Ex situ and in situ AFM investigations on the growth of the (100) face of KDP with different pH values显示文摘Through investigations on the growth of the (100) face of potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP) crystal by ex situ atomic force microscopy (AFM) with different pH values at different supersaturations at 40°C,it was found that the growth of crystal was controlled by step flow at lower supersaturations, and the morphologies of steps were different under different growth conditions. In addition,at the higher supersaturations,2D nucleation mechanism controlled the growth. When the supersaturations were lower, the dislocation mechanism controlled the growth of crystal, and when σ≥0.05,2D nucleation mechanism played a dominant role in the growth of the (100) face for pH=4.2 and pH=2.5.However,for pH=5.0,the dislocation mechanism also dominated the growth of crystal when the supersaturations were lower, but when σ≥0.03,the crystal growth was controlled by 2D nucleation mechanism.Through investigations on the step flow of the (100) face of KDP crystal by in situ AFM with different pH values at lower supersaturations at 25°C,the velocities of normal growth of the (100) face were estimated at different growth conditions by in situ AFM.It was found that when the pH value was 5.0,the normal growth rate was the fastest at the same supersaturation compared to the other pH values and screw dislocation mechanism controlled the crystal growth. In addition,we found that with the reduction of the supersaturation of the solution, the density of steps also decreased, the width of steps became larger. Finally,a phenomenon which was the obvious anisotropic growth of steps in the step flow was observed by in situ AFM at σ=0.025 at pH=5.0.CHENG Min,LI MingWei,GUO JinLi & CAO YaChao College of Power Engineering,Chongqing University,Chongqing 400030,China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,6:4
Review on Offloading of Vehicle Edge Computing显示文摘Vehicle Edge Computing(VEC)is a new technology that can extend computing and storage functions to the edge of the Internet of Things systems. For limited computing power and delay-sensitive mobile applications on the Internet of Vehicles(IoV),it is important to offload computing tasks to the end of the VEC network.Still, high mobility data security and privacy resource management and the randomness of IoV brought about new problems to the offloading of VEC.To this end, this study focuses on the offloading of computing tasks in VEC.We survey principal offloading schemes and methods in the VEC field and classify the current offloading of computing tasks into different categories. We also discuss the prospect of VEC.This survey could give a reference for researchers to find and understand the essential characteristics of VEC,which helps choose the optimal solutions for the offloading of computing tasks in VEC.Mingwei Wang Hualing Yi Feng Jiang Ling Lin and Min Gao 2022Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Technology2022,2,4:1

Chlorophyllase is transcriptionally regulated by CsMYB308/CsDOF3 in young leaves of tea plant显示文摘Chlorophyll contributes to tea coloration, which is an important factor in tea quality. Chlorophyll metabolism is induced by light, but the transcriptional regulation responsible for light-induced chlorophyll metabolism is largely unknown in tea leaves. Here, we characterized a chlorophyllase1 gene CsCLH1 from young tea leaves and showed it is essential for chlorophyll metabolism, using transient overexpression and silencing in tea leaves and ectopic overexpression in Arabidopsis. CsCLH1 was significantly induced by high light. The DOF protein CsDOF3, an upstream direct regulator of CsCLH1, was also identified. Acting as a nuclear-localized transcriptional factor, CsDOF3 responded for light and repressed CsCLH1 transcription and increased chlorophyll content by directly binding to the AAAG cis-element in the CsCLH1 promoter. CsDOF3was able to physically interact with the R2R3-MYB transcription factor CsMYB308 and interfere with transcriptional activity of CsCLH1. In addition, CsMYB308 binds to the CsCLH1 promoter to enhance CsCLH1 expression and decrease chlorophyll content. CsMYB308 and CsDOF3 act as an antagonistic complex to regulate CsCLH1 transcription and chlorophyll in young leaves. Collectively, the study adds to the understanding of the transcriptional regulation of chlorophyll in tea leaves in response to light and provides a basis for improving the appearance of tea.Weimin Liu Siyan Liu Kaiyue Zhang Mingwei Xie Haiwei Sun Xiaoqin Huang Lixia Zhang Min Li 2023Horticultural Plant Journal2023,9,6:0
In silico Analysis of the Potential Infection Mechanisms of Magnaporthe grisea from Horizontal Gene Transfer Hypothesis显示文摘Horizontal gene transfer (HGT) has long been considered as a principal force for an organism to gain novel genes in genome evolution. Homology search, phylogenetic analysis and nucleotide composition analysis are three major objective approaches to arguably determine the occurrence and directionality of HGT. Here, 21 genes that possess the potential to horizontal transfer were acquired from the whole genome of Magnaporthe grisea according to annotation, among which three candidate genes (corresponding protein accession numbers are EAA55123, EAA47200 and EAA52136) were selected for further analysis. According to BLAST homology results, we subsequently conducted phylogenetic analysis of the three candidate HGT genes. Moreover, nucleotide composition analysis was conducted to further validate these HGTs. In addition, the functions of the three candidate genes were searched in COG database. Consequently, we conclude that the gene encoding protein EAA55123 is transferred from Clostridium perfringens. Another HGT event is between EAA52136 and a certain metazoan's corresponding gene, but the direction remains uncertain. Yet, EAA47200 is not a transferred gene.Chunyang Li Ying Wang Hao Peng Hejiao Bian Mingwei Min Longfei Chen Qian Liu Jinku Bao 2009Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2009,7,3:0
Discovery of a potent and selective cell division cycle 7 inhibitor from 6-(3-fluoropyridin4-yl)thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin-4(3H)-one derivatives as an orally active antitumor agent显示文摘To the Editor:Kinase cell division cycle 7(CDC7),a cell division cycle protein, takes a vital role in mediating DNA replication1.CDC7 complexes in the nucleus can phosphorylate the minichromosome maintenance complex(MCM)family members that bind to chromosomes. In addition,CDC7 kinase,as a molecular switch regulating DNA replication, can mediate DNA damage signaling pathways to stimulate cell cycle termination as well as DNA replication2.Studies have shown that CDC7 is overexpressed in many types of cancer cells, and its overexpression was related to poor patient survival, tumor grade, genetic instability, aneuploidy and so on3.Therefore,CDC7 is a promising target for antitumor therapy.Mingwei Fu Min Ge Wanxiang Yang Chunchen Hu Xiaowei Li Yuanjiang Wang Shaohua Gou 2024Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,2:0
Single-cell RNA sequencing reveals the developmental program underlying proximal–distal patterning of the human lung at the embryonic stage显示文摘The lung is the primary respiratory organ in human, in which the proximal airway and the distal alveoli are responsible for air conduction and gas exchange, respectively. However, the regulation of proximal–distal patterning at the embryonic stage of human lung development is largely unknown. Here we investigated the early lung development of human embryos at weeks 4–8 post fertilization (Carnegie stages 12–21) using single-cell RNA sequencing, and obtained a transcriptomic atlas of 169,686 cells. We observed discernible gene expression patterns of proximal and distal epithelia at week 4, upon the initiation of lung organogenesis. Moreover, we identified novel transcriptional regulators of the patterning of proximal (e.g., THRB and EGR3) and distal (e.g., ETV1 and SOX6) epithelia. Further dissection revealed various stromal cell populations, including an early-embryonic BDNF+ population, providing a proximal–distal patterning niche with spatial specificity. In addition, we elucidated the cell fate bifurcation and maturation of airway and vascular smooth muscle progenitor cells at the early stage of lung development. Together, our study expands the scope of human lung developmental biology at early embryonic stages. The discovery of intrinsic transcriptional regulators and novel niche providers deepens the understanding of epithelial proximal–distal patterning in human lung development, opening up new avenues for regenerative medicine.Shangtao Cao Huijian Feng Hongyan Yi Mengjie Pan Lihui Lin Yao Santo Zhang Ziyu Feng Weifang Liang Baomei Cai Qi Li Zhi Xiong Qingmei Shen Minjing Ke Xing Zhao Huilin Chen Qina He Mingwei Min Quanyou Cai He Liu Jie Wang Duanqing Pei Jiekai Chen Yanlin Ma 2023Cell Research2023,33,6:0
Rock physics model for velocity–pressure relations and its application to shale pore pressure estimation显示文摘Acoustic wave velocity has been commonly utilized to predict subsurface geopressure using empirical relations.Acoustic wave velocity is, however, affected by many factors. To estimate pore pressure accurately, we here propose to use elastic rock physics models to understand and analyze quantitatively the various contributions from these different factors affecting wave velocity. We report a closed-form relationship between the frame flexibility factor(γ) in a rock physics model and differential pressure, which presents the major control of pressure on elastic properties such as bulk modulus and compressional wave velocity. For a gas-bearing shale with abundant micro-cracks and fractures, its bulk modulus is much lower at abnormally high pore pressure(high γ values) where thin cracks and flat pores are open than that at normal hydrostatic pressure(low γ values) where pores are more rounded on average. The developed relations between bulk modulus and differential pressure have been successfully applied to the Upper Ordovician Wufeng and Lower Silurian Longmaxi formations in the Dingshan area of the Sichuan Basin to map the three-dimensional spatial distribution of pore pressure in the shale, integrating core, log and seismic data. The estimated results agree well with field measurements. Pressure coefficient is positively correlated to gas content. The relations and methods reported here could be useful for hydrocarbon exploration, production, and drilling safety in both unconventional and conventional fields.GUO Jingyi LI Min ZHUANG Mingwei SUN Yuefeng 2023Petroleum Exploration and Development2023,50,2:0
