2Effects of phosvitin phosphopeptide-Ca complex prepared by efficient enzymatic hydrolysis on calcium absorption and bone deposition of mice显示文摘Phosvitin(PV)was treated with high-temperature,mild pressure(HTMP),and enzyme combination,and then phosvitin phosphopeptides-calcium(PPP-Ca)complexes were prepared.The low-calcium specific pathogen free-Kunming(SPF-KM)mice were used to determine the effect of PPP-Ca complexes on intestinal calcium absorption and their utilization for bone formation.The serum calcium content was the highest with the HTMP-Enz-PPP-Ca treatment(2.19 mmol/L),and it significantly down-regulated the abnormal elevation of serum alkaline phosphatase(AKP)caused by calcium deficiency.The low-calcium control group had the lowest calcium deposited to the femur(80.41 mg/g)and the lowest femur bone mineral density(BMD)(0.17 g/cm^(3)),while HTMP-Enz-PPP-Ca significantly improved bone calcium content(94.33 mg/g)and BMD(0.29 g/cm^(3)).The micro-computed tomography(MCT)images showed that the femur with the normal control,PV-Ca,and HTMP-Enz-PPP-Ca treatments had a more compact,complete,and thicker trabecular network than the low-calcium and CaCl_(2)treatments.These results indicated that the organic calcium(HTMP-Enz-PPP-Ca)promoted calcium absorption and bone deposition,and the effect of HTMP-Enz-PPP-Ca was better than the inorganic CaCl_(2).Mengdie Zhao Dong Uk Ahn Songming Li Wei Liu Shengwei Yi Xi Huang 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,6:3
3Geochronology,Petrogenesis and Tectonic Setting of the Late Jurassic I-type Granites in the North Qinling Orogenic Belt,Central China显示文摘The North Qinling Orogenic Belt(NQOB)is a composite orogenic belt in central China.It started evolving during the Meso-Neoproterozoic period and underwent multiple stages of plate subduction and collision before entering intra-continental orogeny in the Late Triassic.The Meso-Cenozoic intra-continental orogeny and tectonic evolution had different responses in various terranes of the belt,with the tectonic evolution of the middle part of the belt being particularly controversial.The granites distributed in the Dayu and Kuyu areas in the middle part of the NQOB can provide an important window for revealing the geodynamic mechanisms of the NQOB.The main lithology of Dayu and Kuyu granites is biotite monzogranite,and the zircon U-Pb dating yielded intrusive ages of 151.3±3.4 Ma and 147.7±1.5 Ma,respectively.The dates suggest that the biotite monzogranite were formed at the end of the Late Jurassic.The whole-rock geochemistry analysis shows that the granites in the study areas are characterized by slightly high SiO_(2)(64.50-68.88 wt%)and high Al_(2)O_(3)(15.12-16.24 wt%)and Na_(2)O(3.55-3.80 wt%)contents.They are also enriched in light rare earth elements,large ion lithophile elements(e.g.,Ba,K,La,Pb and Sr),and depleted in high field strength elements(HFSEs)(e.g.,Ta,Nb,P and Ti).Additionally,the granites have weakly negative-slightly positive Eu anomalies(δEu=0.91-1.19).Zircon Lu-Hf isotopic analysis showedε_(Hf)(t)=-6.1--3.8,and the two-stage model age is T_(2DM(crust))=1.5-1.6 Ga.The granites in the study areas are analyzed as weak peraluminous high-K calc-alkaline I-type granites.They formed by partial melting of the thickened ancient lower crust,accompanied by the addition of minor mantle-derived materials.During magma ascent,they experienced fractional crystallization,with residual garnet and amphibole for a certain proportion in the magma source region.Comprehensive the geotectonic data suggest that the end of the Late Jurassic granite magmatism in the Dayu and Kuyu areas represents a compression-extension transition regime.It may have been a response to multiple tectonic mechanisms,such as the late Mesozoic intra-continental southward subduction of the North China Craton and the remote effect of the Paleo-Pacific Plate subduction.HUANG Yanna LI Dunpeng XIAO Aifang XU Songming 2023Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,4:1
4Metalens-based stereoscopic microscope显示文摘Stereoscopic microscopy is a promising technology to obtain three-dimensional microscopic images.Such microscopes are based on the parallax effect,and as such require two lenses to focus at two different points.Geometrical constraints,however,restrict their numerical apertures to about 0.2,thus limiting the system’s resolution.Higher numerical apertures(.35)can be achieved with designs using only one bulk lens,but such systems are0 times more costly than the conventional ones.Thus,there is a pressing need for alternative solutions to improve the resolution of stereoscopic systems.Here,we show that high-resolution and low-cost stereoscopic systems can be obtained using birefringent single-layer metalenses.We design and fabricate a birefringent metalens operating at 532 nm with a numerical aperture as high as 0.4.The metalens is then used to demonstrate high-resolution stereoscopic imaging of biological samples.The microscopic images are further displayed and perceived vividly in an autostereoscopic display.Our demonstration paves the way to a new strategy to achieve high-resolution and low-cost stereoscopic microscopes.YONG LONG JIANCHAO ZHANG ZHIHAO LIU WEIBIN FENG SONGMING GUO QIAN SUN QINFEI WU XIANGYANG YU JIANYING ZHOU EMILIANO RMARTINS HAOWEN LIANG JUNTAO LI 2022Photonics Research2022,10,6:1

6Effects of lighting mode on the growth performance,cortisol level and oxidative stress of juvenile Chinese three-keeled pond turtle(Chinemys Reevesii)显示文摘To improve the light environment and welfare of the turtle cultured indoors,the effects of lighting mode on growth performance,cortisol level,and oxidative stress of juvenile Chinese three-keeled pond turtle,Chinemys reevesii,were investigated in this study.The experimental turtles with an initial weight of 5.61±0.09 g were reared in tanks under four different lighting modes:three groups with light(lighting the basking area and water area,LBW;lighting the water area only,LW;lighting the basking area only,LB)and control group(no light,NL).The experiment was conducted for more than six months,with each group having three replicates.After 203 d of the experiment,the turtle in the LW group exhibited higher weight gain rate(WGR)and a specific growth rate(SGR,%/d)compared to other treatments.Also,results showed that the final body weight of the turtle exposed to LW was higher than that exposed to other treatments.On the physiological level,serum cortisol level in turtles exposed to LW was significantly lower than that in other treatments.Regarding oxidative stress,the level of catalase(CAT)in turtles exposed to LW and LB was significantly lower than that exposed to LBW and NL.The malonaldehyde(MDA)activity in turtles exposed to LW was significantly lower than other treatments.Based on the growth performance and health status,it is suggested that lighting the water area only is the optimal lighting mode for the juvenile threekeeled pond turtle cultured indoors.Haijun Li Jianlin Guo Jian Zhao Zhangying Ye Mingdong Ji Songming Zhu 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,4:0
7Structural and Regulating Characteristics of Adjustable Annulus-clearance Nozzle Used in Supercritical Fluid Precipitation显示文摘A new type of adjustable nozzle with an annulus clearance between the surfaces of a revolved solid and the matched hole was analyzed, which contained matching parts, regulating parts, guiding elements, and sealing part. The general regulating function of the adjustable nozzle was derived and the regulating and matching characteristics were also analyzed. Through the analysis, it was concluded that the matching-profile curve of either the revolved body or matched hole should be chosen as a straight line in order to keep the linear regulating feature. Moreover, the multi-annulus-clearance nozzle was designed, and some experiments were carried out on preparing budesonide particles with the nozzle. 8AMMONIA DISPERSION FROM MULTI-FLOOR VERSUS STANDARD SINGLE-FLOOR PIG PRODUCTION FACILITIES BASED ON COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS SIMULATIONS显示文摘Multi-floor buildings for raising pigs have recently attracted widespread attention as an emerging form of intensive livestock production especially in eastern China,due to the fact that they can feed a much larger number of animals per unit area of land and thus alleviate the shortage of land available for standard single-floor pig production facilities.However,this more intensive kind of pig building will pose new challenges to the local environment in terms of pollutant dispersion.To compare the dispersion air pollutants(ammonia as a representative)emitted from multi-versus single-floor pig buildings,ammonia dispersion distance and concentration gradients were investigated through three-dimensional simulations based on computational fluid dynamics.The validation of an isolated cubic model was made to ensure the simulation method was effective.The effects of wind direction,wind speed and emission source concentration at 1.5 m(approximate human inhalation height)during summer were investigated.The results showed that the ammonia dispersion distance of the multi-floor pig building was far greater than that of the single-floor building on a plane of Z=1.5 m.When the wind direction was 67.5°,the wind speed was 2 m·s^(−1) and the emission source concentration was 20 ppmv,the dispersion distance of the multi-floor pig building could reach 1380 m.Meanwhile,the ammonia could accumulate in the yard to 7.68 ppmv.Therefore,future site selection,wind speed and source concentration need to be given serious consideration.Based on the simulation used in this study with source concentration is 20 ppmv,the multi-floor pig buildings should be located 1.4 km away from residential areas to avoid affecting residents.The results of this study should guidance for any future development of multi-floor pig buildings.Yicong XIN Li RONG Gunther SCHAUBERGER Dejia LIU Xiusong LI Zhihua YANG Songming ZHU Dezhao LIU 2023Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2023,10,3:0

10ANumericalMethod for Solving Elasticity Equations with Interfaces显示文摘Solving elasticity equationswith interfaces is a challenging problemformost existing methods.Nonetheless,it has wide applications in engineering and science.An accurate and efficient method is desired.In this paper,an efficient non-traditional finite element method with non-body-fitting grids is proposed to solve elasticity equations with interfaces.The main idea is to choose the test function basis to be the standard finite element basis independent of the interface and to choose the solution basis to be piecewise linear satisfying the jump conditions across the interface.The resulting linear system of equations is shown to be positive definite under certain assumptions.Numerical experiments show that thismethod is second order accurate in the L¥norm for piecewise smooth solutions.More than 1.5th order accuracy is observed for solution with singularity(second derivative blows up)on the sharp-edged interface corner.Songming Hou Zhilin Li Liqun Wang Wei Wang 2012Communications in Computational Physics2012,12,7:0
