1MMSE SQRD based SISO detection for coded MIMO-OFDM systems显示文摘In this paper,we propose a minimum mean square error(MMSE)sorted QR decomposition(SQRD)based soft-input soft-output(SISO)detection algorithm for coded multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(MIMO-OFDM)systems.The proposed detection is derived from the SISO MMSE detection,which is a popular detection strategy for iterative receivers.For each transmitted symbol in the proposed detection,a soft successive interference cancellation(SIC)is performed based on a posteriori probabilities of past detected symbols.Simulation results show that the proposed detection,while needing less computational efforts,achieves significant performance gain compared with the SISO MMSE detection.ZHONG Wen LU AnAn GAO XiQi 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,4:3
2A direct spino-cortical circuit bypassing the thalamus modulates nociception显示文摘Nociceptive signals are usually transmitted to layer 4 neurons in somatosensory cortex via the spinothalamic-thalamocortical pathway.The layer 5 corticospinal neurons in sensorimotor cortex are reported to receive the output of neurons in superficial layers;and their descending axons innervate the spinal cord to regulate basic sensorimotor functions.Here,we show that a subset of layer 5 neurons receives spinal inputs through a direct spino-cortical circuit bypassing the thalamus,and thus define these neurons as spino-cortical recipient neurons(SCRNs).Morphological studies revealed that the branches from spinal ascending axons formed a kind of disciform structure with the descending axons from SCRNs in the basilar pontine nucleus(BPN).Electron microscopy and calcium imaging further confirmed that the axon terminals from spinal ascending neurons and SCRNs made functional synaptic contacts in the BPN,linking the ascending sensory pathway to the descending motor control pathway.Furthermore,behavioral tests indicated that the spino-cortical connection in the BPN was involved in nociceptive responses.In vivo calcium imaging showed that SCRNs responded to peripheral noxious stimuli faster than neighboring layer 4 cortical neurons in awake mice.Manipulating activities of SCRNs could modulate nociceptive behaviors.Therefore,this direct spino-cortical circuit represents a noncanonical pathway,allowing a fast sensory-motor transition of the brain in response to noxious stimuli.Bing Cai Dan Wu Hong Xie Yan Chen Huadong Wang Sen Jin Yuran Song Anan Li Shiqi Huang Sashuang Wang Yingjin Lu Lan Bao Fuqiang Xu Hui Gong Changlin Li Xu Zhang 2023Cell Research2023,33,10:0
3Deep self-learning enables fast,high-fidelity isotropic resolution restoration for volumetric fluorescence microscopy显示文摘One intrinsic yet critical issue that troubles the field of fluorescence microscopy ever since its introduction is the unmatched resolution in the lateral and axial directions(i.e.,resolution anisotropy),which severely deteriorates the quality,reconstruction,and analysis of 3D volume images.By leveraging the natural anisotropy,we present a deep self-learning method termed Self-Net that significantly improves the resolution of axial images by using the lateral images from the same raw dataset as rational targets.By incorporating unsupervised learning for realistic anisotropic degradation and supervised learning for high-fidelity isotropic recovery,our method can effectively suppress the hallucination with substantially enhanced image quality compared to previously reported methods.In the experiments,we show that Self-Net can reconstruct high-fidelity isotropic 3D images from organelle to tissue levels via raw images from various microscopy platforms,e.g.,wide-field,laser-scanning,or super-resolution microscopy.For the first time,Self-Net enables isotropic whole-brain imaging at a voxel resolution of 0.2×0.2×0.2μm^(3),which addresses the last-mile problem of data quality in single-neuron morphology visualization and reconstruction with minimal effort and cost.Overall,Self-Net is a promising approach to overcoming the inherent resolution anisotropy for all classes of 3D fluorescence microscopy.Kefu Ning Bolin Lu Xiaojun Wang Xiaoyu Zhang Shuo Nie Tao Jiang Anan Li Guoqing Fan Xiaofeng Wang Qingming Luo Hui Gong Jing Yuan 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,9:0
