| 3 | Characterization and Proteomic Analysis of Novel Rice Lesion Mimic Mutant with Enhanced Disease Resistance显示文摘Lesion mmic mutants(LMMs)are plants that spontaneously form lesions without pathogeninfection or external stimulus and exhibit resistance to pathogens.Here,a rice LMM was created by ethylmethane sulfonate mutagenesis,named as hpil(hydrogen peroxide induced lesion).Diaminobenzidineand trypan blue staining showed that large amounts of H_(2)O_(2) were produced and cell death was occurredat and around the parts of lesion mimic in the rice leaves.The phenotype of hpil is controlled by a singlerecessive gene,localized at a 2 Mb interval on chromosome 2.The data suggested that hpil is a novelLMM with enhanced bacterial and fungal disease resistance,and multiple pathogenesis-related proteins(PRs)were up-regulated.The proteomes of leaves at three positions(different degrees of lesion mimicseverity)were characterized in hpil compared with its wild type plant.Differentially expressed proteinswere detected by two dimensional difference gel electrophoresis and 274 proteins were identified byMALDITOF/TOFTM.These proteins were related to metabolic process,cellular process and response tostimulus,with mostly down-regulated in hpil leaves.Many of these proteins were related to the Calvincycle,photosynthetic electron transport chain,glycolysis/gluconeogenesis and phosphonates pathways.Some resistance-related proteins including 14-3-3 proteins,OsPR10 and antioxidases such asperoxidase,superoxide dismutase and ascorbate peroxidase were up-regulated in leaves with lesionmimic.These results provide the foundation for cloning of the target gene and shed light on themechanism involved in autaimmunity of rice. | Yang Yong Lin Qiujun Chen Xinyu Liang Weifang Fu Yuwen Xu Zhengjin Wu Yuanhua Wang Xuming Zhou Jie Yu Chulang Yan Chengqi Mei Qiong Chen Jianping | 2021 | Rice science2021,28,5: | 2 |

| 5 | Extended local resection for treatment of periampullary carcinoma of vater显示文摘BACKGROUND: The trauma caused by pancreatoduode- nectomy for periampullary carcinoma of vater is often se- vere and extensive. The purpose of this study was to eva- luate the effect of extended local resection in the treatment of periampullary carcinoma of vater. METHODS: The extra-hepaticobiliary tract, the confluence of the pancreatic and biliary duct, vater ampulla and duo- denal papilla were resected en bloc in 8 patients with peri- ampullary carcinoma from 1995 to 1998. RESULTS: One patient died perioperatively. Duodenal ob- struction developed postoperatively in one of 7 survived pa- tients and was relieved after reoperation. All the 7 patients were followed up for more than 6 months without recur- rence. | 6 | Study of the Effect of Preoperative Dietary Intervention on Gastrointestinal Reaction of Microparticle TACE显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the effect of preoperative dietary intervention on the gastrointestinal reaction of microparticle transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE).Methods:A total of 60 patients with primary liver cancer who were treated in our hospital from January 2018 to October 2018 were selected for this study.The random sampling method was used to divide the patients into an intervention group(30 cases)and a control group(30 cases).The control group received routine intervention,whereas the intervention group received optimized nursing intervention.The incidence of gastrointestinal reactions,the vomiting frequency,the average vomiting volume,the incidence of stomach discomfort,the quality of life,and the anxiety and depression indicators of both groups were compared.Results:The results of all indicators of the intervention group were better than those of the control group.The incidence of gastrointestinal reactions in the intervention group was 13.9%,which was lower than 43.3%of the control group.The scores of QLQ-C30 of the intervention group were higher than those of the control group;the SAS and SDS scores in the intervention group were lower than those of the control group.Conclusion:Preoperative dietary intervention can reduce the incidence of gastrointestinal reactions of microparticle TACE and improve the symptoms of gastric discomfort among patients. | Weifang Liu Jingyi Lin | 2023 | Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2023,7,6: | 0 |

| 8 | Boosting lifespan of conversion-reaction anodes for full/half potassium-ion batteries via multi-dimensional carbon nano-architectures confinement effect显示文摘Transition metal selenides are regarded as prospective conversion-reaction anodes for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)because of their relatively high electrical conductivity,large theoretical specific capacity,abundant resources and low cost.The challenge of the metal selenides originates from a serious volume change during cycling,which induces serious structural collapse and fast capacity degradation.In the present work,the multi-dimensional carbon nano-architectures confined bimetallic selenides(ZnSe/CoSe_(2)@N-CNTs/rGO)were constructed by a facile MOF-assisted strategy.In such special nanoarchitectures,N-doped CNTs protect the metal selenides centers from serious volume expansion/electrode pulverization,as well as improve the sluggish kinetics.ZnSe/CoSe_(2)@N-CNTs/rGO electrode boosts the lifespan of half PIBs with a large discharge specific capacity of 200 m Ah g^(-1)at 2 A g^(-1)after 3800 cycles.The full PIBs battery with ZnSe/CoSe_(2)@N-CNTs/rGO electrode as anode and Prussian blue as cathode exhibits well electrochemical performance(151 m Ah g^(-1)at 100 m A g^(-1)after 100 cycles).DFT calculation suggests that the CNTs could change the K+adsorption energy and decrease K+diffusion energy barrier,which dramatically enhances K+storage kinetics.This work offers an effective material engineering approach for designing hierarchical“all-in-one”electrodes with high excellent cycling stability for PIBs. | Weifang Zhao Xinyue Xu Lin Wang Ying Liu Tengfei Zhou Shilin Zhang Juncheng Hu Qingqing Jiang | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,,12: | 0 |
| 9 | Single-cell RNA sequencing reveals the developmental program underlying proximal–distal patterning of the human lung at the embryonic stage显示文摘The lung is the primary respiratory organ in human, in which the proximal airway and the distal alveoli are responsible for air conduction and gas exchange, respectively. However, the regulation of proximal–distal patterning at the embryonic stage of human lung development is largely unknown. Here we investigated the early lung development of human embryos at weeks 4–8 post fertilization (Carnegie stages 12–21) using single-cell RNA sequencing, and obtained a transcriptomic atlas of 169,686 cells. We observed discernible gene expression patterns of proximal and distal epithelia at week 4, upon the initiation of lung organogenesis. Moreover, we identified novel transcriptional regulators of the patterning of proximal (e.g., THRB and EGR3) and distal (e.g., ETV1 and SOX6) epithelia. Further dissection revealed various stromal cell populations, including an early-embryonic BDNF+ population, providing a proximal–distal patterning niche with spatial specificity. In addition, we elucidated the cell fate bifurcation and maturation of airway and vascular smooth muscle progenitor cells at the early stage of lung development. Together, our study expands the scope of human lung developmental biology at early embryonic stages.
