 to 627 kJ/m2 s, initial TiO2 number density from 2×1020 to 1×1021 m-3, and apparent residence time of TiO2 nanoparticles in reactor from 0.06 to 0.9 s, on particle morphology, phase composition, UV absorption and photoluminescence (PL) spectra are studied. 10TRDMT1 exhibited protective effects against LPS-induced inflammation in rats through TLR4-NF-κB/MAPK-TNF-αpathway显示文摘Background:Inflammation is a complex physiological and pathological process.Although many types of inflammation are well characterized,their physiological func-tions are largely unknown.tRNA aspartic acid methyltransferase 1(TRDMT1)has been implicated as a stress-related protein,but its intrinsic biological role is unclear.Methods:We constructed a Trdmt1 knockout rat and adopted the LPS-induced sepsis model.Survival curve,histopathological examination,expression of inflammatory fac-tors,and protein level of TLR4 pathway were analyzed.Results:Trdmt1 deletion had no obvious impact on development and growth.Trdmt1 de-letion slightly increased the mortality during aging.Our data showed that Trdmt1 strongly responded in LPS-treated rats,and Trdmt1 knockout rats were vulnerable to LPS treat-ment with declined survival rate.We also observed more aggravated tissue damage and more cumulative functional cell degeneration in LPS-treated knockout rats compared with control rats.Further studies showed upregulated TNF-αlevel in liver,spleen,lung,and serum tissues,which may be explained by enhanced p65 and p38 phosphorylation.Conclusions:Our data demonstrated that Trdmt1 plays a protective role in inflamma-tion by regulating the TLR4-NF-κB/MAPK-TNF-αpathway.This work provides useful information to understand the TRDMT1 function in inflammation.Zhengguang Li Xiaolong Qi Xu Zhang Lei Yu Lijuan Gao Weining Kong Wei Chen Wei Dong Lijun Luo Dan Lu Lianfeng Zhang Yuanwu Ma 2022Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2022,5,2:5
11Catalysis under shell: Improved CO oxidation reaction confined in Pt@h-BN core-shell nanoreactors显示文摘Core-shell nanostructures consisting of active metal cores and protective shells often exhibit enhanced catalytic performance, in which reactants can access a small part of the core surfaces through the pores in the shells. In this study, we show that Pt nanoparticles (NPs) can be embedded into few-layer hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) overlayers, forming Pt@h-BN core-shell nanocatalysts. The h-BN shells not only protect the Pt NPs under harsh conditions but also allow gaseous molecules such as CO and O2 to access a large part of the Pt surfaces through a facile intercalation process. As a result, the Pt@h-BN nanostructures act as nanoreactors, and CO oxidation reactions with improved activity, selectivity, and stability occur at the core-shell interfaces. The confinement effect exerted by the h-BN shells promotes the Pt-catalyzed reactions. 13Recovery of coupled networks after cascading failures显示文摘With society's increasing dependence on critical infrastructure such as power grids and communications systems, the robustness of these systems has attracted significant attention.Failure of some nodes can trigger a cascading failure, which completely fragments the network, necessitating recovery efforts to improve robustness of complex systems. Inspired by real-world scenarios, this paper proposes repair models after two kinds of network failures, namely complete and incomplete collapse. In both models, three kinds of repair strategies are possible, including random selection(RS), node selection based on single network node degree(SD), and node selection based on double network node degree(DD). We find that the node correlation in each of the two coupled networks affects repair efficiency. Numerical simulation and analysis results suggest that the repair node ratio and repair strategies may have a significant impact on the economics of the repair process. 14Defect-mediated reactivity of Pt/TiO2 catalysts:the different role of titanium and oxygen vacancies显示文摘Defects are ubiquitous in oxide supports and can often tune the catalytic property of supported metal catalysts.This work describes the distinct role of titanium and oxygen vacancies of TiO2 supports in the catalytic performance of supported Pt catalysts for CO oxidation.Pt was loaded on the TiO2 supports with oxygen vacancies(VO-TiO2)and titanium vacancies(VTiTiO2).It was found that different defects of TiO2 could distinctively modify the electron property of Pt and thereby CO adsorption strength.The strength of CO adsorption on Pt/VTi-TiO2 is enhanced,while that of Pt/VO-TiO2 becomes weaker.Additionally,the presence of defects would also promote the reducibility of catalysts.On the account of the superior redox ability,both Pt/VTi-TiO2 and Pt/VO-TiO2 exhibit a higher activity than Pt supported on normal TiO2 for CO oxidation.Quan Xiao Yanan Wang Zhi-Jian Zhao Chunlei Pei Sai Chen Lijun Gao Rentao Mu Qiang Fu Jinlong Gong 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,9:4
15Target Tracking Algorithm Using Finite-time Convergence Smooth Second-order Sliding Mode Controller for Mobile Robots显示文摘Target tracking control for wheeled mobile robot (WMR) need resolve the problems of kinematics model and tracking algorithm.High-order sliding mode control is a valid method used in the nonlinear tracking control system,which can eliminate the chattering of sliding mode control.Currently there lacks the research of robustness and uncertain factors for high-order sliding mode control.To address the fast convergence and robustness problems of tracking target,the tracking mathematical model of WMR and the target is derived.Based on the finite-time convergence theory and second order sliding mode method,a nonlinear tracking algorithm is designed which guarantees that WMR can catch the target in finite time.At the same time an observer is applied to substitute the uncertain acceleration of the target,then a smooth nonlinear tracking algorithm is proposed.Based on Lyapunov stability theory and finite-time convergence,a finite time convergent smooth second order sliding mode controller and a target tracking algorithm are designed by using second order sliding mode method.The simulation results verified that WMR can catch up the target quickly and reduce the control discontinuity of the velocity of WMR.GE Lianzheng ZHAO Lijun GAO Tong 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,3:4
16Do migrant and resident species differ in the timing of increases in reproductive and thyroid hormone secretion and body mass? A case study in the comparison of pre-breeding physiological rhythms in the Eurasian Skylark and Asian Short-toed Lark显示文摘Background:Physiological preparation for reproduction in small passerines involves the increased secretion of reproductive hormones, elevation of the metabolic rate and energy storage, all of which are essential for reproduction. However, it is unclear whether the timing of the physiological processes involved is the same in resident and migrant species that breed in the same area. To answer this question, we compared temporal variation in the plasma concentration of luteinizing hormone(LH), testosterone(T), estradiol(E_2), triiothyronine(T_3) and body mass, between a migrant species, the Eurasian Skylark(Alauda arvensis) and a resident species, the Asian Short-toed Lark(Calandrella cheleensis), both of which breed in northeastern Inner Mongolia, China, during the 2014 and 2015 breeding seasons.Methods:Twenty adult Eurasian Skylarks and twenty Asian Short-toed Larks were captured on March 15, 2014 and 2015 and housed in out-door aviaries. Plasma LH, T(males), E_2(females), T_3 and the body mass of each bird were measured every six days from March 25 to May 6.Results:With the exception of T, which peaked earlier in the Asian Short-toed Lark in 2014, plasma concentrations of LH, T, E_2 and T_3 of both species peaked at almost the same time. However, Asian Short-toed Larks attained peak body mass earlier than Eurasian Skylarks. Plasma T_3 concentrations peaked 12 days earlier than plasma LH in both species. Generally, plasma LH, T, E_2, T_3 and body mass, peaked earlier in both species in 2014 than 2015.Conclusions:The timing of pre-reproductive changes in the endocrine system and energy metabolism can be the same in migrant and resident species; however, residents may accumulate energy reserves faster than migrants. Although migration does not affect the timing of pre-breeding reproductive and metabolic changes, migrant species may need more time to increase their body mass. 17Improved and excellent CO sensing properties of Cu-doped TiO_2 nanofibers显示文摘Cu-doped TiO2 nanofibers with an average diameter of about 80 nm are synthesized through an electrospinning method. Both anatase and rutile crystallographic structures are found in the fibers based on XRD results. Compared with pure TiO2 nanofibers, the Cu-doped TiO2 nanofibers exhibit improved CO sensing properties at 300°C. The sensitivity of Cu-doped TiO2 nanofibers is up to 3 when the sensor is exposed to 5 ppm CO, and the response and recovery times are about 4 and 8 s, respectively. Good selectivity is also observed in our investigations. Effects of inlet benzene concentration from 10 to 300 g/m 3 , rutile mass fraction from about 20 to 50% and photoluminescence (PL) intensity of TiO 2 nanoparticles on degradation degree are examined under the conditions of 70% relative humidity, 38 g/cm 2 catalyst loading, 24 mW/cm 2 UV irradiation of 254 nm and 5.7 s residence time in the reactor. 19Improving the Weld Formation and Mechanical Properties of the AA-5A06 Friction Pull Plug Welds by Axial Force Control显示文摘In the present study, the weld formation and mechanical properties of the AA-5A06 friction pull plug welded(FPPW) joints were improved by controlling the axial force history. Several defect-free FPPW joints were made successfully by using the welding parameters of 15–20 k N/s axial loading rate, 20–30 k N axial welding force and 6–7 mm axial feeding displacement. The results indicated that using higher axial loading rate and axial welding force produced more stable heat generation and shorter frictional heating time between the frictional interface. In this case, the plastic flow of the materials around the hole could be further improved since the axial feeding displacement of the plug was increased. The maximum ultimate tensile strength(UTS) and elongation of the FPPW 5A06 joints were 314 MPa and 4.8%, respectively. The thermal mechanically affect zone(TMAZ) had the lowest hardness value throughout the joint and was found as the fracture location to all the tensile samples. 20Etiology and Treatment of Post-surgical Blepharoptosis显示文摘Purpose: To investigate the etiology and the treatment of acquired blepharoptosis inpatients,.especially secondary to surgery.Methods: The clinical records of 65 consecutive patients with acquired ptosis were reviewed from an eye center and a comprehensive hospital..Potential factors responsible for acquired ptosis were investigated..Surgical management principles and post-operative exposure keratitis are discussed.Results:.The top three causes of acquired ptosis were postsurgical ptosis(20 / 65, 30.8%), traumatic ptosis(17 / 65,26.2%) and senile aponeurotic ptosis(12 / 65, 18.5%). Twenty patients had post-surgical ptosis secondary to orbital surgery(8 / 20, 40.0%), enucleation and hydroxyapatite(HA) artificial eye implantation(4 / 20, 20%), eyelid surgery(3 / 20,15%), cataract or glaucoma surgery(2 / 20, 10%), conjunctive surgery(2 / 20, 10%).and superior oblique muscle surgery(1 / 20, 5%). The levator palpebrae superioris(LPS) muscle of ten eyes(10 / 20, 50%) was found during exploration and reattached to the tarsal plate, with shortening of the LPS. Nine eyes(9 / 20, 45%) underwent a frontalis suspension(FS) operation because the LPS muscle was missing. One(1 / 20, 5%)patient was not operated on due to a poor Bell's phenomenon.Two patients(2 / 65, 3.1%)—one patient with post-surgical ptosis and another with aponeurotic ptosis—developed exposure keratitis after ptosis correction.Conclusion: Post-surgical ptosis is one of the most common causes of acquired ptosis. It is important to explore LPS muscle during surgery. LPS reattachment is performed if the muscle is found; otherwise, a FS operation is chosen.
