1Skeleton-vasculature chain reaction: a novel insight into the mystery of homeostasis显示文摘Angiogenesis and osteogenesis are coupled.However,the cellular and molecular regulation of these processes remains to be further investigated.Both tissues have recently been recognized as endocrine organs,which has stimulated research interest in the screening and functional identification of novel paracrine factors from both tissues.This review aims to elaborate on the novelty and significance of endocrine regulatory loops between bone and the vasculature.In addition,research progress related to the bone vasculature,vessel-related skeletal diseases,pathological conditions,and angiogenesis-targeted therapeutic strategies are also summarized.With respect to future perspectives,new techniques such as single-cell sequencing,which can be used to show the cellular diversity and plasticity of both tissues,are facilitating progress in this field.Moreover,extracellular vesicle-mediated nuclear acid communication deserves further investigation.In conclusion,a deeper understanding of the cellular and molecular regulation of angiogenesis and osteogenesis coupling may offer an opportunity to identify new therapeutic targets.Ming Chen Yi Li Xiang Huang Ya Gu Shang Li Pengbin Yin Licheng Zhang Peifu Tang 2021Bone Research2021,9,3:6
2Hepatic encephalopathy complicated with hyponatremia and acid-base disturbance and its prognosis显示文摘Objective:To improve the diagnosis and therapeutic effect of occurrence and development of hyponatremia and disorder of acid-base balance among patients with hepatic encephalopathy(HE) by elucidating the regularity and mechanism,as well as its influence on prognosis.Methods:327 HE patients admitted to our hospital from January 1990 to June 2010 were enrolled.Meanwhile 316 patients hospitalized in the medical department of the same hospital were chosen as the control group.Patients in both groups were given the same methods to measure arterial blood gas parameters(pH value,PaCO2,[HCO3-],TCO2,BE and SaO2),blood biochemistry([Na+],[K+],[Cl-]),liver function,kidney function and blood glucose,serum sodium,and thereupon tocalculate the anion gap(AG) and the potential [HCO3-],and acid-base balance disorder.Results:Among the 327 HE patients,hyponatremia was found in 188 cases(57.4%),of whom 132 patients died(70.2%).While among the 316 patients in control group,68 presented with hyponatremia(21.5%),and 19 died(27.9%).The incidence and mortality were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.001).All the 327 patients presented with different degrees of acid-base balance disorder and 178 died(54.4%),in whom 164(50.2%) belonged to simple acid-base balance disorder and 74(45.1%) died,136(41.6%) were dual acid-base balance disorder and 80(58.8%) died,27(8.2%) were triple acid-base disturbance and 24(88.9%) died.Whereas in the control group only 83 patients(26.2%) were recognized as simple and dual acid-base balance disorder,and 18(21.7%) died.There was higher incidence of acid-base balance disorder and mortality rate in HE group than control one(P<0.001).Conclusion:Hyponatremia is valuable to judge HE patients' prognosis.The key parameters in the judgment and evaluation on acid-base balance disorder among HE patients are the change of pH values and serum electrolyte values.When pH value ≤ 7.30 or > 7.55,it generally suggests a poor prognosis.Ren Chengshan Wang Lei Zhao Xiaoyan Yang Shiming Zhang Yanqi Wang Xiwen Bo Jianying Zhang Pengbin Guo Hong Ling Xianlong Li Yihui Da Siping Xie Xia Ren Wei Li Chunhua Qian Guisheng 2012Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2012,27,3:3
3Using unmanned aerial vehicles with thermal-image acquisition cameras for animal surveys:a case study on the Sichuan snub-nosed monkey in the Qinling Mountains显示文摘Following significant developments in technology,alternative devices have been applied in fieldwork for ani­mal and plant surveys.Thermal-image acquisition cameras installed on unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)have been used in animal surveys in the wilderness.This article demonstrates an example of how UAVs can be used in high mountainous regions,presenting a case study on the Sichuan snub-nosed monkey with a detection rate of 65.19%for positive individual identification.It also presents a model that can prospectively predict popula­tion size for a given animal species,which is based on combined initial work using UAVs and traditional sur­veys on the ground.A great potential advantage of UAVs is significantly shortening survey procedures,particu­larly for areas with high mountains and plateaus,such as the Himalayas,the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,Hengduan Mountains,the Yunnan-Gui Plateau and Qinling Mountains in China,where carrying out a traditional survey is extremely difficult,so that species and population surveys,particularly for critically endangered animals,are largely absent.This lack of data has impacted the management of endangered animals as well as the formulation and amendment of conservation strategies.Gang HE Haitao YANG Ruliang PAN Yewen SUN Pengbin ZHENG Jinghua WANG Xuelin JIN Jingjie ZHANG Baoguo LI Songtao GUO 2020Integrative Zoology2020,15,1:2

6Piezoelectric ceramics with high piezoelectricity and broad temperature usage range显示文摘There is a general observation that the Curie temperature and piezoelectric property of the ferroelectric ceramics can be enhanced only at the expense of each other,i.e.,higher piezoelectricity,lower Curie temperature,thus,limits their applications over broad temperature range.In this research,Sm-modified 0.15 Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_(3)-(0.85-x)PbZrO_(3)-xPbTiO_(3) ceramics have been studied,where excellent piezoelectric coefficients d33¼720 pC/N,d_(33)*=950 pm/V and high Curie temperature T_(C)=293℃ were simultaneously achieved for x=0.42 composition by designing the morphotropic phase boundary(MPB)with local structural heterogeneity.Of particular significance is that a high thermal stability was observed with piezoelectric variation below 20%with temperature up to 280℃,demonstrating that the x=0.42 composition is a good candidate for piezoelectric application over broad temperature range where high temperature stability is required.This work provides a good paradigm for designing highperformance piezoelectric ceramics with high thermal stability via a combination of MPB and local structural heterogeneity.Qinghu Guo Fei Li Fangquan Xia Pengbin Wang Xiaoyi Gao Hua Hao Hanxing Liu Huajun Sun Shujun Zhang 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,4:0
7Technological Innovation Efficiency Evaluation of Equipment Manufacturing Industry--An Empirical Study of Shandong Province in China显示文摘Based on the statistical data of eight sub-sectors of equipment manufacturing industry in Shandong province from 2012-2016,DEA and Malmquist index were used to give the static and dynamic evaluation of technological innovation efficiency.The results show that the overall technological innovation efficiency of Shandong equipment manufacturing industry is higher due to the high pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency.As the technical regress and inefficient allocation of resources deepened,the total factor productivity of Shandong equipment manufacturing industry presents a dropped tendency.According to the innovation efficiency and its changes,different industries should adopt the specific development strategies.Pengbin Gao Xue Li 2018经济管理学刊(中英文版)2018,7,2:0
8Computer-Assisted Path Planning for Minimally Invasive Vascular Surgery显示文摘Path planning assisted by two-dimensional medical images is an essential part of minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment for cardiovascular diseases. Due to the complex background of angiography images and intricate vascular structure with multi-branch and stenoses,creating accurate pathways from angiography image is a challenge task. We present a new path planning methodology based on angiography medical images using the steady fluid dynamics. Our novel approach is useful in many medical applications, such as for computer-assisted medical images analysis and the follow-on image-guided interventions. A graph-cuts based energy function was applied to the vessel segmentation of angiography images in order to obtain boundary information. We have adopted Finite volume method(FVM) to simulate the Newtonian fluid inside the segmented blood vessels, and a set of isobars under the steady fluid condition are obtained by Meandering Triangles algorithm. The selected center points of isobars are organized to generate the directed vessels-tree, from which the vascular stenoses are automatically detected and the final surgical path is generated with branches. Our method can be used for quantitative path analysis, and we show experimental results to demonstrate that the versatility and applicability of the algorithm in obtaining single-pixel surgical path with good performance, high accuracy and less manual interventions, especially it is robust on complex vascular structures.HUANG Dongjin TANG Pengbin WANG Yin LI Hejuan TANG Wen DING Youdong 2018Chinese Journal of Electronics2018,27,6:0
9Visualization Analysis for China’s Business Schools Accreditation Studies Based on Knowledge Mapping显示文摘The aim of the paper is to identify and explore leading thematic areas within the research field related to Business Schools Accreditation in China.Based on data from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database,the keywords frequency was analyzed,and the theory of mapping knowledge domain was used to visualize the keywords co-occurrence network to make further research of the heated issues.The findings indicate that the research scope involved in business school accreditation research is broad,and research content focus on teaching,management,talent cultivation.According to the results of keywords co-occurrence analysis of different stages,AACSB,AACSB Accreditation,international accreditation,business school,AOL,internationalization,accreditation are the most important issues to business school research in China,given their position and role in the research network.The paper generates the added value mainly from the point of view of theory development.Pengbin Gao Yiduo Song Xue Li 2019教育研究前沿(中英文版)2019,9,4:0
10Demonstration of a manufacturable SOT-MRAM multiplexer array towards industrial applications显示文摘We have successfully demonstrated a 1 Kb spin-orbit torque(SOT)magnetic random-access memory(MRAM)multiplexer(MUX)array with remarkable performance.The 1 Kb MUX array exhibits an in-die function yield of over 99.6%.Additionally,it provides a sufficient readout window,with a TMR/RP_sigma%value of 21.4.Moreover,the SOT magnetic tunnel junctions(MTJs)in the array show write error rates as low as 10^(-6)without any ballooning effects or back-hopping behaviors,ensuring the write stability and reliability.This array achieves write operations in 20 ns and 1.2 V for an industrial-level temperature range from-40 to 125℃.Overall,the demonstrated array shows competitive specifications compared to the state-of-the-art works.Our work paves the way for the industrial-scale production of SOT-MRAM,moving this technology beyond R&D and towards widespread adoption.Chuanpeng Jiang Jinhao Li Hongchao Zhang Shiyang Lu Pengbin Li Chao Wang Zhongkui Zhang Zhengyi Hou Xu Liu Jiagao Feng He Zhang Hui Jin Gefei Wang Hongxi Liu Kaihua Cao Zhaohao Wang Weisheng Zhao 2023Journal of Semiconductors2023,44,12:0

14piRT-IFC:Physics-informed real-time impedance flow cytometry for the characterization of cellular intrinsic electrical properties显示文摘Real-time transformation was important for the practical implementation of impedance flow cytometry.The major obstacle was the time-consuming step of translating raw data to cellular intrinsic electrical properties(e.g.,specific membrane capacitance C_(sm) and cytoplasm conductivityσ_(cyto)).Although optimization strategies such as neural network-aided strategies were recently reported to provide an impressive boost to the translation process,simultaneously achieving high speed,accuracy,and generalization capability is still challenging.To this end,we proposed a fast parallel physical fitting solver that could characterize single cells’C_(sm)andσ_(cyto)within 0.62 ms/cell without any data preacquisition or pretraining requirements.We achieved the 27000-fold acceleration without loss of accuracy compared with the traditional solver.Based on the solver,we implemented physics-informed real-time impedance flow cytometry(piRT-IFC),which was able to characterize up to 100,902 cells’C_(sm) andσ_(cyto)within 50 min in a real-time manner.Compared to the fully connected neural network(FCNN)predictor,the proposed real-time solver showed comparable processing speed but higher accuracy.Furthermore,we used a neutrophil degranulation cell model to represent tasks to test unfamiliar samples without data for pretraining.After being treated with cytochalasin B and N-Formyl-Met-Leu-Phe,HL-60 cells underwent dynamic degranulation processes,and we characterized cell’s C_(sm)andσ_(cyto)using piRT-IFC.Compared to the results from our solver,accuracy loss was observed in the results predicted by the FCNN,revealing the advantages of high speed,accuracy,and generalizability of the proposed piRT-IFC.Xiaofeng Luan Pengbin Liu Di Huang Haiping Zhao Yuang Li Sheng Sun Wenchang Zhang Lingqian Zhang Mingxiao Li Tian Zhi Yang Zhao Chengjun Huang 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,3:0
15An Efficiency Analysis of MBA Programs in China’s Business Schools显示文摘Based on the data of the best MBA ranking in China selected by Manager Magazine,DEA and Malmquist index were used to evaluate the efficiency of MBA programs of top 25 business schools in China.The results show that the overall MBA programs have a high value on technical efficiency due to the high pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency.As the technical regress deepened,the total factor productivity of MBA program presents a dropped tendency.The results of ANOVA show that the location,type and international certification have no significant effect on the efficiency.According to the cross analysis of technical efficiency and total factor productivity,different business schools should adopt different development strategies.Pengbin Gao Xue Li 2018教育研究前沿(中英文版)2018,8,4:0
