1The generalized quasi-variational principles of non-conservative systems with two kinds of variables显示文摘According to the corresponding relations between general forces and general displacements, the balancing and geometrical equations of elasticity are multiplied by the corresponding virtual quantities, integrated with volume and area, and then added algebraically. Proceeding to the next step, by substituting constitutive relation and considering that body force and surface force are both fellow forces, the generalized quasi-variational principles with the two kinds of variables of the first type are established in non-conservative systems. Through substituting another constitutive relation, using similar methods as above, the generalized quasi-variational principles with the two kinds of variables of the second type are established in non-conservative systems. 3Quasi-variational principles of single flexible body dynamics and their applications显示文摘The reasons for studying single flexible body dynamics are that on one hand,it is the basis of flexible multi-body dynamics.If the theory of the single flexible body dynamics has been deeply studied,the theory of flexible multi-body dynamics will be researched easily.On the other hand,it has its unique and important applications.Quasi-variational principle of non-conservative single flexible body dynamics is established under the cross-link of particle rigid body mechanics and deformable body mechanics.Taking the interceptor as an example,this paper has explained the physical meaning of the quasi-stationary value condition of the quasi-variational principle in non-conservative single flexible body dynamics.Taking the launch of rocket as an example,it has illustrated the features of'one force for two effects'in a single flexible body dynamics.With an example of the extending flexible beam coupled with the spacecraft attitude,it has shown the transition from the single flexible body dynamics to the flexible multi-body dynamics.Finally,a number of related problems are discussed.LIANG LiFu LIU ShiQuan ZHOU JianSheng 2009Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2009,52,5:9
4Review on the NO removal from flue gas by oxidation methods显示文摘Due to the increasingly strict emission standards of NOx on various industries,many traditional flue gas treatment methods have been gradually improved.Except for selective catalytic reduction(SCR)and selective non-catalytic reduction(SNCR)methods to remove NOx from flue gas,theoxidation method is paying more attention to NOx removal now because of the potential to simultaneously remove multiple pollutants from flue gas.This paper summarizes the efficiency,reaction conditions,effect factors,and reaction mechanism of NO oxidation from the aspects of liquid-phase oxidation,gas-phase oxidation,plasma technology,and catalytic oxidation.The effects of free radicals and active components of catalysts on NO oxidation and the combination of various oxidation methods are discussed in detail.The advantages and disadvantages of different oxidation methods are summarized,and the suggestions for future research on NO oxidation are put forward at the end.The review on the NO removal by oxidation methods can provide new ideas for future studies on the NO removal from flue gas.Meng Si Boxiong Shen George Adwek Lifu Xiong Lijun Liu Peng Yuan Hongpei Gao Cai Liang Qihai Guo 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,3:8
5Diversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal spore communities and its relations to plants under increased temperature and precipitation in a natural grassland显示文摘Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)form mutualisms with most plant species,and therefore,understanding how AMF communities will respond to climate change is essential for predictions of changes in plant communities.To evaluate the impact of global climate change on AMFs and plant-AMF interactions in a natural grassland in Inner Mongolia,both artificial warming and watering treatments were assigned to experimental plots.Our results indicate that(1)warming and precipitation significantly affected the relative spore abundance of abundant sporulating AMF species;(2)the relative abundance of weak sporulating AMF species and AMF diversity decreased under experimental warming;(3)evidence was found that the composition of the AMF community in a given year might be correlated with plant community composition in the following year;and(4)grasses and forbs showing different preferences to Claroideoglomus etunicatum or Ambispora gerdemannii dominated plots.Our results imply that climate change appears to induce changes in AMF assemblages with knock-on effects on grassland plant communities.AMF communities may play a much more important role than we have thought in the responses of ecosystem to global climate changes.SUN XiuFeng SU YuanYing ZHANG Ying WU MingYu ZHANG Zhe PEI KeQuan SUN LiFu WAN ShiQiang LIANG Yu 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,33:6
6Diversity of root-associated fungi of Vaccinium mandarinorum along a human disturbance gradient in subtropical forests,China显示文摘Aims Ericaceous plant species can host diverse fungi in their roots,including ericoid mycorrhizal fungi(ERMF),endophytes,pathogens and some species with unknown functions.However,how this diversity of fungi responds to different human disturbances is not well understood.Methods In this study,we examined the effects of different human disturbance on fungal diversity in hair roots of Vaccinium mandarinorum,an ericaceous plant.Fungal DNA was extracted from hair roots of V.mandarinorum and high-throughput sequencing was applied to detect the diversity of root-associated fungi along a human disturbance gradient in subtropical forests in Gutianshan National Nature Reserve(GNNR)in East China.The four forest types with different disturbance regime were:old growth forest(OGF),secondary forest with once cut(SEC I),secondary forest with twice cut(SEC II)and Cunninghamia lanceolata plantation(PLF).Important Findings The results showed that:(i)diverse fungal operational units(OTUs)were detected in hair roots of V.mandarinorum in the four types of forests,covering fungal phyla of Ascomycota,Basidiomycota,Chytridiomycota,Glomeromycota and Zygomycota;(ii)Community composition of root-associated fungi of V.mandarinorum in PLF was distinct from those in the other three forest types,and two types of secondary forests had similar fungal community composition;(iii)Different fungal families respond differently to human disturbances:fungal families with significant preference to OGF were ectomycorrhizal or saprophytic fungi while fungal families with higher relative abundance in PLF were plant pathogenic or saprophytic fungi;(iv)The first principal component(PC1)of plant community had a significant effect on composition of root-associated fungal community,while edaphic parameters showed no significant effect on fungal community composition in roots of V.mandarinorum.Our results help to better understand the responses of both ericaceous plants and their fungal partners to human disturbances and forest managements.Yanhua Zhang Jian Ni Fangping Tang Lifen Jiang Tianrong Guo Kequan Pei Lifu Sun Yu Liang 2017Journal of Plant Ecology2017,10,1:6

8Significant difference between sirolimus and paclitaxel nanoparticles in antiproliferation effect in normoxia and hypoxia: The basis of better selection of atherosclerosis treatment显示文摘Compared with paclitaxel,sirolimus has been more used in the treatment of vascular restenosis gradually as an anti-proliferative drug,but few basic studies have elucidated its mechanism.The anti-proliferative effects of sirolimus or paclitaxel have been demonstrated by numerous studies under normoxia,but few studies have been achieved focusing hypoxia.In this study,porcine carotid artery injury model and classical cobalt chloride hypoxia cell model were established.Sirolimus nanoparticles(SRM-NPs),paclitaxel nanoparticles(PTX-NPs)and blank nanoparticles(Blank-NPs)were prepared respectively.The effect of RPM-NPs on the degree of stenosis,proliferative index and the expression of PCNA after 28 days of porcine carotid artery injury model was evaluated.Compared with saline group and SRM groups,SRM-NPs group suppressed vascular stenosis,proliferative index and the expression of PCNA(P<0.01 and P<0.05).Endothelial cell(EC)and smooth muscle cell(SMC)were pre-treated with cobaltous chloride,followed by SRM-NPs,PTX-NPs,Blank-NPs or PBS control treating,the effects on cell proliferation,HIF-1 expression and glycolysis were detected.SRM-NPs could inhibit EC and SMC proliferation under hypoxia,while PTX-NPs couldn't(P<0.001).Significant differences between sirolimus and paclitaxel NPs in anti-proliferation effect under normoxia and hypoxia may due to the different inhibitory effects on HIF-1αexpression and glycolysis.In conclusion,these results suggest that sirolimus can inhibit the proliferation of hypoxic cells more effectively than paclitaxel.These observations may provide a basis for understanding clinical vascular stenosis therapeutic differences between rapamycin and paclitaxel.Youlu Chen Yong Zeng Xiaowei Zhu Lifu Miao Xiaoyu Liang Jianwei Duan Huiyang Li Xinxin Tian Liyun Pang Yongxiang Wei Jing Yang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,3:2
9Unconventional Hamilton-type variational principles for analytical mechanics显示文摘According to the basic idea of classical yin-yang complementarity and modern dual-complementarity, in a simple and unified new way proposed by Luo, the un-conventional Hamilton-type variational principles of holonomic conservative system in analytical mechanics can be established systematically. This unconventional Hamilton-type variational principle can fully characterize the initial-value problem of analytical mechanics, so that it is an important innovation for the Hamilton-type variational principle. In this paper, an important integral relation is given, which can be considered as the expression of the generalized principle of virtual work for analytical mechanics in mechanics. Based on this relation, it is possible not only to obtain the principle of virtual work of holonomic conservative system in analytical mechanics, but also to derive systematically the complementary functionals for three-field and two-field unconventional variational principles, and the functional for the one-field one by the generalized Legendre transformation given in this paper. Further, with this new approach, the intrinsic relationship among various principles can be explained clearly. 12Investigation of power-type variational principles in liquid-filled system显示文摘Starting from the basic equations of hydrodynamics, the maximum powertype variational principle of the hydrodynamics of viscous fluids was established by Weizang CHIEN in 1984. Through long-term research, it is clarified that the maximum power-type variational principle coincides with the Jourdian principle, which is one of the common principles for analytical mechanics. In the paper, the power-type variational principle is extended to rigid-body dynamics, elasto-dynamics, and rigid-elastic-liquid coupling dynamics. The governing equations of the rigid-elastic-liquid coupling dynamics in the liquid-filled system are obtained by deriving the stationary value conditions. The results show that, with the power-type variational principles studied directly in the state space, some transformations in the time domain space may be omitted in the establishing process, and the rigid-elastic-liquid coupling dynamics can be easily numerically modeled.Moreover, the analysis of the coupling dynamics in the liquid-filled system in this paper agrees well with the numerical analyses of the coupling dynamics in the liquid-filled system offered in the literatures.Haiyan SONG Lifu LIANG 2015Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2015,36,12:1

16Quality influencing factors of dispersion curves from short period dense arrays based on a convolutional neural network across the north section of the Xiaojiang fault area显示文摘The number of dispersion curves increases significantly when the scale of a short-period dense array increases.Owing to a substantial increase in data volume,it is important to quickly evaluate dispersion curve quality as well as select the available dispersion curve.Accordingly,this study quantitatively evaluated dispersion curve quality by training a convolutional neural network model for ambient noise tomography using a short-period dense array.The model can select high-quality dispersion curves that exhibit a≤10%difference between the results of manual screening and the proposed model.In addition,this study established a dispersion curve loss function by analyzing the quality of the dispersion curve and the corresponding influencing factors,thereby estimating the number of available dispersion curves for the existing observation systems.Furthermore,a Monte Carlo simulation experiment is used to illustrates the station-pair interval distance probability density function,which is independent of station number in the observational system with randomly deployed stations.The results suggested that the straight-line length should exceed 15 km to ensure that loss rate of dispersion curves remains<0.5,while maintaining the threshold ambient noise tomography accuracy within the study area.Si Chen Rui Gao Zhanwu Lu Yao Liang Wei Cai Lifu Cao Zilong Chen Guangwen Wang 2023Earthquake Science2023,36,3:0
