| 1 | Effects of calcium treatment on non-metallic inclusions and magnetic properties of non-oriented silicon steel sheets显示文摘Based on the industrial production of non-oriented silicon steel,calcium treatment by CaSi wire feeding during the RH refining process was studied.The thermodynamics of CaS inclusion formation was analyzed,and the morphology and the size distribution were observed.Furthermore,the change in inclusion characteristics after calcium treatment and the effect of calcium treatment on magnetic properties were discussed.The results show that the formation of MnS and AlN inclusions were restrained,and the aggregating,floating and removing of microinclusions after calcium treatment were effectively promoted.The cleanliness of liquid steel was obviously increased.The main type of inclusions was single phase of CaO,with some complex inclusions composed of CaO,SiO2 and MgO.No CaS inclusion was observed after an appropriate calcium treatment.The size of all inclusions was distributed in the range of 2-20 μm,and the number was about 1.8×105 /mm3.In addition,as an increasing amount of calcium was added,the core loss gradually decreased to a stable level,and the magnetic induction decreased quickly after a slow increase.The optimal calcium treatment mode depends on the chemical composition of steel. | ZHANG Feng MIAO Lede ZONG Zhenyu WANG Bo ZHANG Yi MA Zhigang | 2013 | Baosteel Technical Research2013,7,1: | 7 |

| 3 | Electrochemical extraction and the analysis of inter-metallic phases and nitrides in tempered duplex stainless steels显示文摘During aging at a temperature ranging from 650-950 ℃,the ferric matrix in duplex stainless steels undergoes various decomposition processes which could form the precipitates of the Sigma (σ) and Chi(χ) phases,as well as nitrides.It is well known that these precipitates lead to a reduction in creep ductility and adversely affect toughness and corrosion properties of steel.This experiment carried out qualitative and quantitative analyses of intermetallic phases and nitrides and established an analytical procedure,including specimen preparation,the choosing of the electrolyte and electrolytic systems,electrolytic isolation,wet chemical separation,and physical and chemical analysis,etc.The residues were collected by ultrasonic cleaning and filtration after galvanostatic electrolysis.Dynamic laser scattering sizer (DLS-sizer),scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) were used to examine their structure,modality and size.Qualitative and quantitative analyses were performed by using X-ray diffraction (XRD),oxygen-nitrogen analyzer and wet chemical analysis.Furthermore,there is a discussion on the effect of isothermal treatment on precipitation that occurs at different temperatures for different periods of time. | MIAO Lede ZHANG Yi WANG Zhiyu WU Junfei | 2009 | Baosteel Technical Research2009,3,2: | 2 |
